Preparations to be made Before Installing
Note:Mem Xpansion is done via Ext4 partition & Swap partition is done on phone's Internal Memory. [The Size of Ext-4 Partition will determine the Phone's Internal Memory to Install Apps].

What is the Difference between Elite version and XDA version ?
Answer:
Well all I can say is Elite version is more Closer to Original Windows Phone and has some Extra Apps... For more Info log on to our Facebook page
Flashed WP-ReMix Rom but the it doesn't start / Rom stays in the Bootscreen ?
Answer:
1. Did you make sure you have an Ext partition present on SD before flashing ??? Ext3 or 4, any will do.
2. Did you do a full wipe of Cache, System, batt stats etc... (I do this 3 times before flashing a new Rom, Always)...
3. After completing all of the above, did you re-boot after update flash & let the phone fully initialize before attempting to use it ???
4.If you followed all of the above procedures & still have a problem, then the issue must be with your SD card... Check that first partition is Fat32 & set as primary, the second partition should be Linux Ext4 & also set to primary...
If you are using internal /data for swap then you do not need SD swap partition...
When all the above criteria are satisfied, you will have a trouble free experience with Wp-ReMix...!!!
Lastly, which version of recovery are you using ??? We have found that the most compatible & reliable version is touch recovery beta... This can be found via it's thread on XDA SGA dev pages.
Q.Can I Install CronMod or Amarulzz or App2Sd or Link2Sd Scripts on this Rom ?

NO !!! Because Memory Expansion has been Enabled by Default in Xtreme version , any other Scripts will cause Instability in System ,which may Result in Loss of Data
Q. I can't do backup (nandroid backup) via Recovery OR I can't wipe dalvik cache ?
Answer
Wiping of Dalvik Cache Issue cannot be done through recovery option , as the Internal Memory was the Place where Dalvik Cache used to Ideally get Stored before... But here in this Rom Internal Memory is used for the SWAP (RAM Extension)... So you have to use Special Flash-able ZIP to do Data Format and Dalvik Wipe [HERE].
Same goes for creating a nandroid for this rom ,All hope is not lost however , You can use Titanium to do a complete rom backup & then restore via the same... This has been Tested and works great for me with this Rom.
We will try to Solve and reply all your Queries and Problems as soon as Possible.

There is only one version..i.e Gamerz Edition..
Tile collection patch is just a collection of tiles that you can set on your wp7/8 launcher..this is not a rom edition..

But just out of curiosity, does anybody from here have an issue with the settings not saving? It's just that Reaper mentioned that he's aware of the bug, but one guy with the same ROM reflashed it and got rid of the issue. Reflashing is a bit annoying, but if it fixes the bug and I'm the only one with it, I guess I'll have to do it.

I too was having the settings problem but i re-flashed the rom with same method..and it did worked..
Now for me the rom is super-fast..n for surpise no settings bug..
Edit: It was all going smooth..i just setup the Ram manager,applied some CMsettings,played TEMPLE RUN 2.. and then after some time when i unlocked the screen..the problems appears again..don't know the exact reason..will test and report later..
You can also go back to Launcher7 to see the true speed of this ROM, these guys have done an amazing job :good:

Try by pressing "back" after checking then enter again I found it unchecked
I have to reboot to activate my choice...

Yeah this is the settings-bug that I also have. Unfortunately uninstalling Anall lockscreen did not solve it, so I'll try to reflash.
Edit: Reflashed everything and the ROM seems to be working perfectly, settings save and etc. Don't know, I guess I messed something up during the first install. If your settings do not save, reflash and all is well. Really, it's the fastest ROM available

Here is the beginnings of a port of milaq+nadlabak's CM6 for Milestone A853 to the Milestone XT720. This port came primarily out of these two threads: 1, 2
The ROM here is based on combining say's CM6 port for Motoroi with an initial source build I've been working on with help from stlifey. It's based on milaq's 0.10 release with manual bugfixes. It is usable but has some quirks and rough edges.
The next step is to incorporate those manual fixes into my build tree, figure out how to fork the git repositories in my local repo, and upload a working build tree to github.

