Thought i would make a thread about bugs you have and if anybody knows a fix.
So far ive only noticed my Music player dont work anymore and says "could not launch the requested activity".
Anybody come acroos that and know how to fix it?
Data seems to be working so far with the stock modem that came with 2.1
I cant seem to figure out this bug can someone help? Why is master such a cry baby.... ?

Some apps do not work in gingerbread. But most do. Can you give a list of apps which are not working? you may have to flash again from scrach....
Alot of games and certain apps, terminal emulator didn't work till like 3 days ago

can you give me names of specific apps? I am using the same build as you are I suppose. I am able to run Terminal Emulator on my phone. If you can give me 1 or 2 more names I will try and make sure whether they work or not...

I know some apps are not compatible with gingerbread yet, you can see that people are updating their apps on the market for compatibility with gingerbread, if you're using app2sd you might want to try to switch the app from sd to phone, I found some apps giving FC from sd, started working when I moved to the phone.
I find this topic pointless, just to file up some crap. In 1st post, almost all doesn't work and all FCs.
Later on, it becomes certain.
Few moments from now, OP will just say, oops, I didn't read that's why it didn't work.
When you say almost all, that means many. Many is more than one. You only posted one. Therefore, it is not many nor certain number.

it really bothers me that people troll XDA constantly.... get a life.
btw, moving the apps to phone like suggested above fixes the FC problems.

Try moving the problem apps to SD or to internal memory...
Settings - Applications - Installed Apps - Select the problem app and move it...
This solves a lot of FC problems...

i also would suggest to move the apps to the internal memory.
when i had CM7 installed on my phone the most apps got moved to the sd-card, even with the install-to-internal setting in the CM-settings.

Yep, I haven't been able to log in since the update.
It's a known issue that financial apps aren't working on the update. Hopefully someone has a fix? Amex, bank of america, discover..all not working either.

Well, reguarding the issue with the mobile bnking apps not working after the update.. I just chated with Moto support and basically they said.
"Yes we know there is a problem with certain mobile banking apps not working with our latest update. Please contact the developers of these apps and request they make them work on your phone".
I told him is was many of the mobile banking apps, not just a particular one. He basically said,
"these apps are developed by 3rd party and we do not endorse, recommend, or support them."
So it seems that they know there is an issue and believe the problem is with the apps and not the phone and that it will be up to the devs to make the app work specifically with the Atrix.. great.
So take this for what its worth. Just my experience with moto on this issue (ammong others I contacted them about).

Thats normal for any hardware developer. Its not their fault if 3rd party apps don't work with their hardware. Sorry, but I agree with Moto here! Ask any manufacturer and you'll get the same answer.

I agree, but it worked and then stopped working. Moto ****ed it up ... My guess is that there is an issue with the website-certificates or something.
Either way, I was wondering the same thing, and as long several people have the same issue, there will be a fix for it eventually.
Does anyone have any updates on this? Chase just let out an update but it still does not work on my phone

Just noticed,
The new updated Facebook app (V 1.6) is no longer compatible with the Xoom. I.e. if you don't have FB or if you've uninstallrd it, ouch!

I think they are trying to push tablets back to the unified touch website interface. The only thing that sucks with that is you can 'send to facebook' and sync contacts.
Know of any other apps that handle just that?
Friend me is a great tablet optimized facebook client. But it is still in the earlier stages of development.

Install it on any other device then move it via astro backup or something. I did that and it works fine.
I use Friendcaster... not the tab optimized version though because it lacks a lot of functionality. Does look pretty however.
I just installed the 1.6 update on the Xoom and it force closes when you try to search. It's defiantly not made for the Xoom. Here is the APK if anybody wants to try it.

I'm on 1.5.4 and its always fcd on me searching for people. Has never worked right. You would think they would have given HC users a fully functional version by now.

I suspect this has to do with the fact that good Android devs are hard to find; good Android devs with Honeycomb experience are nearly impossible to find.
Would anyone mind posting the last facebook version that "works"?

Hello everyone,
I have flashed xxki4, pretty happy with its performance and battery life. One thing Im missing is gtalk with video, never had much need for it, but my mate has a sensation and keeps saying that his phone is better than mine cos it has this.
Am i right in saying I can't install the gtalk video apk without rooting? Im not rooting and have no interest in doing so.
If thats the case, are there any good roms with gtalk video included on a par with battery life and performance with xxki4.
Appreciate your advice.

Easy way for you would go market and install talk 1.3 installer..

One of the official 2.3.4 leaks has build in Gtalk with video chat.
I don't remember which version, but maybe I can check it later.
Not sure but I think kg6 was the last leak that had it. 2.3.4

Try the new miui 1.11.25... Im using gtalk everyday since it came out (2days ago) and the video chat option icon is always there.

It was XXKG2. The only bad thing with this version is that webrowser is crashing on some flash webpages.
Root ur phone.
Download the talk with video from $omator's thread for the sgs1 gtalk.
Apply as a zip from sdcard in recovery.
It works.
