Hello there
First of all my general information:
mako 16 gb
paranoid android rom 3.0 from 21st of february
I tried to flash a new ROM today after i noticed that my N4 reboots everytime when slimport is plugged in. So i wanted to flash via Root tools and CWM. Ive downloaded the xeno rom, gapps and trinit kernel. Then i wanted to copy these files to !Ready to flash via Root tools ,but only the kernel was sent. Now i tried to send the files manually but the same problem: only the kernel was sent.
Ive also noticed that fromat data and wipe system cant be done in twrp. Is my storage or USB broken or do you have a clou which weird thing is going on with my phone?

If you can get into recovery mode, maybe try using Aroma File Manager to delete the offensive files
Do you had abyss and custom rom or custom kernel downloads in your memory?
If not. You can download custom rom and abyss in your pc and put in your device and use abyss to wipe data, cache, and dalvik and flash the custom rom. This is possible only if you can syc with pc.
I read someone said that if stuck in bootloop just push the home button to boot up.
solved !!!!
Oh my my
it was a USB chord problem why the phone was not recognised, somehow the first chord got totally unrecognised by the phone and also my SDD card got corrrupteddd.
THANKS FORUM FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Hi,
This morning I rooted my Nexus 7 using NRT. All went fine. After little searching I found the JROMFlasher posted on this website and found it very interesting. I downloaded the SmoothRom v3.1 as well. Went through all the procedures of the JROMFlasher 1 by 1. At the end when I uploaded the ROM onto my device it did not show up on my clockworkmod recovery mod --> install zip from sdcard.
Now I'm stuck without no ROM as my nexus' storage doesn't mount and I have no way of putting a new ROM on it.
I know i've gone wrong somewhere, so please help.
Regards
Amir
Hello,
Basically, I installed a custom ROM about 6 months ago but the performance was suffering so I decided to make the move (or attempt to!) to cyanogenmod nightlies.
I wiped the data/factory reset the device so there is no longer a ROM on it, but when I tried to install CM 11 which I placed on the SD card prior to wiping I get an error: set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed - reading online this seems to be because my CWM is out of date.
How do I go about updating CWM without a ROM on the phone? Is there a way to transfer files to the device? under mounts and storage I don't see an option for USB in CWM
Thanks,
Kev

Hi!
Basically every time I got OTA update notification, I installed it from PC since there could be some problems with OTA. But today I had a busy day and totally forgot to do that, so I just accepted the OTA update. Now the only screen I have access to is Philz Recovery. I've tried sideload, adb pushing ROM onto sdcard and installing it from there and using download mode (doesn't work at all) and I have no idea what else can I do. One more thing I noticed is that /system/ partition keeps unmounting after reboot and sideloading.
Is there anyone that can help me?
Reflash stock ROM
sent from my T-Mobile LG-VS980
I can't access Download Mode, it boots straight into recovery.
get a usb otg cable and put a rom on on a flash drive (or micro sd card with reader), then connect the usb otg cable and boot to recovery then flash the rom. Also try to wipe cache/davlik and see if that helps
Which option in Philz should I choose to find the ROM on pendrive?
Hi,
I was running MAKO L Preview 9002 version and I wanted to change the version, so I download a new ROM and then to Recovery (MultiROM TWRP) and wiped all data and then tried flashing, but got an error.
In haste, I did a complete format and lost even the existing flash zip. I am able to boot into recovery but all data is lost and not able to flash. Please help as I have download a new zip, but am unable to transfer it to the phone as it is not being recognized by the computer.
Please help!!

Lots of ways. you can push files through adb, mount your phone storage in recovery or just flash stock images through adb.
Go into recovery and try adb push rom.zip /sdcard/ from the computer. Must have adb installed.
I'm pretty sure Twrp has an option to mount the sdcard to your computer as usb storage as well.
Finally, keep in mind you can always go back to stock with Google factory images.