CM 6.3.0-RC3 Fixes camera/camcorder crashes that appeared in RC2
Because of the camera and camcorder problems with RC2, I've now rebuilt using Motorola's media libraries again. I think this restores camera. Camcorder also works now with a higher quality than before. We need to get to get a media_profiles.xml that works better for our phone. In RC3, I just took the one from milaq's A853.
Known issues in CM 6.3.0-RC3:
FM Radio doesn't work
Gallery button doesn't work
Camcorder doesn't work well
Screenshot in power menu always produces a black image

Android Keyboard is fixed (Thanks peshovec)
Torch/power-widget uses autofocus led
Linear vibration for haptic feedback vibrations <150ms
Selecting 1% battery increments is harmless (but doesn't work)

*Note about ext4 support: the huge_file option is *not* supported but is default for mkfs.ext4. Nadlabak explained how to disable huge_file on existing ext4 filesystems. Alternately just create ext2/3 partitions and use OpenRecovery-XT720 SD Card Utilities to upgrade the ext2 partition to ext4. Warning: the other OpenRecovery/Androidiani's don't understand ext4 on XT720 (thanks fjfalcon for adding ext4 support to OR for XT720). Also be aware that not many XT720 ROMs understand ext4 yet--hellmongers XDAspecial RC2 *does*.

Thanks! Don't waste time on the radio yet, it won't work because to compile CM6, I had to use A853's libaudio.so which lacks radio support. After the source tree is fixed we can figure out how to use the XT720 libaudio.so

Yeah, but when I call something alpha, it's merely hopefully working. When you call something an alpha it's something more like a release candidate. I think this still has a way to go, but everyone in the other threads got pretty persistently insistent on starting releases. I'll dogfood it.
ok just found out the hard way, do not select 1% battery increments, or it doesnt recognise it bein charged at all. just showed red battery with [X] and would turn off. when plugged in it said charging 0%. so stay away from that option. :/ atleast it stayed on while plugged in so i could undo it and now charging 60%.
So the ROM is not "nandroid" but "update" based ?
Any suggestions as if I should go back to an original 2.1 SBF ?
Any feedback/review on raw performance and performance degraduation (memory leaks and such) over time ? Battery life ?

as long as you didnt flash a Korean sbf to start with your fine, just apply in OR. and the roms pretty quick, give it a shot. the customization is huge. im loving the full 360 degree rotation, ive been waiting a long time for that haha opens every app almost instantly, it boots fast, i got 1220 on quadrant at 1 ghz, but the only thing i miss is the built in task killer when holding home. that came in handy. im still testing performance, its lookin good tho. well worth a try, i know ive been waiting to taste some delicious cyanogenmod. and boy is it good. haha

Mioze7Ae for the haptic feedback i found a menu in settings / cyanogen mod / input settings which can let you set up the duration of the feedback.... You can make it as smooth as you want!!!

I will upload updates in small CWM flashable packages, beacuse my internet is rly SLOW, sometimes i will make update for main package.
Instruction of installation
1. Before all try to do backup of your data via CWM or another program
2. Download ARLIC ICHI ROM.zip
3. Be sure you have at least 50% of battery!!!
4. Put this zip on interial SDCARD of your tablet
5. Go to CWM via key combo(power+ volume key up[the one farer of power button]) or comand from shell (reboot recovery)
6. Chose option "Install zip from sdcard" then "Chose zip from sdcard" and chose ROM ZIP then install
7. Wait those ~10min of installation
8. Format cache partition and flush dalvik cache(in CWM Advanced > Clear dalvik-cache) from CWM menu then reboot system
9. If will not boot, try to do factory reset via CWM, then format cache and flush dalvik-cache

Its multilanguage, so most of languages including asian languages with their alphabet(kana, kanji etc.)

I'd test it myself, if not the fact I am unrooted yet. Considering either doing it now or getting used to the device first on stock rom

Games work the same, but interface is a lot faster and a lot more stable, there arent so much OOM situations like on HC, internet browsing is more confortable, no lags, FCs, freezes like on HC, and battery stay longer,
some users with ICS on 7320 says the tablet looks like a new one, not 7320, work a lot faster than the same at HC 3.2.
I have compared with a Gtab 10.1 2 in a market, and P7320 on ICS work incomparably faster.

I have got a thunder while uploading, when it reach 98% i have got a big disconnect from internet for more than one hour.
Anyway my internet upload speed was incredible, just a 15kB/s
I'm adding md5 checksum to first post.
The ROM works like a charm. After an hour of using it I am more satisfied with the tab than I have ever been, finally feels and works the way it always should. LTE works fine as well. Great, great job, kudos to you, my friend!

