Is it possible to connect multiple ps3 controllers via bluetooth to play on the ePSXe emulator?
I can connect one easily enough with it and this emulator does accept multiple controllers but I'm wondering whether both can be connected to it via bluetooth as usb-otg isn't availiable with this phone.
Search for sixaxis controller on the play store.

You can only connect one controller at a time. It's a not PlayStation 1...it's a Nexus 7 tablet.

I already have the sixaxis app. Is it possible to have 2 connected at once via bluetooth (Very important as no usb-otg). I just don't want to buy another controller and find out it doesn't work.
And scream4cheese, it's a nexus 4 hence being in the nexus 4 q&a.

I just tried it. I connected both my dualshock and sixaxis controller to phone and was able to map both the controllers. It works.

So now that Honeycomb supports keyboards, is there any reason I can't use an HID compatible gamepad with the new USB adapter? Looking forward to checking out all the emulators on my nice big screen...
yes, it should be possible. google showed it off with an usb xbox controller at google i/o.

I don't have a Wii Remote, and it doesn't seem like it would really work for N64 or PlayStation games. I am going to try the USB Xbox remote. I wonder if you could use two of them with a USB hub...
Is there a dock or something that has both usb and hdmi? That would make my tab a pretty impressive device for emulators.
the xbox gamepad+usb adapter won't work, you need drivers for that (even on older windows versions like XP).
just get a bluetooth gamepad instead.

Actually it would work as the classic gamepad connected to a wiimote also functions with the wiimote app.
just curious if anyone has done it or its possible so you can play multiplayer
I'm pretty sure it will work as long as you get a USB hub. The tablet is supposed to be compatible with multiple HIDs like a keyboard and mouse, so I don't see why 2 controllers would be any different.
Make sure you have a powered usb hub......(I haven't tried it yet but still feel it would work......non powered has less possibilities)

That's my question. The only multiplayer game I've ever used where two people touch the screen is glow hockey. Maybe the OP just assumed multiplayer action games would be like co-op on a console.
If you use a splitter you can connect 2 controllers, works withe SNES emulator.

Umm. Sixaxis controller supports more than one controller now. Add the ps3pairingtool and voila, 2 dualshocks connected wirelessly to ur acer through bluetooth on separate channels. Connect each controller via usb with ps3pairingtool, then wirelessly through sixaxis controller.

Does anyone know if usb gamepads work with the Iconia? Would like to use an analoge pad if it can be done to play some PSX games..
Thanks, Sonkey
This has been discussed numerous times since 3.1 was released.
Yes, USB gamepads are supported. Not 100% sure about analog thumbpads for psx playing though. Try it

i use my usb controller to play snes all the time. not sure on psx just should work. no need for an app just connect and map the keys in the emulator. heres a link on the kind of controller im using

I use a wireless xbox 360 controller for PC (w/ usb receiver). This works well for nesoid hooked up to the tv via HDMI
why bother using a wired joystick when you can get a wireless joystick at just few bucks more..
i have PS3 wireless joystick and installed sixaxis contoller app... been happy and no problem so far
Those of you using an xbox controller hardwired..
my left analogue stick works but not the right one. also the top L+R buttons work but not the bottom ones..
do you guys have the same issues??
Also..
Those using the PS3 controller.. have you noticed that any buttons arent responding? might invest in a PS3 controller if they all work correctly.
thanks in advance.
I've bought this app on the market
(Damn, cannot post links...)
it's called 'USB/BT Joystick Center'
It's working perfectly to me...
I've tested 3 generic usb joysticks and all of them worked.
You can create the USB driver based on the bits input of the device.
really nice, and no root is needed.
rafinhasantana 'USB/BT Joystick Center
Hey rafinhasantana,
I bought USB/BT JOY center too but i was afraid to install it. check out the permissions on that thing. Says it can record passwords you enter in another application. I know its probably needed to record button actions etc... but i was a little concerned.
Do you have any issues with it thus far? Anyone else use this????

I've been looking into this. When you say a "wireless PS3 remote", sdo you mean the stock Sony branded remote, or other?

