Thanks button - Xperia Play General

Hello everyone I wanted to make this thread just to tell everyone that there is a thanks button so use it. It doesn't cost any money lol. People need to stop writing thanks and just hit that thanks button. It drives me crazy :banghead: seeing this and I don't feel like telling people this every time. So please everyone if someone helps you thank them by clicking the thanks button that was placed there for this reason

Wrong section. + No Rants!

If you write something helpful that deserves a thanks, someone will hit the thanks button. If they don't, that's just the way it goes. It's not important, and certainly didn't need a thread started about it.

Well sorry about that I guess you guys are right it just makes me crazy when people write thanks and don't press thanks instead. Is there a way to delete a thread because I'll remove this. I realized it was pointless.

Thanks for reminding.

+111 to all that's been said. So grateful for everyone who gives selflessly to help others. You all keep the world going.
A big thanks to the many, *many* devs who have helped make this phone a classic.
Rooting with 2.3.4
How to: Not from me but from another site. Just getting the info out.
You did not have to be rooted or have S-Off To do this. If you had it rooted and your S is off you have less steps to do. (How to check if your S is on or off is pull your battery on your phone and press the power and volume down button at the same time. HBOOT should pop up and at the top it will tell you if your S is on or off. [most people rooted before have their S off])
Hope This Helps All Of You!,

for info on downgrading the inc 2 to .97 hboot so you can root with revolutionary, see this thread here in the inc 2 all things root subforum
if you DO have an original droid incredible, aka Inc 1,then procede

READ THIS: i dont mean to sound like i dont want to be bothered with questions. however, folks are having basically the same issues thru-out the 600+ posts,so i can almost gauarntee if you have a prollem,it has been covered. please try and search for some answers before jumping to the end and posting. answering the same things over and over is just making the thread even longer and harder to search.
if you do have trouble and need to post questions about ADB commands, please provide a copy of your entire session in the command window along with the question. its usually pretty easy to see what went wrong when we can see the whole thing.
copy everything in the command window, and paste it into a code box by:
-right click in the command window, click mark.
-highlight everything in white. hit enter.
-then,in your "reply to thread" box here, click the "#" up top
-right click and "paste" everything between the

tags.
Wrong thread old chap.
Wow all that writing for nothing lol ^^

Thank you too all CONTINUUM DEVELOPERS!!!

I just would like to take a little time out of my day to say thank you too all the developers that helped push the Samsung Continuum to new heights! I thought I made a mistake in making the Continuum my first smartphone, because I looked endlessly on google to try to find some good things I could do with it. Then once I stumble over xda website it has been history from there...... I hope you guys can push this phone to the max and get every little piece of potential you can out of it. P.S. I also will be donating because you guys deserve it!!!!
Yeah..I have just recently rooted my continuum.not having any luck finding roms. I would like to change the stock boot animation, and disable the stock lock screen.any threads that you know of?

The Dev community did wonders to get this phone usable and able to access current apps. I appreciate all of the work that all of you have done for us.
So far,the only solution I have found for the puzzle lock without Modding,is lock bot pro.it works wonders.

Miui Revolution

So my last thread got locked for people bashing the moderators. I have all the files that livewings put up before he got banned if anybody wants to continue developing on this. Myself as well as many others on this forum would love to see this keep progressing. So please don't start bashing the mods over this and let's come up with a plan to get this back on track.

Ya...let's continue with the awesome ROM
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
Or maybe bring back the thread that was deleted if that is possible.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
It is really said that something like that happened.
But for now we have to save what we can because this build was really nice.
I am truly sorry for livewings. I hope that this issue will solved somehow satisfactory for everybody involved.
Ehh any update? What is your Twitter??? We follow you xD

The decision has been made, the other thread was closed, do not reopen another one. If you proceed with further development work on the ROM, make sure this subject isn't discussed in that thread or it, too, will be closed.

DynamicKat

Just want to give a big shout out to the devs of DynamicKat loving this rom so much. Can't wait to see what else can be added to it. Just a little known issue and that's the lock screen but no big deal at the moment.

Loving this Rom Also.:good:
Same as another recent thread - Shout out given.
For future reference the best way to thank a dev is hitting the Thanks button on their thread, considering a donation if you would like and/or feedback/bug reports to help them improve the build (in the appropriate thread).
Thanks!

Shout out time.

I want to give a shout out to all our great devs in our beloved forum. Thank you for everything you guys do for our little community. We know you guys work hard at your roms, tweaks etc, and it shows. Without you we wouldn't have such fantastic stuff to put on our phones. Thanks again.

Am I the only one that care about our devs hard work? I guess there must be someone else in this forum that feels this way.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Well... Considering that this is an unnecessary thread in the wrong section... It seems that you are in the wrong.
The gesture is appreciated, but it is not necessary to make a thread about it. Just hit the thanks button, donate, PM, etc.
Making a thread in the wrong section and it being unnecessary is clutter.
I am not trying to be a ****, it's just how stuff works here at XDA. Please refrain from posting completely unnecessary threads, especially in the wrong sections.
Sent from my SM-N9005A
Appreciate them with some donations.
My bad. I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. That's cool though.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
OK, shout out given. Let's close this one down before it goes south.
The easiest way to give a Dev a shout out for their efforts is the Thanks button and/or considering a donation.
If you want to do more than that, many of the projects can use bug reports and feedback as well (in the appropriate ROM thread.)
Thanks!
