try changing your density from 170,180,190.....240 and check which fits the screen best
You shouldn't really change the density on Sense builds as the graphics aren't built with multiple resolutions. You can't actually fix the issue you have unfortunately as the image is just not meant for that resolution.
change the drag style to the default.... currently u r on the rotatory one .. im running cm7 american android with 140 lcd density... works awsm..on hd2
So I have been using Root Explorer to adjust my LCD Density but recently my adjustments haven't been taking affect. After making a change to the build.prop, I reboot my phone. No change has taken affect. I can go back in to the build.prop file and verify I have changed the value. Even when I use the LCD Density app it shows that my LCD density is 190 (screen resolution really isn't 190). I then set the density with the app and the resolution finally is at 190. Anybody else having this issue? I just hate having to readjust the LCD density after every reboot.
Thanks

Go into settings (LCD Density app) and set it to "Save as System density" then apply and then click the test button
I had changed my lcd density to 380 to get a better looking screen, but I noticed my camera was all messed up.
So I put my density back to 480, and now I am unable to download a lot of common apps from the play store!
For example...Weather Bug, Candy Crush, etc....
I am on T-Mobile variant.
I only changed this line in the build prop: ro.sf.lcd_density=480
Am I forgetting to do something else?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Well first of all, use the textdroider_dpi app to change the dpi instead of changing the prop file.
I believe that's the proper method as some other files are affected together. Experts correct me if I'm wrong.
And when the camera screws up, install Xposed and use the module "App settings" to change the dpi of only camera to stock. That will do the trick.
Clear data etc from market and try again.

Does anyone if changing the dpi would make my phone run a hotter....I really like using 320 dpi on G2.....is there any other possible fix besides changing it back to normal dpi setting ....
Hello everyone,
considering the phone has two screen I was wondering if it was possible to change the DPI on the main screen (AMOLED) without affecting the eInk screen ?
Thank you

Yes. I am using Yotaphone 2 (YD201) with 440 dpi and it's really OK.
I think it doesn't change the eink display.
You can do changes using build.prop file in LCD_DENSITY parametr.
Regards!

Have you experienced any problems with vibration as after changing to 440 it was replaced with a strange sound (in some applications). Changing to 420 reverted the vibration back.
Also, hopefully someone will find it useful, changing the DPI (checked at 420) makes screen tapping incredibly sensitive which makes tapping a headache. Fortunately, it's reproducible only when the device is connected via USB (I used the same cable as when changing the DPI via adb)..
Another issue is that all avatars and received through viber images now look as the attached picture.. I've already sent an email to viber asking for help. So, fingers crossed.
