I use the stock browser and flash works just fine really.

I didn't do anything but in dolphin I don't have any problems. But with Chrome, even though I have Flash player installed, most of the times it doesn't work.

Chrome browser doesnt support flash. Stock does as does firefox. You still need the apk for flash installed.

Stock browser handle flash better than any other browser av tried.

Stock browser is the best browser fullstop.
Full screen
Quick controls
Bookmark sync
Tabs
Mobile/desktop view
Reflow
Flash
Speedy
Plus lots more
I know other browsers have a lot of these features, but why use a different one? I've tried them all, genuinely, and the stock browser is superior.
One thing I miss is computer to mobilr sync.
I have never searched for it though.

hi
I noticed flying flash boxes (like ads or baners from pages) on my sgs II.
On my galaxy I there never was such an issue...
anyway to solve this?
Not exactly sure what you mean, but do you have plugins enabled in the browser settings?

On any webside with adobe flash the flash item (box) is moving around and not at his place...

that happens when you use a deodexed rom. Stick to Samsung's stock odexed roms and the flash content should stay in place.

have you installed astro file manager and enabled full downloads?
There are apps that enables you to download those file in it`s original format. I cant remember the name of that app but try to install Astro File Manager from the Android Market. I think it`s containing that plugin that you need. After this try to download again with the Android Original Browser..
Thanx i am trying that.
Thanx a lot

I get the same issue but by using Opera Mobile (not Mini) everything downloads ok...give it a try

the issue of getting htm files from places like filesonic is something to do with the stock browser on the sg2, i get it too. If i am wanting to download something from a site like filesonic i will use dolphin hd browser and it will work fine.
Use Opera mobile.

Download all files app should work in the market.
I had this problem before until I downloaded this.
Try it again. It should work fine in Stock browser, if not Dolphin does the job
+1
Opera Mobile solved this issue for me.
Opera won't help if you have a timer on the download, it will hang after 3 seconds. Dolphin browser will though

Opera Mobile works fine with a timer download, have no problems with Megaupload, Fileserve and Filesonic, all of which have timer downloads
Make sure you have the latest flash installed, all browsers work fine for me but use opera as my default browser.

After installed download all, Filesonic started downloading as file on stock browser.

I was able to view flash content with the stock browser on my note 2 but I am not able to on my s4. Does anyone know how to fix this or what browser would you recommend that supports flash player? Thanks in advance.

I am also having the same problem even though I have the same flash installed that worked on my S3..
Firefox beta or boat browser.

bump. .. to see if anyone has gotten flash to work with the stock browser. Even though it is a bit gimmicky, I would like to take advantage of the quick scroll feature.

Is the stock browser still the android "browser" or is it Chrome now?
If it is chrome that explains why it doesnt work. I am pretty sure that flash doesnt work with chrome.

Yeah, that's why I was asking. Don't have the phone yet myself. Tomorrow!
It is stock Android. That is the only one compatible with the smart scroll at the moment.

Would it be possible to port the Galaxy S3's browser to work with the Galaxy S4? As I understand it, the Galaxy S3 browser supports flash
I don't know much about quicktime support.
Is there any way to get quicktime support on the S4? Is it something on the phone itself or is it a matter of browser? I'm using Chrome, so if it was browser related you'd think Chrome would have included it.
I know there are several video converters available, but I don't think that would work when you're trying to watch a video online and don't have it downloaded.
Is there any way to bring more video format support for browsing on this phone?

What browser are you guys using? Stock, Chrome, Dolphin and Opera are just a few available.
I have always been a fan of Opera, but it's been buggy lately.
Jusy started playing with Chrome and like it a lot.
Just stock one

Ya, that's kind of annoying.
I'm using Next Browser, very fast and useful
I'm using the stock Google browser... until now it's the best one I've tried. Great handling flash with imbued subtitles for online streaming and everything works fine. My second choice would be Firefox.