Add a overclock support will be hard, beacuse of no source from samsung, if will get a source of this kernel, although i can compile a overclock module.
With mini apps tab shouldnt be a big problem, if you have got any informations about them, just send me, it will make my work faster.

1). Yea, its a init.d script, you can unpack the script from zip, its in system/etc/init.d folder, and place anywhere you want, install script manager and make a shortcut icon on desktop.
2). There isnt acces, i will work on it.

Yep, missing Trebuchet settings is the only issue with the ROM I found so far, everything else still works like a charm. Is there a way to add them somehow? Like, installing an additional .apk extracted from CM maybe?
Due to the issue I can't find a launcher fitting my needs. Trebuchet looks awesome, but the amount of screens is unnecessary and I dislike the transition effects. I don't like the look and feel of GO Launcher HD, Apex seems to be missing something (and feels a bit laggy) and TouchWiz... Well, it's TouchWiz. Any other recommendations, or shall I just wait for an update with Trebuchet settings? And if so, any ETA? (unless I can add it myself somehow)

UPDATE:
I found a workaround to the issue!
1.) Install Nova Launcher
2.) From Trebuchet, go to Widgets and add "Activities" widget from Nova on your screen
3.) Find Trebuchet and select Preferences
4.) Click the icon and modify Trebuchet settings!

Preparations to be made Before Installing
[Only for Xtreme Edition, Lite Edition Directly proceed to Step 1]
Mem Xpansion is done via Ext4 partition & Swap partition is done on phone's Internal Memory...
But If a swap partition is detected on the SD card during flashing, then the kernel will default the swap to the sd card swap partition.
If no swap on SD is detected then Kernel will default the SWAP to Internal /data for swap.
So you need to remove swap partitions (if present) from SD card, so that the kernel defaults the SWAP to Internal /data & not the SD card swap partition.IN Short you just need one EXT Partition (size depends on how much apps storage you want) on your Sd-Card
STEPS
1.Download both [XDA]Wp7[Xtreme].zip and Wp7-Update(1.2).zip
2.Re-Boot into Recovery.
3.Do Facotry-Reset(format cache,farmat data,wipe Ext),also Wipe Dalvik Cache.
4.Install[XDA]Wp7[Xtreme].zip
5.Re-Boot
6.(It will take time to Boot almost 3 minutes,as Frame_work and theme is Heavily Modded,Don't press anything until Scanning of Sd_card is Complete).
7.Set the Tiles for Launcher, In Initial Configuration of Launcher do the Following:
i. Set Phone tile to normal Phone App.
ii. Set messaging tile to Messaging Metro Beta.
iii.Contact tile to contact.
iv. Music tile to Music Player.
8.IMMEDIATELY ReBoot to Revovery !
9. Then MOUNT "/SYSTEM".
10.Now Install Wp7-Upadate(2.7).zip and REBOOT.
11.After Boot , press menu soft key, and go to >launcher7 Settings >application drawer>set drawer-style to android and check the Tranparent icon Option.
12.I HAVE UPLOADED YOU THE SCREENS,SO TAKE IT AS REFERENCE AND SET YOUR LAUNCHER TILES ACCORDINGLY ..

13.For Having Widgets like AuioFX or Music Player go to >Launcher 7 Settings>Widget View Access >Swipe , So now just Swipe to Right on HomeScreen and you will have 3 Blank Home Screens (just like normal android Launchers).

Some Q & A which will Clear most of Queries and Problems
Q.What is the Difference between Xtreme and Lite Version?
Ans. Xtreme version has Swap and Internal Memory Expansion Embedded in Kernel , Lite version doesn't have Swap and Internal Memory Expansion Embedded in Kernel by Default.
Q.What is the Difference between Elite version and XDA version ?
Ans. Well all I can say is Elite version is more Closer to Original Wp7 and has some Extra Apps... For more Info log on to our Facebook page
Q.Which version should I use (Lite or Extreme)?
Ans. If your SD is class is max class4 then Install lite version , Lite version will Feel a lot more Faster than the Xtreme version for users having Class 4 Sd-Card than Xtreme.
If you have SD class 6 and upwards then Install Xtreme, Xtreme is for fast SD cards of class6 upwards.
Use of Xtreme version with a slower sd card will result in less than optimal performance...
Q.Still Confused which Version to use (Lite or Extreme)?
Ans.Again as it has been said again and again , depends upon your Class of Sd-Card... Class 6 and above will result into more Faster performance in Xtreme version than by using Class 4...
But again we are talking in Relative Terms here...
Basically this I've made Framework Mods to make it Smooth and on top of that Reaper has Added Scripts to made it even more Responsive...!!!
So basically Xtremem version may feel more Responsive even on Class 4 or Class 2 Sd-Cards than other ROM's available...
But that is not the Full Capacity of the this ROM, If you have Class 6 or Class 10 then it will be more Fater than what you are Experiencing now..
Hope that clears up your Doubt of Speed , cause I can't think of Explaining in More Easier way ...
Now about which version you should use...
As you know there is no Internal Memory Expansion and Swap by Default in Lite version, you can use Scripts but it will be Enabled through Shell which then contacts Kernel... On contrary Xtreme version does this Directly through Kernel.
So now it's your Call...
If you Still can't decide then Try both , and then you'll surely reach a Conclusion!
Q.Can I Install CronMod or Amarulzz or App2Sd or Link2Sd Scripts on Xtreme version ?
Ans. NO !!! Because Memory Expansion has been Enabled by Default in Xtreme version , any other Scripts will cause Instability in System ,which may Result in Loss of Data
Q.Can I Install CronMod or Amarulzz or App2Sd or Link2Sd Scripts on Lite version ?
Ans. Yes !!! You can Install any Memory Expansion Script on Lite Version .
Q.Status Bar Dissappeared Or Options are not There in Settings Menu ?
Ans. You Messed up with the Installation Procedure ! Read Carefully and follow Each Step.
Q.Battery Drains Faster !
Ans. This ROM has same Battery Backup as of Official CyanogenMod 7.2
1.The Reasons for you getting low battery backup might be :
Boot takes lot's of time to Load all the Modded Frameworks, again you have to Flash the Update and ReBoot, Then again you have to Set up all the Tiles Layout [which is lengthy,but one time process] , then you got to Explorer the new Interface and Install all the Basic apps.
So basically during First Installation you may observer Drain,but again it's normal as you are doing so many tasks.
2.Battery Indicator is Very Deceptive in Latest CyanogenMod builds {sometimes even if it is as low as 10% , it shows Full just after 10 minutes of Charging... }
FIX:
Install all the needed Apps and Set the Tiles Layout and play around the phone for 1 day.
Let the Phone Charge continuously for about 3 Hours...
Plug it out from charger , Let it cool down , then again Charge for 15-20 Minutes...
Then use Calibration app from Market.
After that your Battery Life should be Pretty Normal ... You can also use apps like Juice Defender to Conserve Battery.
[Battery FIX, please check option 3 of above post]
Q.How can I have Tile Layout like in the Attachments ?
Q.How can I set the Vertical Tile ?
Ans. So here are the Steps to get "Vertical Tile"... Actually it's called 1x2 Tile
1.Long Click on Any App that you want to have 1x2(Vertical Tile)
2.Click on TileSize Drop Down (by default it's1x1) And Select 1x2 Tile (Vertical).
3.Swap Left(i.e. go to right , VisualSection ) .
4.Click on Display Icon Option , (Disable it).
5.Then Click on Background Image (Enable it).
6.Then Click on "Change picture" Button.
7.Then Browse through the Wp7 Tiles Collection I've Uploaded.
8.Go to 1x2 Folder and Select any Tile that you want.
9.Click On "Create Tile" Button that's just below "Change Picture" Button.
10. That's It now you have a Vertical Tile !!!!!!!
^Same Steps are to be followed for 1x1 (Square Tile) , or 2x1 (Horizontal Tile).

Xtreme and Lite...
So can choose any1 that suits you!
So as I've read, it's all based on CM7.2, modded from the ground up (basically), and it uses the internal memory as swap instead of storage.
After I bought a SD specifically for swap, this happens. Lmao amazing. I'll wait for some reviews before trying it out.

