I just cant see myself using a flip case. It seems like it'll get in the way, but I like the idea of having your wallet combined with it,
Mine should be here soon. If you order do it on Amazon, they have a discount code in the description which will give you ten dollars off the price. I didn't see it till after I ordered it so check that out.

Got one
I have had one for a couple of weeks now. I really like it. My cards are easy to pull out of the slots. The leather has broken in at the spine and it folds over great. It doesn't honestly get in the way of using the phone personally. My only complaint is it gets a little thick with some cards in it. I have 3 cards in it and I can hardly fit it in my pockets. Granted my pants pockets are on the slim fitting side. I usually just carry it around or put it in my jacket pocket. So far I am impressed with it, except it takes a little work to get it out of the case. I am always afraid I am going to scratch or chip that chrome ring around the front of the phone when I pull it out of the case.
Would you guys minds putting up some be pictures, thanks!

I put on best skin ever, skin and then when I made a call the phone wouldn't lite up to see the hang up button. So I took skin off tested call it worked with skin off. I then put screen protector by Lumii Ark (great screen protector) and the same in call experience.
I haven't taken the protector off yet simply looking for a fix. I know that there are the two sensors on the upper left corner. It is polished clean and the protector is crystal clear. Any thoughts or similar experience?

Yup, pretty much. Or you can use scissors
I tried scissors with the skin and ruined the skin. I appreciate both responses. Have either of you had to fix this with ur N4 I have had a lot of androids and never any issues like this with the sensor being covered by screen protector.
I'll consider the hole punch. But would have to buy another screen protector. Sigh

Liberate yourself and go without the screen protector. I've used screen protectors on all my previous phones from the HTC Sensation, Galaxy SII, Galaxy SIII, and Galaxy Nexus.
When the Nexus 4 was announced I sold my SIII and picked up a Galaxy Nexus for relatively cheap. I decided that since the Galaxy Nexus was going to become my backup phone I'd go without a case or screen protector. Over the past 3 weeks of using the phone this way I've really grown to appreciate the phone "naked". Now I really could never go back to covering these beautiful phones with a case or screen protector again. I haven't been babying the phone like I normally would and it doesn't have a single scratch anywhere on it.
I'm really looking forward to using the Nexus 4 without any protection and enjoying it for what it is. Worst case, if I drop it and it gets damaged I'll shell out the ~$160 for a replacement from Google. I made enough profit from selling the SIII (which I put away just in case) to easily cover the cost of a replacement if necessary. For me, this is plenty peace of mind to enjoy the phone with no protection.
Just my $0.02.
Fair enough. I already bought a case I'll get first week of Dec. I have had the phone since the 18th so I know the awesome naked feeling u speak of.

I want a flip to car that leaves the screen bare when open. I will just use the case when I think the phone needs added protection.
I do not really like anything that is on the touch screen but I may put a transparent shield on the back glass.

They don't look the same to me at all? I mean look at the form factor, the Optimis G is rounded corners and a flat screen. Nexus is more rounded with a curved screen.
ZAGG has ones made just for the N4, but not the HD one you are looking for:
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/lg-nexus-4-e960-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
I went to the zagg stand at my local mall looking for the same. The HD zagg screen protectors are soooo nice and smooth. They said the best they could do is a custom cut, but Im uneasy about that, afraid it would come out looking crappy.
I had a custom cut one done for me using a HD invisible shield for the iPad 3. $20 and wow its nice!

Yeah the HD is much better than the original Zagg, too bad they don't sell it cut for the Nexus 4.
Probably because the Nexus 4 is only carried by a few carriers worldwide.
Ah thanks guys.
I think I'll get one of the Max protect ones today before their 50% off sale ends tonight. This way, at least the back is also protected and I can just replace the front with the HD one if they ever make it.
Has anybody received theirs yet?
I received mine the front & back its it looks really clear but I think the HD would be better and it covers the back really nice.

Thanks for the pics!
I've only ever used the original ZAGG so I don't know anything about the HD version.
I guess ZAGG's new way of dealing with the proximity sensors and front facing cam is to just leave a cutout to the edge. I liked their old style of making it cover everything but those sensors/cam. Hmph.

I haven't tried extreme guard before. I have always stuck with Zagg.
Let me start of by saying I personally like the bumper. Not as good looking as the official bumper, but it does the job and looks fairly nice. The only issue I am having is the fact that the rubber in the bumper tends to separate after a while. Seems like a classic you get what you pay for situation, being that its only 10 USD. Just letting everyone know before you decide to get it.

Hey there, long time lurker here but now I really need your help. I managed to drop my Nexus 4 this morning from about 3 foot onto lino flooring in my bathroom. It landed smack bang on it's back and the back glass is shattered.
Are there any cheap solutions to repairing this? I saw some glass on the bay for about £20, I don't know how easy it will be to repair though. Also thought about getting a skin from dbrands and just sticking it over it, hoping it holds.
Thanks, Ben.

their are 2 options you will find the one with NFC with be more expensive if you dont use NFC get the one without it and i got one for a friend off of ebay just search" nexus 4 back housing".
As far as buying a new back, I've heard a lot of people going on eBay, but where you get it is up to you.
As far as how to replace it once you obtain a replacement back, check out this thread. It has pictures and a nice step-by-step guide on how to do it. Scroll down a few posts and the OP also tells you where he got his replacement from.
Call LG
LG charged me $69.00 to replace the back glass.
Personally I'd save myself some money and time and go with a dbrand skin. The carbon one actually looks very nice on the N4 IMO (look at Taylor Martin's posts on www.pocketnow.com if you want to see it).

Why, their cases suck. On the defender the outside rubber stretches and fits terrible after a short time and it makes this phone massive and almost unable to carry, at least thats how the note 2 case was.

There's almost as many 1 star reviews for the Spigen as 5 star, sounds as though the cutouts are mis-aligned on some of them and there have also been 2-3 week shipping delays reported... so be careful with that one.
I ordered the Supcase on amazon and I like it. The original one they sent me was missing the cutout for the top noise canceling mic but they sent me a replacement which is good.

Just so you know Otterbox only covers otterbox. if you drop your phone with the case on and the phone breaks, you're out a phone. They'll replace the case for free though!

I received (finally) my Neo Hybrid yesterday. The fit is great and the look is nice. I like the case a lot. I also think that it could take a drop. That being said, the case is incredibly slick. So much so, that I'm not sure if I can feel comfortable using it. I would not recommend. Way tto slick.
I just ordered a case that says it's for the N9000 model. It should still fit the Verizon N9005 right they are exactly the same right? There's another case on eBay that looks exactly the same as the one I bought and it says it works with the N9005. Just curious.

I was an otterbox fan until I discovered seidio. Much better product and company. Went with a neo hybrid with this one and I love it. I agree that it is too slick though.
I liked otterbox for protection. But like was said the case stretches in short time and looks horrible. Ballistic makes just as good cases that are easier to take off and put on. And don't stretch. Gonna try a Trident (different company) case this time around myself since I think those will be available first.
