Hi,
I noticed 2 issues in 4.2.2 :
With paranoid android 3.0 I can pair and connect my BT headphones but sounds become crazy after 20sec every time
-> apparently it's a known issue with ROM messing with 4.2.1 and 4.2.2
I tried also Xylon 2.1 with clean install from xylon 18 and now impossible to even turn the BT on.
Every time I try the button flicker and goes back to off
->Anyone have seen this?

Having the Same issues with My BT as well with my JVC in my car.. I have to reboot the nexus then its fine... but the bluetooth will turn off on its own.
I did notice that there is no BT issue when Wifi is off..
Same for me. N7 can't find and can't be found with my other device (One X). It's been asked in the original PA thread at least twice but no reply. I'll try ask again as this is my 10th post and I can finally post in developer section yay! :victory:
I´ve installed todays nightly I can´t enable my bluetooth too.

I came Across a problem the last few week that the control on the headset doesn't work, some times they do work for a minute or two and than stop again.
Did anyone else encountered this problem?
Did someone managed to fix it?
I removed the buttons and it all seems fine, clean it a bit with high pressured air, but nothing.
I've had similar probs with Bluetooth buttons (including the car dock). I thought it may be related to CM6, since my probs started about the same time...
What ROM are you running?

Hello all,
Something funny happened today with my Atrix today in that bluetooth just stopped working. Seems like the entire stack is corrupted. In using Extended Controls, the bluetooth widget is in permanent half green colour. Settings will try to turn on, but no luck. Reboot does nothing.
Using stock AT&T, which is unlocked and rooted.
Any ideas?
Regards.

Having the same issue here. Reboot fix it temporarily (for one time use only). Can't find any related thread...
Issue resolved after update
Ok. Good to know. Will update after upgrading.
Thanks.

Flashed with Gingerblur on 1.57, now bluetooth stopped working again.
Well this is an interesting issue that crept up on me a few days ago. If I go to switch on my Bluetooth, the switch will move to on position but the Bluetooth will remain off. Reboot does nothing.
So after poking around here and there I noticed in tibackup that Bluetooth share 4.2.2 is uninstalled. As soon as I restore it, Bluetooth works again. However somehow it keeps uninstalling itself and I need to repeat the process again before it lets me switch on Bluetooth. I can't figure out the cause of this problem and how it's u installing on its own. Any help and guidance would be appreciated! Thanks
Well I've found that the Bluetooth share uninstalls after a reboot. What is causing this? Permissions issue? Anyone?

Not sure what's causing your issue. More info would help. Such as what ROM you are using if any etc

I'm stock and rooted with an extended power menu mod.
I might have found to problem, still testing. There was an update to that Bluetooth app that I uninstalled and it seems to be working now.
If I don't encounter the problem for a few more days I'll call it solved Lol.

Nexus 4 8GB.
Slimport used to work fine.
Stopped working after update to 4.3 (stock) and rooting. No roms installed, only rooted.
When I connect the slimport dongle, it is not detected by the phone, that continues to send audio through the phone speaker, instead of sending it to the hdmi. The TV doesn't detect anything connected either.
Tested the cables with another device and they're still good, what changed is the phone.
Ideas?
Slimport still works here with improvements such has auto rotate is now supported and it is much smoother, the only issue is on YouTube when you watch a video there will be a blue block graphical glitch.
It is strange, did you try rebooting?

I tried rebooting several times. I'm thinking about unrooting to see if that will fix it.

Ok, if that fails then try wiping the dalvik cache.
If that also fails then a reflash is the last option for now until you reach the point that it fails as well.

What option is it under? I have had a look and can't find anything. Thanks
Are you guys on stock 4.3?
Because, when i'm using slimport with my n4 with hdmi on my tft and disconnect it after using it, my n4 will freeze after several minutes after. Mainly when the n4 is going to sleep.

Yes I'm on stock 4.3. Slimport was working fine until the update, now I get no response at-all. Hope there is a fix as it wasn't cheap.

(sorry for double post, but I must use this solution)
Hi,
I didn't found any solution or working ROM/Kernel/Radio so maybe someone will point me to any direction except going back to 4.3
Like many users I have problems while listening music by my bluetooth headset. I have random disconnections while listening to audiobooks and calls. While listening to music it's usually random I can listen for 20-30 minutes nothing happens and sometimes it will disconnect after 5 and only reboot will fix the issue. Second problem is disconnect while calling. I have disconnections and reconnection's every 5 to 30 seconds. It's also random. Sometimes it works - usually it doesn't.
I'm using right now AOKP ROM but according to @aalvico post that problem exists also on Slim/PA/Purity and not on Omni and XeonHD.
Changing radio didn't solve issue. I tried AOKP/Franco/Hells Kernel. Same issue.
I started to experience this issue on KVT49L build.
So final question is - do any one knows 4.4/4.4.2 ROM that doesn't have this issue (meaning someone fixed it)?
I didn't had stock 4.4.2 yet, any one knows is the issue present there also?
This issue is so annoying that I would even go to stock to get rid of it.
Well, I'm using the nexus 5 port (KOT49H) with matrix 13.5 kernel and v4a and I never experienced problems like that, neither did I on previous builds.

Thanks for reply. Could you give me more details what Rom you are using? I changed from AOKP 4.3 directly to 4.4.2 so I missed a lot nightly builds to catch this issue earlier. I don't really expect much of the rom except battery, I used AOKP ROM since second day I had my N4 so I don't really know how other roms/stock rom perform or what features I have in AOKP that I would not have in other (I needed ROM with quick pin unlock feature because of Exchange policy - now Xposed framework/mod did the job).
This issue is so annoying that I even considered selling N4 and buying something else. Then I thought first I need to try change the rom.
I have been terribly quiet for over 3 years and right now I can't even write in developer topics :/
Yes i had this some kind of similar bluetooth issue not with audio(actually didnt tried) but with bluetooth transfer from my pc to n4. the file got transfered successfully but my n4 hanged and restarted. Im using Purity rom with hellscore b45 stable kernel. This happened only once now the problem is solved on its own.
