HELP!
'Hey #Guys!
I have a huge problemĀ° I cant send SMS aanymore...
What could that be?!*
Recieving works like a charm, only sending fails?!
I am on o2 in Germany... ServiceCenter-Number is correct.. and the +49 doens't work neither nor!
I have the same issue. However I am in the US on AT&T. The problem seems to be related to replying. When I reply it appends a zero to the beginning of the number. If I type in the number manually, it works fine.

I understand... I am just wondering why it worked the other day! Then I had a freeze, I put out the battery and wooza sudenly my sd card was kinda formatted... only a readme file was left... I installed everything the same on the same way I did before my phone crashed... same build and everything,, but now it ain't working anymore... Is there any app to send sms anyways? In
I did a bit more investigation. I think replying to an SMS is putting a 0 where the + should be so instead of +1214-345-6789 it's trying to reply to 0214-345-6789
AT&T is choking on the zero.
See my setup below and see if you're running something similar.
BTW, it works fine in WinMo.
I got the same problem, anyone solved this? Im in desperate help please, i cant send sms anymore,,,
Any help? Please

this is the last time I will ask for help here in this thread before I create a new thread....(SELF CLAIMED SEARCH POLICE BETTER SHUT THEIR MOUTHS)
Anyone, help me?
Same Problem here, are you Using HTC-Sense? I've tried the 001 Fix but that just fixes the calls, and I think its gets rid of the + in replying in sms, as I get message saying failed cant send numbers to 44, as its needs the "+"44 to reply.
the only work around is to compose a new sms, but its longer way to reply, but it works.
I can't even send new sms.....but making phone calls is working for me...
I'm using desire hd build..

hi there i dont know if im in the right section but i need your help. my gf is in uk now and she had put her o2 number to her htc wildfire. the problem is everytime i sent her an sms she has to compose an new sms instead of replying me because everytime she reply's me it says " message not sent" and the problem is id does this only if i sent her an sms. if i sent from an other phone it works fine. i told her to put her SIM card to an other phone an put an other number to the htc and i sent an sms to both numbers just to see if its the SIM fault or the phone and both numbers worked fine :S
the problem is only when she puts o2 number back to the htc. i search all over the web and i even try the tutorial about the Handcent SMS and still no luck. is there something else i must do?
Same thing happens when my girlfriends mother texts her, they are both on o2 but the opposite way round, my girl has a wildfire and her mother a really old Samsung. Her mum cannot reply to messages from my girlfriends wildfire but can send them back if she starts a new message, I thought it was just a one off bug in her mums phone till I read this. Maybe its a bug in o2's system.
Dunno how to fix it though sorry.

oh ok no worries . cheers
Hi guys, I tried my network provider and they are useless so I thought I'd ask the experts, you guys
I have recently been told that sms are limited to 480 characters per text and after that the phone not 3 automatically converts the sms to mms and so I will be charged, and this has happened.
1 of the 3 customer service 'experts' told me to download 1 of 2 apps or both to correct this ( handcent and sendsms pro) but I can only find chinese and korean versions.
Sorry this is do long winded, I looked in the message options and I'm able to increase the maximum text size so changed to from 150 I think it was to 1000 but the bloke at 3 doesn't know or the indian bloke didn't understand me and still told me to download an app to stop the sms to mms convert.
Put simply, How do I send an unlimited sized sms and avoid being charged as I have a 5000 sms allowance?....... This seems a ridiculous problem with stupid fixes, I am however willing to trust you guys, I believe you people DO know what your talking about
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App having given up ringing 3!
See this thread for a solution without using a 3rd party application: [MOD][GUIDE] Mms.apk with Sent time/"Unlimited" Contacts adding//No MMS Convert.
I checked the thread, it's far to confusing, would someone please reply to post I made on the link I have kindly been provided with, thanks in advance... . I'm so stressed out

How is it confusing?
You're not a developer. There are 2 installation guides for "Users".
One via Root Explorer if you have purchased the APP, and one via CWM if you have a rooted phone.
What is difficult about this? Are you not rooted?
Yes I am rooted, oxided (correct spelling?) Deoxided? What apk do I need? There were loads of different downloads in that link.

Why you need a app like that? You can send a message to your own number. You will directly receive it. If you still want one contact me I am a developer
****Hit thanks again for that helped you ****
