Hey folks. I tried changing my wallpaper from the one I had,. When I selected the image, it read " setting wallpaper" for a few seconds and then the homepage goes blank. I've tried with several images including ones from the stock wallpaper gallery. The only wallpapers that actually work are the live wallpapers. I can't think of anything I've done lately that would cause this. I've rebooted a couple times to no avail. Not really an issue but it is annoying. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I go to set the wallpaper and as you know you're presented with that blue box that you can resize. The only issue is that I can never fit the whole picture in. Is there a way to do so?

just touch a dot (point) for 2 seconds and then move it to the edge without removing ur finger
That's what I've been doing. The image below is a 1080x768 wallpaper and as you can see I can't fit the whole image in.

I am on cm10.1 Franco kernel I can't add widgets from drawer when ever I try to select it does not select apps adding to home screen works normal. Anyone can help me ?

Awesome...thanks. One thing, the main background is black within the settings and everything...how do you male this white?
Unticking the "use dark theme" doesn't work.
Basically I want the stock backgrounds with theme able bubbles and stuff...which this does. But has a main background of black.

Awesome its what I'm looking for.
Weird thing is I used to just download a ROM and pull it from there set permissions and reboot. When I do that now it force closes. Yours worked though.

So I tryed every thing I could but when I try to install an app from my downloads I can't press the install button I looked it up and it turns out it that this app called screen filter that I download form the play store was the issue and by uninstalling it fix some peoples problem was fixed but I still have the issue I I reformat it everything I could on my phone but noting worked can any one help me plz

Are u on paranoid android with halo? If that's the case, u need to disable halo before installing apks

Well, I'm not on a custom rom (running stock android 4.3) nor do I have the screen filter. Still there is this problem. Help please!
Only the upper bar is translucent in 4.4.2 update, the down one still black, any help?

I also had this problem, I changed the wallpaper and that seemed to fix it. Weird. Failing that try a restart?