Hi!
Well i've had no problems with that.. It works like an alternative input method, like in the Wii controller input, but you're not gonna use to type your passwords around. I've contacted the developer about the deadzone for sticks and he hass implemented that...
It's working fine for me, and since I don't use the tablet for banking I'm not THAT worried about passwords on it at all...

I just noticed the Six Axis app requires root... shucks.
Those SixAxis Dual Shock controllers... the ones listed as wireless still have the mini USB connection on the back. Is that ONLY for charging, or can those be hooked up via USB to the tablet for use as well?

Im also thinkimg of getting a set or paiir of ps3 controller. Im kinda leaning towards the bluetooth wireless sixaxis. But before i pull the trigger, can anyone plz confirm that you can connect two wiireless sixaxis controllers simultaneously for 2-player mode in some games? If not, can the wired controllers do it? Tia
Anyone know if PlayStation One (dual shock) controllers can work properly?
I have one hooked up via an OTG cable and a USB conversion hub (to plug the controller into) and can only seen to get the analogue sick to work on FPse. The others buttons (other than the D-pad and right analogue stick) seem to be working in the joycentre but I am not sure how to get them to work outside it, out how to tell the joycentre what physical buttons the presses relate to. Does anyone know if a tutorial video in English?

are you sure it do sent need root because every freaking video I seen said you need it to use that app( can you make a video of how you do it.) if so can you use a controller to show me how to use it on modern combat 4 when you put it on YouTube
I have been following various threads on the Onlivefans.com forum about using an Android device to play Onlive games and mapping hardware buttons to software controls. None are perfect and do not play the games I would like. Now the Sony Tablet S is compatible with Onlive using a real PS3 controller. The Sony Tablet S is a Playstation Certified tablet. What would I have to modify on my Nook Color to make it think it is a Tablet S? I already have Sixaxis Controller app to allow bluetooth connectivity to my PS3 controller and it works great for all my emulators. I am really hoping this will let me avoid a $50 purchase of Onlive's official Universal Controller.
Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks in advance.
could you clarify what you mean when you say bluetooth works fine? I was under the impression that book's bt radio was too weak to even keyboard properly?
there are apps on market that allow you to spoof other devices but if it is a hardware or driver limitation you might be able to usb joystick it
The bluetooth has worked great with my PS3 controller. I have used it up to 3 feet away with no issue. I have not tried to use two controllers at once but it seems technically possible.
I guess my real question is, does anyone have a build.prop from a Sony Tablet S and I will try asking in one of those forums.
The PS3 controller works a little bit while using OnLive but they do not allow you to map keys. They want you to use their controller only.

The sixaxis app says it lets you connect four controller but the nook apparently only recognizes one at a time.
I could use another Xbox 360 controller, but it would be nice if it could be used for both the Xbox and the MOJO so I'd have another controller for the MOJO. It would have to be wireless, I know the wired one can work. I've done a lot of searching, but didn't see a great solution. I saw on XDA forum there is a way to get it to work with Nexus, but wasn't sure if it would work on the MOJO. Any thoughts?

I need the controller to work with the XBOX 360 though, the Playstation 3 controller won't do that will it? I was hoping to get one controller that would work with both 360 and MOJO, but if I have to get separate ones that may be what I have to do.

I'm not sure where you're based but this would enable you to connect a wireless 360 controller to MOJO:

Edit: heh, yeah that's exactly what's in the video that Amigawolf just linked to.
Thanks guys! Looks like that should work great. Lovin the MOJO, doing exactly what I need it to do.

Good to see that we could help you, and i hope that you will have a lot of fun with it.
I can confirm that the wireless receiver for the PC works on the mojo. I was able to pair the Xbox 360 wireless with the receiver and get it to work. I was able to get it to work without doing any configuration for Soulcraft, except for the trigger buttons. It also worked straight up on Mupen64. On GTA III it worked until you got into the game, then it would just constantly spin around, so may need some configuration. I won't be using it as a main controller, but seems to be an option if I want to play a two player game. The receiver was only $10 US, so nice addition to be able to use an XBOX 360 controller now on the MOJO and a computer.
