Hello fellow people of XDA, my Nexus 7 has been attacked ( .) by some sort of orange / copper color, no matter what I can't get it off, I am one hundred percent sure that it isn't my fault, any other this has happened to??? Thanks.

put some ronsonol (zippo lighter fluid) onto a paper towel and quickly try wiping it off before it evaporates. maybe even try a bit of alcohol.

Hmmm, not much worse than some of the extended batteries.

I wonder if they could implemenet a battery cover with very thing heatsink fins in the cover small enough to not as bulk...
Yeah, should make it just about as comfortable to use as one of the old mobile phones my girlfriends dad lugged around with him back in the stone ages. LOL!
Even placing the phone with the back cover still on, onto a heatsink, cools it off when charging.
I keep mine on my desk which is nice and cool, and the battery never gets over 38ยบ.
i dunk mine in antifreeze... works all the time!!
Just use some liquid nitrogen http(www)youtube.com/watch?v=G5PJ1bhF8TE
charge it in the refrigerator
Use it in the freezer!

I wish we'd known that earlier. My mate completely trashed his iPhone tring to get the data off it to move it to the Note (with Apple's 'tech support'). He was extremely angry, and vows never to buy another Apple product.
Hello. I can ''push'' this area of the glass panel in slightly.. Do you guys have this? Please test, it's urgent.

cmon, anyone? takes like 2 seconds to check
I can add that what I mean by press in, is that I can feel that the glass is getting pressed a little back..
Stop pressing it then?

Wow, what a nice answer.
I was looking to find out if my back glass had gotten damaged.
Cmon, anyone? Probably be my last bump before I let thread die
Gave mine a gentle press, and nothing. I agree with pepdavies, stop pressing it in.

Wont it make the s4 look fatter?

Thats the issue I have with the defender series case however it has saved my a$$ on many occasions.

I had one, actually just gave it away, for my S3.
Its attractive and durable, does make the device (S3) feel a bit wider.
I ended up not using, I didn't like the fit where the case snapped together.

don't know how I got this, but I have a spot on my screen which doesn't register touches. I have attached a quickmemo of what I'm talking about. can it be fixed, and how?

update touchscreen firmware, if not, it's a hardware defect.
there's plenty of these threads around
You can try update firmware but probably won't help. I have it too, for the second time. The fix is to replace the screen.
It often happens when charging the phone while doing something that makes it heat up. The cpu gets too hot and fries that part of the screen.
It can definitely happen without charging. I'm using a different phone now.
