Fascinate .apk

How do you install the Fascinate Music Player .apk?
Everytime I try to install the .apk, it tellms me it cannot install the .apk...
Sorry im not the best at this...

How does one "push" with adb? Im having the same issue when trying to install music player and myfiles. Thanks!

That version force closes in disc view mode - isn't there a version where that was fixed?

That's hilarious and true. I am running his rom and it is working flawless. Fast and smooth and yes it has the Fascinate music player!

You cannot install it like other apps with the installer. You will have to put that apk file in /system/app either by pushing it using adb or just buy root explorer from the market and copy the apk to
/system/app after you mount the folder as r/w of course.

It baffles me that none of the other ROMs have it fixed yet. The instructions are in my ROM's thread. =/

Ah, didn't realize.
I've removed it from my install now anyway. Winamp owns.

I like winamp, but their implementation of music control on lockscreen doesn't seem to work.

It really whips the llama's ass.

I was wondering if I could delete the swype that is installed and get the updated one.

I know how to do it, I was just wondering if it can handle the new swype.. I guess i'll try and see.

I used the Swype beta on Apex and Fission, so I see no reason why it shouldn't.

i can uninstall swype no problem but its installing thats a problem for me. i get force closes everytime i install. any help?

Try flashing it as a .zip file in recovery

sign up fro swype beta,
google "installed swype beta on droid x"
follow the instructions on the files to remove via rootexplorer
Install the swype beta installer and install,
new beta works great a huge improvment over the now ancient preloaded version on the dx.

Netflix_1.2.2 build 874851-1.2.0-47 HERE

It's gone from the market but this is the latest APK from yesterday that works great after the OTA patch or Gingerbread.

The APK is in the RAR.

installed fine and opened let me sign in. when i go to actually play something, it crashes

It isnt really posted, go to settings then update then to htc update and update your phone. That should fix your problem. Thats if your not rooted.

Sorry if this a dumb question, I downloaded and went to downloads on the phone and it's there, but when i click on it to download it says file cannot be opened. can someone give me a step by step on how to install file. Thanks

You need to enable "unknown sources" option in the phone, the description is "allow installation of non-Market applications"
Go to Settings -> Application settings and it should be the first option, check the box and try again.

I use that firmware, and i rooted it with SuperOneClick v1.9.5.

download this file, put the .img file into image/ directory(replace the original boot.img, you should rename the file and then copy, overwrite). then power on the device. it worked for me at least
to mount the image/ directory to windows PC, go to the purple screen and plug it to PC's usb port.

Has this rom all languages? Also, if it's an official rom, why do you need to root it? Doesnt it install like all other official ROM's?

[Q] [Request] Stock music player MJ7

Hi, gmrender-resurrect is a little software able to play music sent over UPnP, it's working great with bubble UPnP and other stock galaxy player (tested with s3 and s4 mini and tab3 10.1) but it's not working with the note 3 stock music player
The dev is asking me if it's possible to have the apk to find out why it's not working (the dev doesn't have a galaxy note 3)

Go into system and /priv-apps or whatever it is titled and grab it from there and also from /system

I get MusicPlayerWT.apk from /system/app, but unable to install it to another device (my note is on stock 4.3 without root)

You'll need root or someone with root to grab the app for you.. I would but I'm on CM so don't have it I'm afraid.

NB3 should be good, but unfortunately I'm not able to install the apk on an other device.
It's written: application not installed.

I got the same error do we need the odex files aswell

You cannot install stock apps, move them to system/app
(If you arent rooted ure fcked)

I am on 4.3 MJ7 so this should be the right one for you.

I wasnt able to get it to work pasted both files into sys/app with correct permissions no dice im on mj5 if that helps
