I downloade skype from the windows appstore and I cant log in to a skype account unless I accept that the skype account will be syncyed with the windows live qccouny.
What should I do ?

I think even the desktop clients are going this direction, so... link or use an outdated client, I guess.
My Skype works fine with my old user name and password but for new sign ups Skype and Msn work together. Maybe check the sign in settings if there is an option how to sign in, I can't remember lol

I notice you can add instant messaging mediums under your profile and other contacts but when you goto click on them to chat with that client it doest do anything. What am I missing? Also is there a way to add pics to your facebook account thru the built in client?

I do'nt see any IM logins under the standard Add Account screen.

Edit any one of your contacts, or edit your own profile and you will see a section to add instsnt messaging such as msn,yahoo and aim. Ive put stuff in there and the once done you will see under that contact an option to chat using aim,etc but iy doesnt do anything.

Trillian is releasing a version for Android (to round out the set with the iPhone, And BlackBerry versions). Maybe a program like that can hook into that information. We should know soon when the beta is released.

i download this app. heard its all good and that. when i try to connect to windows live messenger and i put my hotmail adress and it doesnt connect. does any1 else have the same issue?
You need to make a Trillian account first, then you can connect all your accounts (AIM, WLM, Skype, etc.).
i did make and acount and activated it. i signed in on gmail but try 2 different account with msn didnt work
works fine for me, fb can be a bit iffy at times, but thats pretty much the case with fb chat all the time anyways.
if trillian doesnt work, ebuddy works pretty well
what version and build u have on ur trillian?

The first step after install was ofcourse to login to astra, then i login to all other accounts
When u sign in what color is the wlm logo? Mine is dark grey when I click on it says please connect when I do connect nothing happens

You have to connect to internet first; i forgot to start wifi and i got the same message.
Start wifi first and after that try to login. I use only wifi for internet on my phone

Is there any app that would connect directly to gtalk, yahoo,msn servers and allow chats and other related functions. I don't like or want my passwords or chats to go through private servers.
Default gtalk client is no good for me.

Hi all
I was wondering if its possiable to connect a the omnia 7 to blackberry best server so that users can not just acsess email but Calender and contacts. Also so if they loose the phone it can be remotely wiped and it will run though systems to block alot of websites.

Looks like yahoo mail and ymail was screwing up and not allowing logging in to check mail. anyone else have this issue?
Only issue I have had is that it does not always tell me I have an email. I have a few times been kicked out of it and then when I logged in on my PC had a message saying that my account may have been compromised. After changing the password I was able to get back in on my phone. After all that the app never seems to update and tell me I have an email. When it does I find I have about 10 of them. This is with no settings changed.

If you are talking about the actual ymail app,I had nothing but trouble with it.I configured the stock HTC mail app for my yahoo account and it works flawlessly.
