So got home from work and my girlfriend couldn't wait to play with my nexus 7 so she opened it up and registered it to her account. Anybody know how the credits work... Does it just go to the first person to log in?

If she doesn't have a Google Wallet account and when the big obvious "Set up a Google Wallet account to get $25 credit" link showed up, if she was nice enough to click the skip button then she didn't use it. But if she already has a Google Wallet account then the credit is most likely linked to her account.

It doesn't link to your wallet account, it links to you play account aka your Google account you first type in when you turn on the device

I had this stored on my computer for god knows how long. But I agree, it's highly unlikely it will work on Android 4.x.

We have everything nexus 5 has.
Yes, a vague question. If you're meaning the Google Experience Launcher, yes you can. You can even do it without root. If rooted, install CM 11- comes with the N5 launcher.
