Hi,
Always make a Nandroid backup first...
Here in attachment the file you need (in /system/bin), it's not a flashable zip.
Copy-it to /system/bin then set the correct permissions (like the other files, rwxr-xr-x) then reboot.
thanks a lot,trying

How do I delete the above mods without having to restore to an older backup or flash a new ROM?
I am well versed with the android system and if you tell me to shell rm or delete using root explorer I can... Also I figured out that a few files were replaced while flashing these mods... so any help would be appreciated....
What u can do is unzip the files and see where they are being placed and then delete from root explorer. If any files are being replaced, unzip ur flashable rom and pull the original files and then place in directories, overwriting the modified fikes

I'm a new developer and have applied all my tweaks and edits via root explorer so far. is there a way to change a CWM backup into a flashable rom file for other users to flash? I searched around a bit, but couldn't seem to find anything about it.
Goto this thread here
follow all the setup to install cygwin & kitchen
once it's all setup you can plug your phone in and create a rom
follow the guide (second method) for creating the rom system files by extracting the system folders from your phone (rom you are using)
you can then turn it into a flashable rom zip
I think you just basically extract the CWM backup, then repackage them in 1 zip file (except for the androidsecure backup).

YOU CAN USE THE CWM BACKUP IN KITCHEN YO MAKE A CUSTOM ROM.BUT YOU CAN'T ABLE TO USE THE BACKUP FILE DIRECTLY AS A CUSTOM ROM.
OTHER HAND YOU CAN MAKE ALSO THIS BACKUP AS A DEODEXED STOCK ROM BY DEODEXING THIS BACKUP FILES.
YOU CAN FIND KICHEN GUIDE HERE-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690

Hmm thats how i make roms that i dont post here though....
In tthe cwm backup u have system.rfs.tar
Extract it using 7zip
U get system.img or u might get a system folder....
Extract the img file using Magic Iso
Open magic iso
In menu..
File>open
Select ur system.img
On the left side pane right click on the disk icon and click extract.select ur destination
Once the files are all extracted copy all of them in a folder named "system"
Now get a meta-inf folder from a custom rom and zip
Meta-Inf and system folder together
U have ur rom...
Ill create a video tutorial for this tomorrow as many people ask this question in different threads of devices....

easiest way to is restore your nandroid backup you made before you flash the mod
What I hear you cry - I have no nandroid backup!!
Well now you are going to have to do things the hard way
unzip the mod
look at all the files in the mod
now unzip your rom zip
replace all the files in the mod with the ones from your rom zip
rezip the mod
flash it in cwm with system mounted

@marcussmith2626: Dude, its only hard for noobs.
@abhishekr700: I can't help you when you choose to be a noob. You can follow marcussmith2626 if you want to restore your backup files.
If you don't need to restore or if you have not created a backup, then download stock ROM for your phone and flash it with odin.
There are lots of tutorials to flash it with odin. So don't ask me how to do so.
Press thanks if I helped you.

you can try this:
look in the theme for which files it have and then choose this files but from your current romzip or themezip what you used before you flashed the theme and replace it with the ones you didnt need on your phone, when you didnt have some files than its your fail, because a NANDROID BACKUP is allways recomned before doing changes in anyway
Recommend
Only odex version of the stock rom produce these kind of force close problems.
Try to flash deodexed stock rom. It will solve all the force close issues.
But the only problem is that it occupies more memory.
You can even extend your internal storage either by partitioning the sd-card or by swapping method.
Feel free to PM me if the problem doesn't get solved.
Press thanks if I have helped you.

Use Chrome if you on PC and mega client app if you on mobile
This is NOT flashable zip, extract them, put 2 .apk files into /system/app and .so file to /system/lib , 3 of them must be set permission into rw-r--r--
If you are on odex ROM, delete corresponding .odex file first
Better wipe dalvik/cache before you do so, to avoid any potential problem.
I don't know if we are on same firmware, but give it a try
Hey guys, just wondering how I go about making a flashable zip? Basically I edited my build prop and now my phone wont turn on, I don't want to go and have to wipe my phone as that's just a huge mess about. I did a backup of my build prop and copied over to my computer before editing so I do have the original. I'm rooted with TWRP installed, I've tried to sort it through adb when connected in recovery but the driver wont install so that's not an option at the minute. As I have the original build prop I wanted to know if it's possible to make a flashable zip so I can just replace the broken file with the working one? Cheers guys.

Pretty easy: Copy the unmodified build.prop file to an SD card. Put said card in the phone. Boot to TWRP. Mount both System and SD Card. Then go to ADVANCED and FILE MANAGER. From there you can rename the modified one in /system, copy the original file from the SD card, and then set its perms correctly.
Your phone should boot properly then.
Hope this helps!
