[ROM] MIUI ICS v4 HD2

Hi All,
Found the port of miui V4 for HD2 but it is older version and very laggy.
Can someone please port the latest version of MIUI V4 to HD2 or guide me step by step to do it. I tried porting latest V4 build for Nexus S with dsixda kitchen but could not get it to boot

Got the Latest MIUI V4 Working on HD2 will upload the rom once i Wake up going to sleep now.

Why don't you just go to Galmets website and download from there they already have ports made even ics

The Above one is actual ICS port from Nexus S released by MIUI not just the ICS framework.

wait... ICS for HD2 from MIUI Team? how true? I've check on miuiandroid sites that even it's written ICS 4.0 but only for Nexus S other devices still remains 2.3.7
Prove to us that you're right cause Im so interested in this!

has picture and i have personaly installed this ROM. only problem is it is too slow just like the way tytungs build was before HW acceleration.
Resson i am putting this here is if someone wants to to mod this up.

I am highly interested in this. I have the latest rom MIUI actually shows on their website. 2.1.6 I am downloading this right now.. Hopefully it isn't in chinese like the website!

Before flashing modify these lines in Build.prop to look like
ro.product.locale.language=en
ro.product.locale.region=GB

Its not a Chinese

True, but considering we have the skills to port Miui V4 across to any device which has an already supported ICS rom, I think people call for us without thinking.
Shame really that we aren't allowed to post on XDA as we would be able to supply what others are wanting.
Ah well, what can I say, XDA and it's users shot themselves in the foot.

galnet can you guide me to port this Latest miui v4 ROM to HD2. I am trying to port latest nexus S rom to Hd2 using Tytungs ICS ROM. If you can provide steps to port would be much appreciated. . there are few thousands users of miui HD2 user waiting impatiently for ICS MIUI.

i have it booted up on my hd2 gonna run it a little and see if it is good. it is good by what i see and its ICS with an MIUI stlye but nice.

does it have the actual ICS system apps on this? And does it have any features compared to GB MIUI?

google galnet and you will find his website with a bunch of roms including hd2
it looks better than miui and was the first to start porting ics features in there roms though.
why can't you post your galnet roms here?
and what other ones are you not supposed to post?

[KANG]my little kang[MIUI v4 PORT based on CNA 1.4.0]

Hi guys,
this ROM is a MIUI v4 port based on Dax`s CNA port.
The MIUI v4 version I´ve used is the 2.2.24 build of Nexus s.
I took this guide for the build.
I only deleted some apks and added Wifix.apk.
Kernel is pawitp´s, but you can flash any CM9 kernel you like.
Only English and Chinese!!

Should have the bugs of base, but got some more problems atm, so don't flash, will taka a look into it.

Fixed some little mistakes, works ok so far.

It's just a simple port everybody can do. Dax made the real work. Don't think dev section is the right place.

If you are looking for Official MIUI release then I high doubt that.
You can find unofficial MIUI release here itself. Unfortunately it ICS based.

I think MIUI is now Open Source. .It looks really great on our Note. .Any devs to port it??

there's cyanofree and imilka's cm9 nightlies. go visit the dev section.

If I am correct, no body interested in porting GB for Note. They are waiting for Samsung to release ICS to get the drivers for their ICS MIUI rom. You can find a beta ICS MIUI rom (unofficial) rom in the dev section.

[WIP][ROM] MokeeOS Dhalham-GalaxyACE

Hey guys, this is a port of the rom MoKeeOS for Galaxy Ace. The current status is BETA/RC, everthing works except minor bugs. This rom is based on CM 7.2 by vo-1.

I have to try them. Now I'm running a CM stable. I had AOKP (the best ever on my old galaxy Nexus) but on the Oppo characters are really small! Have you got this issue?

Care to elaborate? Are you referring to the nightlies or even the stable version? The reason I'm asking is because I'm looking to buy a Find 5 with the intentions of running CM. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've been running this CM11 that flapjaxx put out for the Find 5. Pretty stable and decent battery life.

Cm is great on any device except the find 5 because there are better devs on other roms with better support and with the find 5 it's all about support as oppo's software is a bug party. CM had bad bugs before and great devs left their find 5 team. Just do maxwen or code fire x or Omni. Please I can't go further. I love CM but hate it for the find 5.

my find 5's with my GF and I'm completely elsewhere doing a job.U may get my have to wait a while as I have my G2 with me instead.Peace:good:

I'm running Asylum (omni) and my Find 5 never goes to Deep sleep. Any1 seeing this?

More recent roms would be codefireX imo. But you can use the latest cm11 roms with faux123 kernel which gave me even better battery life (especially if you tweak some settings using the faux kernel app)

Never install Nightly on Find 5. Very good Battery on 10 , ok on 11, but horrible by 12!
