[DISCUSSION-TEST][25 JULY]CPU Governors and I/O Schedulers in DooMLoRD's Kernels

Since the moment that most of x10 users are using custom kernels and our devs are working hard to add new features and add-ons, i think that this thread can be a good place for most of us,like me, that would like to know much more about technical specs and options and for all devs, like a place for reporting experiences and give suggestions.

In the last few days, DooMLoRD has worked over his kernel ( v03) in order to add new I/O scheduler types and new CPU governors and he has let us the possibility to choose all settings we want and prefer (according with his kernel’s name “Power to the people”). So now, the objectives of this thread are:
-Post and link information about scheduler and cpu governor types
-Post tests, opinions, comparisons and suggestions about differences between them and over different ROMs
So standard posting form should be as below:
Kernel type ….(including max OC frequency used)
ROM and baseband version …
…all that you want regarding cpu governors and schedulers… ( benchmark tests are very appreciated )

my phone wroks fine @ 1152 with doom's kernel v3 x series (UNDERVOLTED)
@1152 interactive governer is the fastest and doesn't drain the battery. smartass though i think it's less battery consuming but is laggy.performance governer: wlod after a pretty time
@1190 smartass:so laggy and can't use it. interactive &performance :reboot
what's strange for me here is that with WB cust. kernerl 4.0.3 phone reboots always @1113 and didn't be stable till i reduced the MAX frequency to 1036
now with doom's kernel it's stable @1152 is that because of undervoltage?!! and if so..can i reach @1228 with more UV ?!!
for me i didn't use the s series (same kernel with stock voltage) so can't decide

I got error: "failure at line 1: copy_dir package: system system: installation aborted" when flash Doomkernel v4b for lockbootloader. Can u help me to fix it?

Yeah sometimes you get errors but still the kernel gets installed
Go to Settings-> about phone and check the kernel version

How about others added in v6 of doom's kernel
such as: smartassV2,interactiveX and etc..

If you started a thread, then you should update first post. Try to start with rhe right rom name in thread name. Write it like this (it would be easyer for mosTERRA ro review it and do the repairs):

Where we can get cloud +? Only cloud + app in official 2.3 is backup app. I found this: http://www.huaweidevice.co.in/Products/CloudPhones/Huawei-new-Ideos-X5.php but it says features what x5 doesn't have.
EDIT: I think cloud + is only available in India, can someone get me India firmware?

Does anyone have a geniewidget apk that would work on this rom, it didn't come with it A semi-transparent one would be even better, Thanks!
Also has anyone else noticed that the statusbar isn't transparent except in miui launcher, which I personally dont care for. So if someone has a suggestion on how to fix this, that would be great

GPS not functioning properly...

Had sound problem with Aurora v 4.0.8 with Kernel 1 update.
Fixed with Kernel 2 update and Beats Audio.
Now have improvement in sound quality and seems to be fine without any problem.
Check the attached Beats Audio sound.
I had few problems with Aurora 2.0.8 having random sound tracks playing cracking sound.

Probably should post that none of these are compatible with the verizon phone, or any US phone for that matter.
There's really no point in this list whatsoever, as it is a repost and you are going to have to trash it when your verizon phone comes.

I'm missing the Slim ICS ROM (see slimroms.com) from the list.
According the the supported devices page the Samsung Galaxy S III I9300 is supported.

Criskelo v5.3 problems
I flashed the Criskelo v5.3 rom and my phone keeps crashing every 5 minutes and then sometimes even restarts on its own. How to fix this issue? Does anybody else have it?

I'm on 5.2 without any issues but 5.4 just got released. May want to try updating and see if the problem goes away

im used this rom..perfectly smooth this cm7 rom..
but i got problem when use apps instagram..
got hangging & stuck after apply effect and wanna to post that picture..
that process suddenly stuck..
any idea to solve that problem?
my ace ram usage around 110-140..

Anyone have a link to battery extender kernel 1.2 or 1.4? I'm not getting the battery life I want out of this rom rarely using wifi or mobile data. But its good and smooth none the less.

can u believe this? (snapshot added on official site...) Stock JB free Ram is 5~10MB but On ViT itz Change to 8times bigger... ViT135.31 has changed whole Ram management. Swappiness 250, 5MB Forground, 20ratio, and etc. apps open faster.. works great on browser tabs..
multitask... i/o cfq realy fast and smooth.. (dont wipe data partition) no needed. edge class inclued... cache drop 0... ...
after 1st boot it will work slow becoz of cleared cache to be filled all apps work slow so reboot 2 times or more too get a best performance.. more use more smoother♥.
Update to ViT 135.31 and enjoy.♥..... get official update here..

No friend itz working 3g on my device perfectly... Bluetooth is a ordinary prob on shwm110 with jb updates
How ever i will go through it...soon

Hi there, I have flashed this rom on a friend's m110s but the device is slow as hell. It takes a lot of time to show display when power/home button is pressed to unlock. Its really laggy in menus and other tasks. Apps take time to start etc. Anyone else with this problem? Any solution?
