Not only is the $280 you need to pay to purchase this phone online outrageous when compared to the other carriers, but my local store is asking for $50 more!!! Are they insane? What happened with T-Mobile and the S III? People don't want it that bad, guys!
Sorry for the rant.
tax, fees, etc.
T mobile cannot afford to subsidize these phones at the same rate as the larger carriers so you have to pay more on contract.

That's what I paid for it on the day one. It was $330 plus tax and upgrade fee's. A total of $389

$280 is already insane. Don't let your stores charge $50 more on top of that or you'll be shooting yourself in the foot with one of the most anticipated devices of the year. My 2c.

Ouch.
I went to Walmart and paid 198.00 plus tax which came to 214.34. And then 18 upgrade fee on the next bill. Plus, I got mine in release day. June 21st.

Yes, Walmart sells T-mobile phones for new and existing customers. They have computers at their wireless center for each carrier. It allows them to perform upgrades just like you were at a T-mobile store.
I paid the 299 to Att since my voice plan did not qualify for the $100 instant rebate, didn't like that but I sold my iPhone 4 for 270 so it wasn't that bad of an upgrade for me
Hey at least your not buying it off contract. I bought it off contract from my local tmobile store for $680!! I'm still in shock recovering from that impulse buy, looking back I could gotten a way batter deal on Craig list. But this awesome phone is slowly helping me forget about my hard earned cash.

Hearing you paid only 214 for the phone kinda piss me off, but at the sometime I still got the phone on day one. If wal mart in Illinois had it I would had been all on it for those prices. Make me wonder why T mobile can't come up those prices themselves

and grass is also green in case you didn't know.
How is this a thread? Yes as it was discussed for the last few weeks; T-Mo is selling the GS3 for $330. You can buy it from Costco and Walmart for much less.
Carry on.

I don't know about you. but my walmart got it the same day as the first launch, so I had my phone on the 21st for 199.99 + tax.

I paid $279.99 through T-Mobile after a $50 mail in rebate. My activation fee/upgrade fee was waived. T-Mobile does charge more for phones but you save money on the plans. Right now I have unlimited Talk/Text/2GB Data a month for $69.99.
I got my phone on the 21st and T-Mobile was the ONLY one in my area to get it from. Walmart/Costco/etc had nothing.
Im going to be paying 450 or 549 for the phone

IMO Playstore is your best bet. Its $14 for shipping, but you get a $25 playstore credit, a free copy of Transformers, and the best warranty service.

You get that anywhere just by activating it.
Don't know where you are. Here you can get them at staples, office Depot and frys electronics.

Walmart. Tax free weekend, I can have it now, and easy returns which unfortunately is a big possibility with this device. In fact, I've already returned one in 12 hrs due to ghosting, back light issues, and image retention. I tried to get the csr to annotate it on the return slip..but she just shrugged and said it was easier to write "doesn't work". Shame, hope it doesn't make it back on the shelf when someone unfamiliar with these issues thinks its fine because it boots and sends it back out into the wild.

I wasn't aware of that but it's still my understanding Google will only handle the warranty if you buy from them otherwise you have to deal with Asus.

Got mine at OfficeMax. I also got the 2 year protection package they offer for $29. It covers spills, drops, surges, fire you name it.

Straight Talk SIM Cards - $9.99 w/FS
This is a pretty slick deal if you are thinking about activating your ATT or Tmobile phone on the Straight Talk network. They offer $45/mo service with Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
http://www.straighttalk.com/ShopSims
Use the promo code: SIMSAVE
Reg. Price: $14.99
Discount: 5 off
Cost: $9.99
Free shipping.
$5 in savings
Select the $4.95 Fed Ex shipping option. It will be discounted at checkout.
Why are you posting dead deals? You should probably verify them before just posting.
Sorry, it's only free shipping 5 off now. Had to run out of the house and forgot to edit after my order. Tuff to verify because you have to go through the entire order process. Anyway straight talk is still a deal
I'll edit now. Thanks
If you do a SIM and activation card bundle you end up getting the SIM for free still. Since you have to pay for service it makes sense to do it that way. Saves you $15 vs just the $5 when getting just a SIM.
When I put in simsave code for the package with the plan and sim card it took $10 off.

Prepaid-refill.com and callingmart. I don't trust the first one based on reviews and other forums I've read on Google. There's people here who use it and no problems.
I've been using callingmart for over a year and I love em. They used to have discounts but tmobile put a stop to that a couple of months back. Great customer service as well as previously stated at least you don't pay taxes and you don't have to pay a fee to tmobile either. Hope this helps
