They both work fine. Original dev is for people who make their own ROMs. Android dev is for people who compile other people's ROMs.

it fcs on gb. there are framework changes.
modding it would require to much work to be worthwhile.
I used the app in the galxy nx dump and pasted on to the app folder on the nexus s with permissions change but it didn't work

what kind of thing see you looking for (customization, stability, stock-ness, etc)? I use paranoid and love it. smoothrom is just what it says, cleanrom is great, I've heard good things of AOKP...just try a few out and see what you like.
