Modern Combat 3 FREE PROMO

I am not sure if this have been described earlier but I was just sitting in the afternoon and checking samsung Apps and found out that Samsung app is giving away modern combat 3 FREE. Promo... I am downloading the game data right now.....:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I had the same problem on my phone, so I deleted the app, the app data, downloaded again and then it works just fine... Try downloading again cause it works!

I am in the UK too. I just done a search for them and they were there.

[Q] Nexus 7 and Mac/iTunes

Hey everyone!
Well my girlfriend just bought me a new Nexus 7 for xmas. I run strictly Mac OS X as I do a lot of graphic design.
Well I have had an iTunes gift card for a while now however Apples DRM stops me from transferring music, movies, and books onto any system other than iOS.
Is there any well known apple based software that will allow me to remove apples drm for books, music, and movies? Im not really concerned on price of the software, however the closer to free, the better.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I found "Calibre" which supposedly does books, however it wont find any books that i have on iTunes.

Itunes music should be drm free, then u export them with itunes to the .mp3 format. I would highly reccomend using the google play music "scan and match"or amazon cloud player.

Facebook games on Nexus 4....

Hi All,
How can we play facebook games on Nexus 4? These games require Adobe flash player 11.1 and now Adobe has discontinue its support to Android. You cant even get the flash player from Google Play Store
I'm a huge fan of Farmville and Criminal case and I cant play these games on Nexus 4 (at least till now).
I tried them on Opera, Chrome, UC and Firefox to no avail...
Is anyone able to play facebook games on this phone?
I could not find any threads related to this issue so creating this thread. Please post your experiences.

You can get flash player on the Nexus 4. The issue is using flash to play those games since you can't even access those facebook games.
You can check if the developer of the Facebook games have made Apps for them on the play store

Yes, actually I have got Flash 11.2 installed on my phone but it doesn't help in opening facebook games on the phone

You can't play those games on your phone. Please don't do that to such a nice device. Poor nexus.
Sorry I just hate Facebook games.
I'm sure its mainly a browser issue. Browser and flash have to be married in harmony for things to work right.

I installed and checked with Firefox beta. It's always redirecting to Farmville express (even if the check box for loading desktop version is checked) and for Criminal case it is showing that the game is loading but even after loading it 100% it is not going to actual game
Any suggestions?

It's not going to work buddy. Stop trying. No browser available in the play store will allow you to play Facebook games.

Not strictly true, I had Bejewelled Blitz playing on Firefox only yesterday but is was so slow it was unplayable. Even the daily spin took about 2 minutes. The game itself was like it was running in monthly instalments.
But it did run...

I opened my email this morning to find this from the Ouya team.
BEHOLD THE CHUPACABRA!
Update CHUPACABRA will launch on OUYA this week! Expect a smorgasbord of new features including paid games, audio pass through for XBMC, a new download-management tool, a new purchased-games list, new game details pages, updates to PLAY, bug fixes and more!
Finally native pass through for XBMC. Shoud make lots of people out there happy.

This up date broke every app on my ouya that isn't from discovery. Root, play store, hulu, Netflix, etc. Has this happened to everyone else? Any one get it working? If I can't get play store apps working again, I'll ditch this box and go the Amazon route.

Hello I had a same problem. Got a message google play stops working. I uninstall the google play. root again rooted. (maybe it is not necessary) then reboot. after that I reinstall framework reboot. finally reinstall google play again reboot. it worked for me. By the way install walking dead it is perfectly working on ouya

Stock Mod Soon I hope
I'm defiantly happy with all the fixes and additions that were made. Just hope someone makes a Stock Mod Plus for this soon. I was enjoying the extras, and I need root back. Simple features that requires root like Shutdown with the controller (not sleep, and not through the use of the power button), and a timer app that performs shutdown.
The next great breakthrough will have to be the button mapping with the virtual touch screen. I got close with The Google Play version of Soul Calibur but the game kept freezing up after the first few key presses.

Sames things happen to me. Will have to rollback using the SysReq method and install image with root. I didn't make a restore file so I paid the price and had to re-install everything. My suggestion would be if you do decide to roll back just wait for someone to provide the StockPlus Mod for the newest build. This constant removal of root is getting annoying.
On a side note, I can tell you upgrading from SPP_1.2.858_RC1 to RC-OUYA-1.2.995-r1 will remove all you extras and root. Even with the perserve setting on in the MOD collection.

I tried to run the "RooyMyOuya.apk" and it just kept simply crashing. What steps did you perform to get your root back?

Well actually root my ouya app had already installed. When I opened app after chupacabra update, the message was rooted. Nevertheless I rooted it again. After that framework had a problem , to solve it install framework again and then google play. May you have to factory reset.
by the way thanks to ouya team. Because new xmbc ouya is quite good. passthrough works perfectly with my amfi. dd and dts signs are active now.

If you guys open the apk file, you can get the jpg files. You can open it using Windows PC or Mac osx. You can also use root explorer or es explorer on android.

Opened the jpg files and set wallpaper from opening the apk file in root explorer.. The path in the apk file was res/drawable. They are all .jpg format

Here are the others... If you don't use Google now launcher you might be able to get the whole wallpaper on your home screen. These screenshots are cropped based on my 1440p scaling.

Ugh. I'm so damn sick of Star Wars.... And the movie hasn't even come out yet.
You can't turn on ANY tv channel without seeing a Star Wars movie or merchandise commercial at least once.
Disney had successfully ruined it for me by over merchandising it. I'm not even going to see it in theaters now, I'll wait for it to come on HBO or something.
