Any ideas to add into my toolkit? - One (M7) General

I made a base to the toolkit. Here is a screenshot that I added. Any certain adb/fastboot commands that you guys want added in? Any devs want to certain stuff in here?

I used your toolkit on my one x. Thanks for the work. Hopefully you can support the ATT variant when it is released.

Hi! Used your toolkit also about a year ago on my MyTouch 4g Slide
BTW a nice suggestion would be adding support for installation of busybox. Not just pushing busybox to the binary folder but also automate the creation of installing all it's functions as a symbolic link.
And BTW looking at the icon of the program... Is that made out of autoit?

Used your toolkit for every HTC phone I've owned. Glad to see you here and I know you wont disappoint :good:

will your toolkit work on a mac?

My toolkits have much improved since you used the MT4GS toolkit!
I'll probably just have a zip that will be flashed. Makes it easier for me lol

Nope. I used Windows, do not own a mac nor do I have time to learn a new language to be used for a mac.

This looks like it will be nice for my first rooting experience. Just wish AT&T would get it closer to the 15th rather than the end of march.

hmm okay, well your toolkit looks quite good! Too bad i cant use it on my laptop... *kicks rocks* although i know how to do these commands on ADB but having it all in a quick and easy to interface would be nice, but thats where my parents laptop comes in handy!

Your tool kit is great. I used it to root my girls amaze. As of right now, no suggestions but I'll come back when I think of something.

Youtube "Gingerbread" port to Eclaire

As many of you may have seen on the main XDA website someone was able to port the gingerbread youtube app over to 2.1, i tried downloading it and deleted the stock youtube app and tried to install this with Super Manager but no luck, has anyone else tried?
I would like to see this working
Worked for me
I followed the instructions for in the Vibrant Thread and got this working.
Never used adb shell before but not hard at all.

Could not post link because I am not a member who has posted enough.
Tried uninstalling through Titanium and then installing the new apk - didn't work. Followed the instructions here using adb - success.

For someone that rarely uses youtube period, whats the added benefit?
Got this working....alot more features and really smooth...
Just renamed it to YouTube.apk and pasted over the one in systemthrough root explorer, too much to bother to connect to a pc.

This worked for me. Don't have a computer with adb on it at work. Pretty nice upgrade to Youtube.
EDIT: By the way, this is NOT a Gingerbread app, it's an upgraded Froyo app. Gingerbread isn't even released yet, AFAIK.
I installed it during my morning commute straight from the phone. Works great. I have to get used to it after using the old one but this is more like using the website. It's nice.

couldn't get it to work, but it works now!
Mine was working just fine and when I tried to open it again just now all I get is FC.
It was fun while it lasted, I guess. Good thing I still have the original youtube apk.

Get Rooted stock, Radio/WiMAX/PRI/NV/Hboot updates in ROM Manager

Alrighty everyone, I finished up a little project I've been working on for the past few days.
If you open up ROM Manager on your phone, go to the ROM list, and scroll down to the bottom, you'll find "EVO Stock and Radios". This new repository has a number of 100% stock, rooted ROMs as well as flashable ZIPs to upgrade your Radio, WiMAX, PRI, NV, and Hboot (assuming you're S-OFF!). Hopefully this'll make things a bit easier for people just getting their EVO going and needing a hand upgrading their radios.

In addition, I created another repo just for the Google Apps add-on. From now on, if you or someone else forgets to flash the GApps, or just needs to upgrade for a new package, it's much easier! And once the ROM Manager manifest on koush's page updates, this *should* include Froyo/CM6 GApps as well! Nifty, eh?
Enjoy!
This is the epitome of awesome. Nice work man.
Pretty useful exactly what i needed
Thank you, Dr.

I always get a "you should sign up to download" message at the site.
Anyway...is this what Samsung uses to flash/diagnose the phones?
Can't this be used for the S2? Is it an updated version that supports S3, or another different odin that supports specifically only the S3?

[Q] Root for Nexus 4 on 4.2.2 (Easiest Way)?

Hey guys,
I've rooted a couple of devices before (G2X, Galaxy S2, Optimus S). However, this is my first Nexus device. I'm really loving this phone and want to use it to its full potential. I'm been researching alot on how to root it but I keep seeing numerous ways and different advice. I know I have to unlock the bootloader first then install drivers. However, I've NEVER unlocked a bootloader before and I keep getting errors with installing drivers.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to get flamed for asking this (Which is fine, to each his own), but would somebody please give me an easy straight forward way to root this phone? I would greatly appreciate it. So far the videos on youtube dont actually show you how its done (they only show clips of the process already done). I'm currently on stock 4.2.2 version.
