Hey folks,
I shot a great sphere pic last monday in madison square garden, though i accidentally swiped away the pic and its deleted now.( damn gallery landscape mode)
Now to the good part. I still got the "panorama session" folder that includes the orientation.meta file and a session.txt file as well as the necessary pictures.
Does anyone know how to force the camera to "manually render" again and recreate the sphere picture??
Thank you endless and more for any help!!
Have a good day!!

Perhaps you could print out all the pictures in full resolution and place them in a sphere around you, and recreate the scene?
All joking aside, this would be nice to know.

if you use g+, did it happen to upload automatically to your account?
Unfortunately im a EU citizen on vacation so this was during picture taken and wifi connection ((
At home it would have uploaded the pic, indeed.

Today, I opened gallery after a long time. It was full of all sorts of pictures! If you watch any kind of movie, gallery saves few pictures from that! I don't know how this happens, because there are no settings to avoid this.
So did you watch a p0rn clip and it shows up in Gallery? LoL
busted!

Add a blank file named .nomedia to any directory you don't want Gallery to index.
This can also speed the start-up process.

Ok It worked once I restarted my device, but is there a way to block audio form games like Gangstar and asphalt from being shown in your music app?
Is there a .noaudio file or something?
Just be glad you found it first, not your wife/girlfriend

Could be worse - i started having screenshots of asphalt 5 as my camera prieview rather than the image. It still took pictures of whatever the camera was pointing at though

I believe that has something to do with exiting out of the game with home, or LCD Density changer, its one of them, used to happen to me as well,
Does anyone know of a good app for the photos? I really do not like the way the gallery is laid out. I have tried a few, but they do not upload directly from the camera.
If you found a good gallery replacement, please post a link.
Thanks in advance! :thumbup::beer:

Love Quickpic, but it has no support for Picasa.
I love QuickPic and use it regularly. I just wish I could find an app that showed gallery in a hirearchial structure. ie. I have pics in several folders by event under a folder 2011, however you don't see the parent folder structure organization, so they aren't as informative. Yes, I know I can embedded the dates in the exif data, but dates were just the easiest example, could also be done for wallpapers based on category, but I dropsync both tablet and phone images on the phone and have same folders under each parent directory.
Haven't found any other app that does this, unless it's a feature I missed in QuickPic or Scalado Album( which is also pretty decent ).

Dropbox?
If you don't have it yet that is a referral link and if you use that to sign up we both get 500mb of space for free. Also dropbox's app seems to work well and you get free space for uploading pictures, up to 3gigs from just uploading photos =D. You can give links out directly from your dropbox so it should work for what you want not sure what else there is for it. *Oh and there is a nice toggle for only uploading while you are in wifi if you want that so save data and it will do it automatically*
I don't think I would pay for a service like dropbox but it is awesome with it being free.

I synced my new Nexus 4 tonight. It has 2 photos of mine that showed up. I took one of these photos years ago I think. It's of an ex g/f and I'd like to remove it, but I can't find a way to delete it. They have the Picasa logo next to them, but I went to Picasa's website and their is only an option to download the software.
I need to find it before my g/f does lol

I just noticed today that all my pictures from the instant upload got split into like 50 folders, there are are pictures taken on the same day in referent folders, different dates everywhere, it's a mess, when did this happen? Any fix?

That is Google's fault. I think they've done something on their side. I have the same thing on my devices. Worse, my intant upload photos don't appear in gallery anymore and I have empty instant upload folder that comes back even when I delete it from picasaweb, :<
Same here.

IF they were on your external SD you can use a recover app like recuva or similar to attempt to recovery them. JUST don't write ANYTHING to it till you've attempted a few recoveries.
Can also use testdisk and photrec on linux
You can always just break up if not. Might be easier software way..
Good luck.

take your SD card out of phone - if that's where you're pictures were, then place it in PC and try one of the suggested solutions.

Have you had any luck recovering those deleted photos?
I had success useing "disk digger" it recovered 2500 photos. (accidentally deleted a album) roughly 650 of them were corrupted but it was still a success most of them were salvaged.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I used Sandisk RescuePro and it worked great for a microSD card. The key to recovering lost photos is to not shoot any more pics or format i.e. the less you write to the card the better your chances of recovery.
For things stored on your phone, try Disk Digger that 'Menance_69' mentioned or checkout Undelete For Root Users (as the name implies it's only for rooted devices). Hope this helps.
Re: Lost pictures help please
See, now a days so many data recovery tools are available on internet to help you out from this kind of situation. Some days ago I found one tool named as Remo Recover and it fascinated me with its qualities.

Yes it definitely worked and yeah I recovered over 2500 aswell and I deleted an album that I had 250 pictures of me and my gf if only seen her once cause long distance me in usa and her in canada so after deleting it by accident you could of guess how I felt anyway some were corrupted but still backed up most even pictures I deleted like year ago by accident as well. It's just amazing how I got everything back and thanks so much to @leaderbuilder

congrats, man! one thing you could do, too, is get a free dropbox account, and install the app. it will automatically backup all your photos onto your dropbox account as you take pictures. definitely saved me more times than i can count.
for other people's reference, there's also an app called DiskDigger that you can run from your phone that does the same thing as programs mentioned in other posts.
