[Q] K1 CM10 v6.1 Bluetooth Keyboard Issue - Thinkpad Tablet General

So I bought a EC tech Bluetooth on Amazon (I'd post a link but I can't) to use with my K1. I'm running krook's CM10 v6.1. The keyboard pairs and says it is connected, but it never shows up as an input device. I can work around the issue by using BlueKeyboard JP to connect. However, this seems clunky as a solution and doesn't work for Ctrl or Tab.
From hunting around, others have this issue with other BT keyboards, but I haven't found any solutions. It works fine with my Galaxy Nexus that is running stock 4.2.2.
Anyone have helpful thoughts? I tried copying the keyboard layouts from my phone, but that didn't help.

I successfully use my bluetooth mouse over SGS, don't have any wireless keyboard so i can't help you; anyway wiimote officially does not work with samsung phones and so any other wii controller; it's something related to samsung touchwiz i think but not sure.
Cheers
Which mouse you are using?
Try looking in the accessories thread, there is one there that I started that is quite long and has lots of bluetooth keyboards that are confirmed working (I stopped updating the first post a while back, so there are some more not included in that post further into the thread).
Wee example to show it working:

I have a logitech v470. Tried adding it to my phone and it worked flawlessly. Phone immediately connected and suddenly I have a mouse cursor on the screen.
I can't really see the use for it, but it's kind of cool.

BT Keyboard and Mouse

So I've had this Xoom BT keyboard for awhile now and it's worked great with my A500. I went out and bought a Targus BT mouse today and I'm having some trouble with the 2 of them when used together. If I connect the keyboard it works great but as soon as I connect the mouse the keyboard stops working. If I connect the keyboard the mouse stops working.
I just tried it with my Motorola Photon and get the same exact thing. This isn't going to work for me if I can't use both at the same time. Any ideas? I'm running the stock ICS but rooted.
I'm going to post this on the MO-Pho forum as well sorry if this causes any duplication issues.

Is there something wrong with the Bluetooth on Jelly Bean and/or Nexus 7?

Is there something wrong with the Bluetooth feature on Jellybean 4.1 or the with the Nexus 7 itself?
I bought a Bluetooth Keyboard for it for about $30. When it's working it works great, but it just randomly drops out when I am in the middle of typing. If I press the button to the right then they will connect to each other again, but then it drops out again in a few minutes. It's pretty much a useless device, because I can't keep constantly pressing the button while I am typing, it slows me down dramatically.
Does anyone know of any specific problems with Bluetooth on the Nexus 7 or with the Jellybean ROM?
I've been looking for a USB/MicroUSB keyboard to replace this one, but they all look so cheap and flimsy, so if you have any suggestions on that end they would be appreciated.
I know everyone hates when someone does this.
But my motorolla Bluetooth keyboard has been working very well no disconnects. I also use a mouse on occasion that has yet to fail me. I would check to see if you have a lot of Bluetooth devices nearby.
I am using stock kernel and ROM not rooted.
I use the keyboard and mouse together with zero issues so far.

Did you try testing that keyboard with other devices to see if the keyboard works properly?
No, but I will try that with my Droid RAZR and let you all know how it worked out.
Bluetooth file shares go smoothly, I've transferred at least a GB through Bluetooth. Bugs me that I have to change .epub and .apk files to .mp4 though.
I do Bluetooth with tablet talk, and Bluetooth connect to phone for network on cm10 rom. No issues, no dropping

I've used my wifes Logitect BT keyboard several times for 10-15 minutes at a time, no problem. I paired a mouse once to see it work, used it about 30 seconds.

Good lord, use some other method then.. Bluetooth is both slower than wifi and... renaming stuff? No way. There are plenty of other methods to transfer files to Android over wifi.

Bluetooth Mouse seen as a keyboard?

Running the latest CM10, when i connect my mouse either through BT or wired (Razer Orochi) it works fine as a mouse, but also detects as a keyboard. Nothing i've done has been able to get the software keyboard to come up.
any ideas? really frustrating to use like this.
Crazy Talk, you can get the virtual keyboard working again if you go into language & input under settings. Select "Default" under Keyboard & Input Methods and turn off the hardware keyboard. Hope this helps It at least worked for me on my CM10 for my Lenovo K1.

[Q] Q: Why won't my rooted Nexus 7 recognize any universal bluetooth keyboard

Hi,
I would really like to use my tablet to take notes and have tried various bluetooth keyboards on my nexus 7 2012 (rooted) to no avail. I have searched threads but they all seem to slightly differ from the issue I'm having (e.g. some users were able to use their keyboards prior to updating to a new android version while my nexus had never recognized the bluetooth keyboards). The universal keyboard I now have is a ge brand. Anyway, if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
