The first one is the official slimport adapter used in adverts, while the second one looks like a third party made version of the slimport. Function you will need to search for reviews on them.

Yup the first one is the real one but those prices are outrageous
This is what it should look like.

Padphone

Has anyone tried it yet?
I heard that the keyboard from the original Transformer is compatible
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
I highly doubt the OG's keyboard is compatible, but I want one so bad. Fat chance of that though XDXD
I saw a video where the person in the video took the padfone tablet dock and put it in the original transformer dock and it worked just fine. Then she put the transformer in the padfone keyboard dock to show that it worked both ways.
Seems like forward thinking. They'll probably use different color schemes.

It will detect and do it on setup. Mine did anyway. I have Comcast and it ask about on setup. Try adding room and trying setup again or wiping data/cache then try. I love this application I keep finding my self shutting off TVs everywhere lol. Everything from McDonald's menus to TVs at wall mart lol good luck

I messed with WatchOn for a couple of weeks when I first got my phone. But I'm kind of over it now. The functions on the phone to control the device are just not adequate. Like an overly simple $3 remote from WalMart or something. They could have put so much more functionality in there. All I can figure is Samsung wants to do some data mining on what you are watching, but they're going to have to build a better product to get me to use it anymore.
If you want a fully-featured remote app, I've heard good things about the Smart Remote for Galaxy S4 app.

I use the n7 mainly for browsing the net and some minor games. The n7 is only two inches bigger, but it feels and look much bigger than that. I also have the ipad3, but it's getting a bit uncomfortable and heavy for my taste, so this 7" tablet is just the right size for me.

The "2 inch bigger" tablet have over 2X the screen size of the GS4 (N7 22.08 inch^2 vs GS4 10.68 in^2) , It provide substantially better content consumption(Video playback/Ebook +Comic Reading) experience and web broswing. I can even comfortably read/edit Word/Excel with Kingsoft Office on it.
Not to mention the Super Bright LCD screen (538nits, GS4's AMOLED can't dream to match) & Stereo speakers.
I have the s4 rooted and an considering getting the n7 as well. Quick question. I haven't found the answer yet but is the memory expandable?

I have a S4 and bought an Nexus 7 mainly because i want to read PDF and Word documents. S4's screen is to small to do this. But with 7 inch and FHD it is good enough to read letter/DIN A4 docs.Screen resolution does matter to me, so an Galaxy Note 8 or 10 was no real alternative. But I would have taken a Nexus 8 as well
I have both, definitely worth it for Web Surfing and video.

Please do not compare Galaxy S4 with nexus 7!! doesnt make any sense dude,,, i own both devices, think about, S4 is your mobile phone, so you are using for making calls, text, and web browsing! usually dont even last all day, need to get charge, where nexus 7 coming in and you using it for watching cheeky videos and playing games!
Thank you guys. Now I know what to do
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda premium
I've got both too. At first I thought why do I need it S4 does most things well. But at this price I couldn't complain. Been using it since yesterday and barely touched my phone. The bigger screen is better for browsing and such. Playing games is better to with a bigger screen. Watching videos too. So far I like it.

One is a phone the other is a tablet. Two totally different devices.

I can go two days without charging my evo 3d now I have my tablet.
I own both as well, both currently running SlimBean ROM, which is very nice having the interface be the same across platforms, as well as being rid of the hot mess that I'd touch wiz. Well with it in my opinion to have both, even if both running stock ROM.

I have both. For me the N7 is an at-home device, whereas the S4 is an on-the-go (outside the house) device.

Really? I found them quite adaptive. Especially since you can customize the layout of each individual button. The position of it on the screen and 5 different sizes for each button. Even the HUD map on the screen is customizable. I definitely couldn't rock the default controls on GTA 3 and Vice city for mobile. So I suggest you go into the settings

Haha for sure. Also in Vice City mobile you could boost performance and graphics/ draw distance. I'm not certain if you can on gta3 mobile, but you should check it out in the settings. Might be under "display". I don't have a nexus 5 yet, I'd imagine it would look very nice.

The Pocket isn't great, the Pro is good.
So I may pickup a moga pro just for this Badboy. I've been on the fence about it for a while now and this is definitely a game I would invest a controller for.

Same here. The new Moga Power series looks really good. They made it better than the v1 and it now can charge your phone while you play.
Ok that's cool I didn't know there was a new version. But I already have a ps3 controller so no point in buying something else. Unless there was something that attached to the phone like a slide case like the iphone one. Then that would be worth buying (except for iphone it costs 100 dollars id only buy it if it was at most 1/3 of that lol )
Amazon version is out now!! At least for the UK. I'm not going to purchase it from there though, I'm waiting for the Google play version.

Does Samsung Gear VR work with Nexus 6p?

Anybody have it and use their 6p on it? What do you think?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
How could it work?...
You realize the Gear VR has a MicroUSB connector right?
The micro USB doesn't even matter. Plenty other phones have that and they don't work. It's Samsung only. Maybe one day though. The gear s devices now work so there's hope.
Didn't even know, thanks guys! I won one in a contest and just wanted to make sure before I sell it.
