hey whats goody xda Is there any way you can play youtube mobile on this core evo ROM as in when i go to youtube mobile and click on watch and takes me str8 my youtube app to play the video? please help

Try this cab (attached) I got from PPCGeeks.com. It might work. Report back!

Ah, sorry it didn't work.
Aug. 9? The last release is Aug. 10. I'm downloading it, but I'll flash it later. I'm playing with Android right now!

Does the MyTouch play .avi video out the box?

With the default media/video player app.

Yep. I just played one..

Nope. It doesn't. Simple get tomcat do a video send it to urself and see. Still Android and android does not do avi.

My Vibrant does avi no problem.

That's two different companies ma man, AVI is always considered as a pirate format, not saying that you illegally download stuff, but im just saying

Do you own a MT4G ? If yes ? then instead of posting the question why dont you just try it ?
I might and might not play the video since it depends on the encoding of the video you are trying to watch

Can it play facebook games like Poker, Farmville, and Cityville? Anyone test it?

Just tried cityville, on various browsers, skyfire,stock,miren,dolphin HD and mini beta. Very very choppy.

What do I mean? I mean it is very very choppy. virtually unusable I think. Have tried stock browser,miren,skyfire, dolphin HD, Dolphin mini beta. will try opera when i get round to it, but dont think it will be any different.

i will purchase dell streak after the price cut in our country here. still interesting with dell streak, love the 5" screen.

I have an iPad and I am really thinking about getting a Xoom. I don't know how apps are for the xoom, if most apps already support honeycomb ...
.... What are current owners feedback? How are apps developing going and does slingbox already work on the xoom?

Almost every past app works on the xoom, though some look a bit stretched.
The honeycomb API hasn't been out long, but there are quite a few nice 3.0 apps already out.

Netflix... not now, and possibly not for awhile, but it is certain....
and slingbox I can't answer for sure, but i'm pretty sure i've seen people on this forum talking about using it... you can search if you want.

This is 720p video playback, not recording .
@OP, there is no 720p recording on Android, only Windows Phone
