Some questions before getting Nexus 7

Hi, I'm getting Nexus 7 on Christmas, and I would like to ask some questions.
How's tablet mode with this tablet?
Any defects which are popular?
Are any game lagging? (I will play a lot I think)

If your on 4.1.2 you can change it to tablet mode or with a custom ROM. Mine has minor screen lift. Don't mind since I have accidental. And gaming is awesome!

I think I'll run PA, I had it on my One X and it was awesome. Thanks for the answer! :laugh:

There are many people having defects.. but you exchange it untill you get a perfect one LOL
About tablet mode, I just tried it and I don't know which one I like most... I highly reccomend you to hide navigation screens and top bar, so you can get use of your screen at 100% and with gmd gestures you can go back forward recent applications move directly to homescreen etc...

4.3 Roms and Tablet UI

For those of you that have played with some of the new 4.3 ROMs have you seen any with tablet UI functionality?

Have any 4.3 roms even been released? I thought they were still working on everything

No, but one of them has expanded desktop, if you're interested, which works great with gmd gesture control. It's ratcav's rom.

How do you activate expanded desktop? I am running ratcav's rom but couldn't figure it out. Thanks.

I had the same problem until I found it in the power menu.

PA is out so I'm going to give that a try. Might wait a few builds as the first one has usually has a few bugs to work out. Running pure stock right now just so I can say I tried it.

Wondering if anyone has found a ROM yet with tabletUI?

The camera works on galaxy s3 i9305 running cm 10.2 but when u take a picture in the dark with the flash. It doesn't work properly.. U can see there is something there but its not clear at all

Sorry, there was supposed to be a picture in my post. It's just one wallpaper that I am after, and it isnt posted in this thread (or any other thread in the nexus 5 forum), hence why I asked for it here. It's the wallpaper that the nexus 5 was marketed with, the one with the colourful curved shapes.

Thanks for your work. But I don't see a way to download items from the site as your OP stated. I'd rather do it manually instead of by way of downloading another app. If it has to be through your app, will the items downloaded stay on the phone without the app?

Icons are small and have a duck on them

I'm running beans bld 2 and I've just enabled aosp lockscreen. I restarted my phone and now my icons are tiny and some of them have this duck on them. Does anyone know why this happened and how to get my icons back to normal size?

I dunno if this is troll post or just humor post but it looks like you have custom icons installed and the default icon for anything not in the pack is the wheres my perry app icon
