GALAXY Y S5360 some question from a newbee

i m living in Bangladesh , using Galaxy Y s5360 [GB 2.3.6 , BaseBand s5360DDLE1 , Kernel 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#1] , i want to do
1.use a custom rom look like ICS/something cool (such as, for a fixed rom there are many custom roms , is there will be any problem if i install DDLC1 based custom rom in my Galaxy y ? ) ,
2.Backup that original Rom
3.if i brick it , what will i do then ?
Please help me out.

1. Search optional custom rom with ics style in developer section. I dont know wheres the perfect and no bugs.
2. Find temporary cwm recovery (zip file) from madteam/skin1980 and use via recovery mode select backup.
3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800 to solve all softbrick problem
Ps. Please read (all u must know thread)-ronnie or (guide dummies)-carl in general section to get usefull information

you can use creeds 2.0 for ICS look and maybe creeds 3.0 and 3.5 for Galaxy S3 look...

U can use the ICS Fusion v2.0 Rom it is a very cool Rom u can get an ultimate ICS experience on your Galaxy Y

my main problem was "can i install any of custom rom in my DDLE1 , will it be a problem ??"

(Q) How to make a port rom boot?

I've almost frustation about my project. I try to port another rom to Galaxy Y, when i trying to flash it, my device always not boot. I've do it in the right way, but still it's so. Help me please can you tell me how to make it boot?

you have to copy some lib file's did u do it

Check again the the guides copy which libs are needed use proper base....

[Q] Can galaxy y duos(GT-S6102) install the ROMs of galaxy y?

My friend just got a problem of her galaxy y duos,I am searching for the ROM of it,but lots of the custom ROM of it are not good(e.g.Can't link with the sd card,etc.)Can any one give me a nice rom or help me for answering whether it can install the ROM of galaxy y?

Yes u can install if the kernel in that supports ur devece... but the only thing is ur sims won't work lol
My friend had installed creeds rom on his duos a few weeks ago and came to me for repair..

You cant.. many things wont work.. Dont try it.. If you wish to use the phone as paper weight.. then go ahead..
And duos custom roms are good.. there is no such issues of sdcard linking apps is what you said i believe.. Do read this for that..

If you are returning it once you have installed stock rom you will need to unroot your phone

Yes, all done , thanks for that.
Ballache finding 02 rom though. It was in one file and had to split it into 3 , csc,phone,modem or whatever they were . Did it in the end though.
