Hey guys. I'm running PA2.99 along with the latest Matrix kernel. Everything is fine, but when I try to send a MMS it crashes. "Unfortunately, the process com.android.mms has stopped." The only option is "OK" and it just closes the app. I've tried Chomp but it crashes the whole app. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks

So I cannot open my stock messaging program after installing Handscent SMS. The Handscent app force closes, so I uninstall it and now the stock messaging, "process.com.android.mms" unexpectedly force closes right away. How can i get back the original messaging process or file without factory resetting the phone. I am using the latest kernel and zimage for my Blackstone (htc-msm-linux 20101204_010857). I am using CyanogenMod 6. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
for some reason, the message saying the google service framework force closes keeps popping up on my nook cm7 (7.0.2 stable). I tried reflashing gapps, disabling the syncing of my emails, and even uninstalling them, but nothing happened. >.<
anyone know how i can solve this?

I am having the same issue, the error "The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and the very similar "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." keep popping up.
I have tried deleting the davlik-cache, but it is still happening. On a similar note, my contacts app is missing and will not re-install. I believe this may have something to do with this error, so is there any way to force install a system app?
edit: I found that I had uninstalled contacts and contact data via Titianium, thankfully I had a back up and that seams to have fixed the problem.
TC maybe you should check to see if your contacts and contacts data files are still on your nook.
Hi,
I deleted some apps with system app remover not knowing the trouble you get when you remove google apps(total newbie). Then i couldnt download from the android market. I re-installed gtalk and gmail and solved the android market problem but now i get this error "the application google settings provider (process com.google.android.providers.settings) has stopped unexpectedly please try again". the error comes up seemingly randomly and does not affect operation of the phone but is quite annoying.
Does anyone know what i can do to fix this?
Thanks, Gordon.
ROM: MIUI
I loved handcent's widget before I switched to MIUI as well as its popup, but I keep getting an error whenever I try to run it on MIUI.
Right after installing I open it up and it immediately says it had to forceclose saying "The Application Handcent SMS (process com.handcent.nextsms) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
The error log is attached to this post. Any ideas?
I've tried pulling out the battery to restart the phone, but that didn't help.
Go to manage applications and clear the apps data. See is if that fixes it.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
No luck :/
The latest ROM (07.09.2014) gives me lots of "unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped" messages. It also appears to be unable to successfully open the SMS app due to this error. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem is?
On the plus side, it seems like the audio skipping is gone

I cleared the data+cache for the app 'Contacts Storage', restarted, and then re-synced my google account and this appears to have gone away.
