Hey guys!
[THEME] Jelly Bean Theme [22.02.2013][V2.6][TouchWiz 5.0 Theme][ LG UI 3.0 Theme]
On the link above is the Theme thread of sir marinalin85's about Jelly bean, LG, Xperia, Touchwiz 5.0, etc..
i was going to flash this to STOCK ROM but i removed some .apk's in the zip, those are :
* cod-res.apk
after flashing the .zip file, my perfectly reboot and show the home screen, but the only thing i encountered is the STATUSBAR ( we'll it's hidden )
i don't know what the error cause.
Please guys provide me a good installation procedure about installing these theme on STOCK ROM.
i appreciate it.
Thanks!
rmhoh
Just put back cod-res.apk its needed for the sysytemui.apk to work
Cause The SystemUI.apk is modded and connected to the cod-res.apk in order to work
Thanks! It worked ! another thing ...
On the settings, when i press the PERFORMANCE and STATUS BAR, it gives me settings.apk FC's.
How to fix it ?
Thanks!

No lidroid-parts.apk for status bar in Stock ROM. And I don't think this theme is supposed for stock.
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
The framework is different between stock and custom roms
Stock rom has everything in framework-res
Custom roms have a modded framework and separate - res.apk for each part of status bar & settings
For this mod to work correctly you need to be on a custom rom that supports it

I have not tried your deodexed rom, so I am not sure it has the same result. Thanks for posting this!

DISCONTINUED. New updates on this THREAD
Hello!
I'm parasmi from the Galaxy Mini Forum.
Just want to share this mod to the Galaxy Ace users
This mod adds customization to statusbar clock, battery, and signal. It also includes Battery Bar and will enable you to change statusbar background color and transparency (needs root access). It's accessible via Setings > Statusbar Tweaks
I don't have an Ace but I tested it on my phone using your DDKQ8 firmware. No guarantee in will work on other firmwares.
As always, flash at your own risk! Backup is a must!
Credits:
RomanBB for Statusbar Tweaks sources
pvyParts for additional Statusbar Tweaks sources and Battery Bar
Screenshots (taken from my ROM) HERE and HERE
@ROM cooks - if you will use this in your ROM, please give proper credit and add a link to this post.
Enjoy!
Installation notes:
-Again, your firmware should be DDKQ8
-You should know if you have an odex or de-odex firmware
-You only need to install 1 zip file from the attachment. It will depend if you are using CWM or Stock Recovery AND if you have an odex or de-odex system
If the zip file doesn't work, try manual installation -
1. Extract the contents of the appropriate zip file
2. Using Root Explorer, copy the extracted APKs to your phone's /system/app/ folder. Override files if prompted
3. Set permissions as attached
4. Reboot
5. To use custom fonts, create a folder /system/TEAM/font/ and place any font file a rename it to 'clock_font.ttf'. Set permissions as attached
Reserve just in case
hey
im uisng ddkq8 on ace and the 3 rd app from your list does not install via cm 5.some advise?

Flashing via CWM....mount system e data....working good...no problem !!!!
Great job bro !!!!
Thanks.
does this have the battery bar like honey comb ???
I use Lovetz's Odexed CyanogenMod 7.2-cooper-KANG-RC1-Android 2.3.7 on DDKQ8, and installed this in a hurry (cause I've been hungering for transparent status bar for a long time). But after reboot, I lost settings option from the menu. As you adviced, I used odex patch and its an odexed Rom over DDKQ8 base, so whats wrong? Its not for CM7?
Hey Guys, I personally am a fan of Stock ROM because of its perfection. And I also like Custom ROMs because of their Beauty of Jelly Bean and ICS.
But what I really like in Custom ROMs is the STATUS BAR. I want to have best of both worlds.
I want STOCK ROM with Status Bar of Custom ROMs. I tried swapping SystemUI.apk but I end up in a force close always.
I wanna know how I can do that? I am on deodexed stock rom.
Please tell me how i can have custom rom status bar (with 14 toggles and swipe to remove notifications) without force close on stock rom? what files need to be modded?
P.S. - I will not upload anybody's awesome work and claim it to be mine, I just want it for my personal use.

Well there is no simple procedure for it ...
Ye switching system UI idea didn't work because
Things like quick pannel bar bg, battery icon etc etc all r in system UI itself in stock rom.. but on many roms like jbv3 h8 etc they r in framework res (need I explain more)
So u just have to see around on xda and learn more
Well if u don't mind getting ur phone bricked or a bit messed up a few times here is a trial and error method
Try replacing framework-Res.apk, lidroid parts, apk and system UI.apk of a custom rom in stock rom
Well to get some more idea about this rom mixing stuff
see this thread of mine .... u will get some idea
Do wat I said on your own risk I have never done this on stock rom...

Hmm, I knew I ha d to change more than one file. I really don't want to change my Framework-res apk, thats what i like in the stock rom, Yeah I have been bricking my phone alot for the status bar. So, I'm ready to hit and trial. Thanks for reply +1
The SystemUI.apk of custom roms won't work on stock because they are signed by a different signature, because of the edits made in AndroidManifest.xml. However, there are many guides on how to theme your own stock system ui to install more toggles, etc. Search in the Themes & Apps sub-section.

Than no app can work for you becuase gmd's hide soft key does not modify any thing in system and build prop
let me know which rom u r using right now
btw did you tried fullscreen app in playstore it creates its own systemui bar so that you can recieve incoming call etc
yeah, I've tried any possible apps to hide the navbar in stock ROM without removing the statusbar, but no luck.
Currently I'm on CM 10.1.2, using expanded desktop feature.
I'm trying to get some samsung stock apps for CM10 too!
Hello, actually Stock Jelly Bean 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 would crash when you add the line to system/build.prop
I'm currently using JB 4.2.2 in this thread and the qemu.hq.mainkeys tweak worked :fingers-crossed:
But that's just on P3110, because I don't own the the others
Hi guys i am fairly new here so i can nott ask the question on the relevant dev thread
i recently installed the: [ROM][CM7.2][RC4] Reincarnation Rom Series v.5 | Touchwiz Nature UX Edition [20/03/2014] onto my galaxy y
i would like to know if it is possible to install a CM7 theme straight on top of this ?
i really have no idea and i would appreciate some guidance
cheers BZ
you can install any theme chooser theme (most ldpi/mdpi themes will work - dont try hdpi only themes or higher)
there are loads on xda and the google playstore
just install and then apply the theme with the theme chooser app that already comes with cm7
Thank you Marcus for your help and fast response
i appreciate it
After having a look through the app drawer and the settings it would seem that i have no theme chooser in this Rom
unless it is hidden somewhere or has been removed for stability maybe, i really don't know :/
any ideas are appreciated

some custom roms may remove it or hide it from launcher and place it in rom settings instead
look in system/app with a root browser
you should have
ThemeChooser.apk
ThemeManager.apk
if not you can try installing them with system app installer (playstore) or push to system and set permissions to rw-r-r and restart
iv included them in the attachment
if they dont install you will have to change to bieltv cm7 and not use port or custom versions
Thank you again m8
if it wasn't for your guidance i'd be lost completely
much appreciated
they were not installed
so i followed what you said and installed them, and now i can easily change the themes, yay
thank you again m8 for your help and and knowledge :good:
