Another question. How do I determine if my galaxy y is on Ext4 or if it is still in RFS?

U would need a kernel that supports it like merruk kernel

Well guys I was checking the build.prop file of cm 7 and compared it to build.prop of a regular 2.3.6, ROM
so are we actually developing 2.3.7 our are we reverting to 2.3.4?? Because cm7's build.prop suggests we are downgrading our phone

one is from cm7 and other is from extreme poison v4

it is the display id which can be changed..
you can change
ro.build.version.release=2.3.6 to any desired value
but build decription should be 2.3.7 if it is actually 2.3.7 Gingerbread.. i guess we should ask whitexp for this

if you are using your brain then you couldn't make a thread like this
i think the build.prop used by our cm7 was modified to fit it on our phone since there is no official cm7 on it.. remember that we have only PORTED cm not a perfect cm..

You CAN'T, at least on the S5360
As far as I know you can't use firmwares directly from samfirmware . If you want stock ROM to flash look in development section for sir docky's thread. You will find them

I have a Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102 with a stock rom, rooted
I active a fonction of Signal appel (*43#)
when I talk with someone , his phone tell him that I am talking (message of waiting call)
but I don't receive any message or bip (I don't receive any thing tell me that a 2nd call comming for me)
So I can't answer for the 2nd Call when I am talking.
I need help from you XDA members and thank you very much

Yeah , I install now Compact Kernal (Current/latest version: Compact V 1.2.6)
I am talking normally with the 1st call, but when some one call me in the same time he see that I am in waiting , but I didn't see any message or any bip that I have a 2nd call !!
I don't know then try another kernel

I find the problem finally , but I lose everything in my phone
the problem was in my ROM , because the probleme still exist , I wipe all data and cach , reflash a stock kernal , unroot the phone , but the problem is the same.
So,
I reflash a Stock ROM now by Odin , and the problem is disappeared now

I have a Samsung Galaxy GT-S5369, also knows as Y / young, and Im pretty sure the GT-S5360 also called as young.
My question is, can i put a S5360 Rom, on a S5369 Rom?
if not, can you tell me where I can find roms for this specific phone? no threads about him here in XDA.

they don't even know how to install cm9 with white's kernel 1.3.3 and they say they can install adreno200, which is not even existing in our galaxy y!!

Well some days ago i was reading a post here in xda that can one play gta vice city on galaxy y or not so a guy has replied that ofcourse u can open the screws of ur device taje the arm v6 out and put in arm v7 chip with glue then put the parts together and your phone is ready to play vice city... Smething here also just take out the videocore 4 and put in adreno 200 with glue....
