Hi guys! i just installed miroslav's rom and it was awesome. However I was listening to music using my headphones and then.. the screen didn't wake up anymore! Not even while not listening to music. I read the development topic and they said you could turn on button backlight and set screen time out to never but I can't find ANY of those 2 options, screen time out is set maximum to 30min and the enable button key backlight is not present. I downloaded Miroslav's lastest rom (06/12/2012) and made an absolutely clean install. I'm using kernel .39revo too, cause I don't want problems with wifi
Can anybody help me? I'm fallling into despair

I noticed a weird standby issue on my S200:
when i'm listening to mp3's via my bluetooth stereo headphones and i press the standby button, the screens goes dark and music continues to play, as it should.
but when i do the same using the Qtek headphones, the screen goes black and music stops, i guess the S200 really goes to sleep.
Any idea how i can change the behaviour when using the qtek headhpones ?
Thanks,
Ban
I've noticed the same. I think the "suspend" mode has different behavior depending of what applications running and what soundpath is active. I think this is an issue of dualcore OMAP CPU.
One other thing noticed is that battary discharges more if some active application while go to suspend, I think some application can't "freeze", but continue to do something, therefore the suspend is not so deep...
One else thing is that sometimes it goes to sleep too deep, and can't be up with the button. LEDs are flashing, If I call to it - no one answers, but no ring sound as well, and power button can't awake it up from standby, only press SR to restart. So far, I am clearly know that it newer happens if no application running. Need more time to check out.
If someone have some extra info, please, share it to us!

did i change some settings without knowing. could some one help me out. i really like this panal
tthanx
Im having issues with the media panel ever since I updated my phone as well. When I start playing a track it plays for a sec, then it freezes for a long while (animations working but no sound) and continues after that.
Does it still turn optical joystick on ? Cause the previous ROM does exactly that.
hey
after 4 days of hard resting and reinstalling, i finally figured the problem. media panel seems to get stuck lik in the 1st post every time i change File cache (don no if one of them or both seem to be the problem.). so far i tried to softwares, xperiatweaks 2 beta and also advanced config.....
anyone have any idea or can fix it?
plz
thnkx
On mine there is another bug (generic uk r1aa008): video taken with camera play slow, instead mp4 also with high bitrate play well.
Anyone get the same?
I have also been having this problem since upgrading to R2A. I've put it down to some power saving changes SE have tried to introduce.
On the old version of the Media Panel it never turned the backlight off and the timer bar always updated to show the position in the track.
With this version the when the back light dims some screen updates no longer occur (e.g. the timer bar) and the eventually the screen will turn off. It then seems to stop playing after 2 or 3 tracks after the screen has turned off.
I've not worked out anyway to fix it - just hoping when the official ROM update is released via SE it will be fixed then.
I remember ShubCraft had it on his hybrid hd2 build and I loved it but now I'm using SuperRam froyo 1.5. Also, how can I adjust my media volume without always having to turn on my screen? Thanks guys, appreciate the help!

Should be a setting option in the music player for lock screen controls. Volume controls should still work with screen off and lock screen active.
I didn't see any settings I could change in the music player except for shuffle and repeat etc. and sorry I meant with the screen completely off, how can I still adjust the volume? The volume does work when the lock screen is active. It's annoying having to press the power button everytime to adjust the volume when I'm at work trying to talk to customers. Also, do you know the easiest way to transfer pictures/videos and music to my phone from my pc? I have Activesync and Droidexplorer. I don't care about album art or anything fancy. Thanks again.
First I noticed that my Lock button doesn't work anymore. When I press it, nothing happens. I thought it's a bug or something so I flashed different Roms but the problem still exists...
it is not a hardware problem, because i can hard reset my device normally.
When the phone goes to stand-by mode, it stays off for one second and then it turns the screen and backlight back on. That runs my battery out quite quickly.
I have searched forum for this problem, but did not find any answer.
Is there a solution for this??
the same problem here!!!
have someone an idea?!
I've had the same problem with my Omnia i8000.
But my Phone will come back on only if I am listening to Music.
Does this happen to you while listening to Music ? If Yes, then just turn the volume one step down. Thats a workaround I've found for my phone.
has anybody fixed this issue on their omnia pro yet?
i am facing the same issue, the screen is always on as the lock key doesnt do anything....the only time the screen shuts off is when using the touch music player after 60 sec.(backlight setting when phone not on external power)......screen turns on when the song ends.....hard reset to factory settings doesnt fix the issue......plz help if u hv a solution figured out....thnx

Amazing... You are my lifesaver...I have been facing this problem since last one month.
Your idea worked for me but can you tell why this problem occurs? and this is a temporary solution...Is there any permanent solution to this problem?
Greetings to all. I had this problem for a while. I solved it with 2 programs - the first is AEButton and the second Smart Lock. I mapped the W&L button to "lock device"(AEButton). After that going to SmartLock ticked: Lock screen and then stand-by. In this way I used the W&L buttons as lock key. Worked for me, hope it works for you!
P.S. I am using custom rom without the touchwiz interface, I dont know if that makes any difference!
EDIT: It fixes the issue partly...the screen pops out every 20 seconds or so.... Seems to me it is a hardware problem. Flashing with different ROMs doesn`t seem to work.
Hi Guys,
I noticed something when I get calls, it takes while for the screen to turn on, 5 seconds or so, why? Is there any tweaks that can make the screen pretty much turn on soon as the phone rings, atm I feel the vibration hear the ringtone and the screen stays blank for while then once screen turns on I am able to swipe and answer.
I have Ktoonez Kernel, Stock Rom, I have tweaked the phone from with the kernel. Not sure if I touched the wrong thing or what, help would be great.
Once I also noticed it took awhile to come out of a deep sleep. What features in the kernel would do this?
