I noticed that my ear speaker buzzing level changes with last three roms I installed and guess what? On CodefireX is practically all gone. Anybody is willing to confirm this or am I crazy?
Is this the buzzing while on a call, or while NOT on a call? Please specify.

Since I have had my Touch HD (T8282), the earpiece speaker makes a "scratching" noise randomly during calls. If i press the speaker harder against my ear it can sometime fix the noise.
I dont get the noise from attached headphones or bluetooth headset during a call so its not the incoming signal.
Should i bother getting it warranty repaired? Is anyone else getting this?
you can try to put off the audiobooster.. dunno if that might help or not.
well i also have the same problem, and audio booster isn't the problem, because i used a lot of romz last months and the audio booster is on and off, but noise keeps coming...

I got my Google Nexus 4 yesterday. Today, when I was making call, I noticed mild buzzing noise from the phone speaker. I thought it was due to the call, but i could hear it even when I was not in a call. I then rebooted the phone, the mild buzzing sound was still there.
The noise does not seem to be there when the phone screen is locked, but as I press the power button, I can hear the noise.
I don't hear the noise in the headphones though. I was not charging the phone when I heard the noise.
Does anybody else have this issue?
I have this too. It's a low buzzing sound coming from the ear speaker even when the phone is on lock.

Only had the case a couple of days, but whenever I make a call, or answer one, there is a very loud electronic buzzing coming from the ear piece.
This is with the S View attached.
Any ideas?
For the last 2 months I heard a buzzing noise from the speaker when I talked with my phone. I think buzzings comes from carrier or a software glitch. Yesterday after installing the Turbo GT-X6 rom buzzing was gone. after the dolby-atmos settings, the buzzing just came back. When I turn off Dolby, the buzzing is gone. Now when I listen to a music, the buzzing becomes extremely audible when Dolby is open. I think there's something wrong with your speaker or some part of speaker. Do you have any idea about the solution? I live in turkey and servise is not really a option for me. There is no customer service and shipping also is not an option because of custom policys. Please help me
Hey guys! As I've updated my phone to Oreo (Jan) as soon as I got it, I don't know if this was an issue with Nougat, too, but the thing is that I'm getting distortion during calls. I would go for a faulty speaker, but sometimes sound is perfect, sometimes distorted, receiver test gives me perfectly clear sound, and sometimes only signal that it's ringing on the "other side" is distorted, but as soon as the other person answers voice is clear. This doesn't happen on loudspeaker or 3.5mm jack, though.
Any ideas what's the issue here?
