I have a rooted atrix already so this is pointless to me. but could be helpful to others. I have tried some of the automatic rooting programs and apps but failed miserably. so had to do it the old fashion way!!
but i came across this and it looks very promising.
http://www.xda-developers.com/andro...-anything-try-doomlords-easy-rooting-toolkit/
has worked on other motorola devices. so who knows. could be a timesaver!
As if the one click root option we have already is too long a process?

Given that this is a free game, there shouldn't be a problem with me posting a link to the apk right?
Try this:
http://narod.ru/disk/40923984001/The_Sims_FreePlay_v1.0.24.apk.html
http://narod.ru/disk/40842173001/com.ea.games.simsfreeplay_row.rar.html (sd data goes under /sdcard/Android/data)
I would try it myself to tell you if it works or not, but I don't like keeping games that require an Internet connection because most of the time, I don't have one, so the games force close on me
You know that there is no such for for our o1 ....and becouse it's free to play ...no one will port such game .
But it would be nice if some one did...i wish someone ported it.Its a great game...

You guys have been doing really good with developing ROMs and all but, how come you guys haven't considered working on Kexec? Considering that is our only current idea for a bootloader bypass.
If any of you guys agree, then post here and share some ideas.
Might be because there is a way to unlock your phones bootloader. Either via Sony's unlock website or through alejandrossimo for $24. But yeah. I think I saw a thread as a wip for kexec.

That dude gave up. Everyone knows it. The devs could get that complete in days, or a week or two. With how talented most of them are, it can be done. The opportunity of Kexec has been there. Why haven't they been working on it?
I think it won't, why?
We can't read/write to the boot partition when booting. And most devs have a unlocked r800i

That's easy to say. I haven't been working on it Cuz i don't care. You seem to care quite a bit. Apparently more so than any of the developers here. So I would suggest learning and doing it yourself.

It doesn't interest me.
No developer could code before they learned how to. And chances are they learned because they wanted to help themselves instead of relying on others.
This needs popcorn.
Just learn it.

Let's not start a flame war, guys. Kexec isn't as necessary for us as it is for Motorola devices because we actually do have a method for unlocking. Sure, for quite a few of us it actually costs money, but we still have a method. If we didn't, someone would have figured out a way around, but since they didn't need to...
Please produce games devs can someone send me a quote for a simple avoid/collect 2D one screen game with local and internet high score table, I will produce the pixel art. No need for optimization if it's difficult.

As with most things that have to do with modifying your device, yes; there is a chance you can brick it. Although, if you read everything thoroughly and follow instructions closely, you should be fine.

alright thanks hank hill lol your picture :good:
Also, as long as you use some common sense (like not pulling out the battery when the bootloader is flashing PD15IMG), you should be fine.

Also, even if you follow all the steps straightly, you have a chance (minimal) of getting your phone bricked.
Actually, you can have it bricked even if you do nothing (i mean just normal use without downgrading and rooting it). This is very rare but in two months with my my touch4g I did see it a couple times.
