Hi,
About 2/3 weeks ago I had to send the zte to the warranty repair because there was some problem with the jack entrance, and because of that I had to block it to the original network and factory reset but I backed up the ROM I was using. The phone came back about 4 days ago and since then I have been trying to restore my old ROM. I downloaded z4root but it appears my phone is already rooted because there is the option to unroot it. But when I try to flash recovery or wnter recovery mode with the ROM Manager the following error appears:"An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands". If i boot while pressing Vol - + power button, it gets stuck in a blank image saying FTM.
Any help would be appreciated.
You can use the TPT method to install a recovery ans then restore your ROM. Just be carefull about your Blade Gen.

I'll try that, thanks
EDIT: alright, I tried flashing a tpt like it shows in this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644220.
I entered recovery mode but only 4 options are shown: reboot system; apply sdcard:update.zip; wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache partition. is this how it is supposed to be?

So reflash it with rom manager ^^ then restore

But my problem is, precisely, that Rom Manager doesn't work.
Hum, TPT your phone, you will have CWM recovery, then restore your backup hope it was the same version

Because some backup are not compatible with some version of CWM

Just want to let you know that I fixed the problem I temporary rooted the phone and was able to restore the backup ROM. Thanks.

On the other side, I have no problem flashing another 4.4.2 rom.
I always wipe before flashing.
Any clue why this is happening to me?
Thanks!

Hey i'm currently on cm13 and i would like to get back to stock i used to be on vns l31c185b130 can someone tell me how to ??
Envoyé de mon P9-Lite en utilisant Tapatalk
Download stock firmware, You can find it somewhere here on the xda, don't forget to download the right firmware in your case for the vns l-31 model. Extract the stock firmware and put it on to your sdcard in folder called "dload". After that turn off your phone and press and hold all 3 buttons (until you see "Installing update" screen) after the successful update, you need to reformat your data partition, because your phone won't boot now. To do that press and hold the power button and the volume + button until your phone reboots to the emui recovery. In the recovery choose the "Wipe data/factory reset" option. Reboot and you should be fine

If you are new to the topic of flashing and struggle finding the drivers and software, you might want to start off by reading this thread.
Then go to Xperiafix and pay the $20 for a bit of software to do it for you.
It is the very easiest way to flash your phone and sToRm// will always be updating his images to the latest versions of firmware.

You need to check that you can unlock your phone.
Open you phone and type *#*#7378423#*#* - Service info\Configuration - Rooting status: Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes
Then enable the developer options in the setting menu and enable OEM unlock.
Then follow the instructions here .
Tip: Windows 10 will not tell you that the drivers you tried to install failed. Look up 'driver signing disabled under safe mode' and install your drivers in that way.

I don't think the update will install. You can try an install it manually via Xperiafirm.
But you will have to re flash Xperiafix afterwards.