Been following your worl since long on FB. Glad to see that you have finally released this amazing rom on XDA as well. Have to say, that your team has matured beautifully in all aspects. Performance was never a problem with your roms, but you have found the sweet spot aesthetically as well. The rom looks different enough to set itself apart without looking tacky or over the top. Hey Dude,
Do u Hav An Ext 4 Partition On ur SD card.
I m sure that will be the cause of ur problem,Bcoz This Rom Specially Requires n Ext 4 Partition (else it will not boot).
Remember no swap partition to b created.
Also if u hav ny other EXT partition than u can download the EXT 4 conversion tool n convert ur other Ext partition to EXT 4 partition given above in the Download Link.
Hope This Solves ur problem

Bro, If you are waiting 12 minutes, then you have gone wrong somewhere, seriously... If you fulfill all the pr-requisites then you will definitely NOT have a problem with this rom...
Are you using standard CWM or Px touch as we recommended ??? Have you got an Ext4 partition ? Do you have a swap file or partition on SD? If so get rid of it, it will interfere with the internal swap of the kernel...
Satisfy the above queries, then do full wipe & flash again... Boot should only take 3 - mins max for first boot, second boot onwards takes about 20 seconds
Hope this helps bro...
FYI : This rom has been on general release on our FB dev page for days now in its original & patched itteration... No-one has had any issues with boot or flashing when using Px recovery

hi just want to ask on flashing, correct me if i am wrong:
1st flash is px recovery [shud we be on stock example xxkpt and flash px recovery? will px same as CWM recovery?shud we flash first the 'Roor.zip to have SU and the flash PX RECOVERY?]
2nd flash PSN's Ext4 conversion tool [after flashing the tool are we going to create ext partition via px recovery like what we r always doing in CWM just to have sd-ext or just put in sd card > flash and will it automaticaaly create ext4 partition?]
3rd and final is this step:

FB version has unlocked (full) apps etc (no restrictions)... FB version required a performance update patch, whereas XDA version has the patch already included...

Hey bro... Ok it's time for some keyboard gymnastics, hehehe
Px Touch Recovery can be flashed while on stock or while on custom rom... As long as you are rooted, it makes no difference which rom you are currently using (stock/custom)...
1. are you rooted ? if "yes" then no need to root (elementary), If "No" then get rooted (no offence, hahaha)...
2. Assuming you are rooted, do you have CWM 4/5 installed? If "Yes" then Flash "Px Touch Recovery" using standard flash method... If "No" then flash CWM4/5 first then upgrade by flashing "Px Touch Recovery" over the top of them to prevent errors when flashing...
3a. Do you have an Ext4 partition already? If "Yes" then No need to do anything here, If "No" your Ext is Ext3, then flash the PSN Ext3 - Ext4 conversion tool that we have provided, job done...
3b. If you have no ext partition at all, then you are in a bad place & need to create one asap for custom roms to boot & operate correctly.. FYI : Ext partitions must be User created, it is not possible for the rom to do this
4. If you have any swap partition or swap file on SD, then delete them... They are not required for our rom & will interfere with the native operation of swap which is taken care of internally by the kernel & internal /data partition of the phone...
5. Once you satisfy all the above criteria (sounds a lot to do, but isn't in reality), then & only then are you in a position to flash the rom...
Remember to perform full wipe procedure prior to flashing the rom ok...
Hope that this helps you to have a trouble free experience whilst using our works bro...

Holy ****. This is pretty good. No screen tearing, stock CM as it should be, and most of the basic features working apart from Bluetooth. Where did this ROM come from?
EDIT: Screen has glitches during Panorama mode, but it does work
I'll try it tonight, but I'm also curious...which phone did you port it from? What's the base? Did you simply pick up where Ilyaa left off? Cheers.

I was making this rom before ilyaaa but i didn't share on xda, i just shared in another website in Turkey. When i was starting this project there is no real 4.2.2 on xda. As you see in this rom there is no tearing and another problem except BT and also it is so smooth. At last i can say that i ported this rom from u8800pro.
I use the v3 when you realised, and I can connect to ZON router, on this version this is fixed?
And you can add data usage on the ROM?

Rom feels very nice indeed but same bugs as ilyaas....
- BT not working, as mentioned.
- Neither wpa_suplicant files worked with me. Had to flash old file in order to have Wi-Fi.
- I have my tablet next to me and I can see up to 8 networks. The phone only show mine (same as ilyaas).
- No 4 way reboot (we can use an app).
- No wifi tethering natively, so I assume thats why you included barnacle. Enventhough doesn't work.
- Main weather and clock widget when we click the weather nothing happens.
Resuming exactly the same bugs as ilyaas rom but much smoother and fast.
Good try and will keep following the progress but it's not for me due to wifi and BT.
4 way reboot can be activated on developer settings. I love to this setting enable by default. And why not add Google play already installed on first time without gapps?
I'll try this rom tomorrow.
"Long press back button to kill apps" delay time is too long. How can i adjust it?
