I'm using wugfresh unlockand root and nexus 7 is stuck in bootloader. Computer says... Waiting for your device to finish booting back up and its been 10 minutes. Thanks

since you are using a root toolkit for a nexus, you should ask in that thread for help. nexus devices dont need root toolkits, and are safer and just as easy(if not easier) without them.
Nevermind success!! First time with nexus device.

So,
I have Nexus 7 16gb (grouper) and the problem is that it can not recognize the usb(as I guess)
It doesn't charge when powered on. I should turn it off and connect the charger and i charges .
The PC doesn't recognize it . (both Linux Ubuntu 12.10(with necessary rules) and Windows 7)
OTG doesn't work.
The adb does not recognize it.
When in bootloader adb doesn't recognize it. (so i can't flash anything)
I am on stock 4.2.1 JOP40D with CWM and M-KERNEL a32.
Tried wiping everything(leaved only system) and the same result.
It happened after I charged it with car charger.
BTW in bootloader menu it shows:
Baseband Version : N/A
Help me please!
So it does charge when off?

Hmm. There's an app on play store flash image GUI. Not sure if you can lock boot loader with that, but you will need to either stock and relock or get it to not charge at all. Then you can RMA the thing

Thanks!
I thought about flashing again bootloader via CWM
Is that a good idea?
What RMA means?
If happened to me I would try a ROM with stock kernel first
ADB is only for Android OS... You need to use fastboot instead while in bootloader.

RMA is sending it in to get fixed

If adb doesn't see it fast boot probably won't either

The interesting thing I discovered now is that I can use OTG with stick mount app
And even I can charge my s3 with otg but I get a reboot

Did you manually install the drivers? You need to.

Download the SDK, unzip, navigate to your-sdk-folder/platform-tools/ with the terminal.
Type:
./adb reboot bootloader
./fastboot oem unlock
Done

I'm having the same problem please let me know if you find an answer. I'm Windows 8 add well

It may have something to do with the adb win.inf file. I'm on windows 8 also

Every guide I look at only supports up to 4.2.1 or how can I change back to 4.2.1?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Use nexus 7 toolkit
Select 4.2.1 as software not updated but it will still work
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
same procedure as before
Can't be more simple than what I posted. Works for every android version.
