Questions regarding my Rom

Well i am making A ROM but while using Cygwin to install init.d scripts etc. Using advanced options by pressing 0 i get an error regarding boot.img....i m using stock boot.img....can anyone help me?
Also i want to install a custom icon pack like hyperion rom has...not the same icon pack but similar so can anyone help me how to do this??
If everything goes well i will release my Rom in 1 week...The Rom's name is LOCA L1

To fix it, you will have to de-compile your framework-res.apk and change some lines in the styles.xml and color/s.xml

Such problems can only be solve by above method^^ [if you are advanced, and you know what you are doing!]
Or by flashing stock via odin
Or by restoring ROM via CWM

Decompile the apk by apktool
No need to to flash new rom
ROM EVOLUTION X3
KERNEL HELL FUSION
ALINS JB THEME + EVOLUTION S3 STATUS BAR.

I edit the framework-res and edit all color now everything is correct but contact portion is still white on white...
Now what to do??

So the conclusion is the that is problem in xmls

New contacts + framework =no problem
All apps have parent themes in framework..-alinmarin
So sum times editing gives problems...

download google keyboard from a normal website and install that apk on your phone(not from play store) after install go to setting and in input keyboard set google keyboard .
its very easy but i think google keybord its better on high quality screen on my phone it has very big button!

Yes you can, just put it under apps

And if keyboard need somes libary you get crash error - check'it first

its sooooo easy,download the apk,open the apk with Rootexplorer(on Device)or 7zip(on PC)and extract the libfiles,now copy the libfile to system/libs and set permission to rw-r-r--,just copy the Keyboard apk to system/app and set same permission like the lib.Reboot,done!

is it rooted? also what version of android is it on? Gravity box can help you with that if you are on Jelly bean+, if you aren't, you can open up the play store and search for status bars, and you can use these without root.

My galaxy y is Gingerbread (2.3.6)
And I don't want custom statusbar...I only want to change battery icon

didnt I give you the answer yesterday? you need to be rooted and deodexed
use a root browser to copy framework-res.apk from system/framework to your sd card
rename framework-res.apk to framework-res.zip
extract it with a zip app like zarchiver
replace the pngs and only pngs on a like for like basis - same filenames - dont touch xml files or anything else
rezip
change back to .apk
put in a flashable zip and flash in cwm with system mounted or push to system with rw-r-r but flashing is better
and questions go in Q & A section

How to add 0.00kb/s speed meter on CM7 Statusbar?

im sure it does - I would check again
iv used most the mods on that thread in cm7 and they all work so I would expect that one will do if done right
dont forget to sign your apk with a platform key after else your status bar might vanish
since Its not my thread I cant offer you any support here as iv not tested it

I follow the instruction very clearly......recompile my systemui.apk and install it but statusbar can't appear.........

read my previous post - if status bar vanishes (not force closes but just doesnt appear) you didnt sign your apk with a platform key

No sign the apk...
