Hey guys,
I'm trying to compile AOSP for the Nexus 7 3G.
so far, i've synced the master AOSP,
Code:
lunch full_tilapia-userdebug
make -j4
ran fastboot -w flashall
but the device fails to boot now. stuck in a bootlop
Guess proprietary binaries are needed any word when they'll be on the google drivers page?
Take a look here: https://github.com/synman/synman_ao...ter/device/asus/tilapia/proprietary-blobs.txt
And here: https://github.com/synman/synman_ao...b/master/device/asus/tilapia/extract_files.sh
These are from the device trees I made/modified to build GwT.

I'm trying device/common/generate-blob-lists.sh
Going to sync those trees if I'll need . Thanks

You won't find proprietary_blobs.txt in the public Google repo. They reverted it a couple months back.

Well the os is meant for lower end devices so I'm sure the shift would have no trouble running it.

If anyone wants to try evervolv has ICS branch on their device tree for our device, I've never tried to compile against though. Also I finally found the device tree I *think* deck was using in our ICS builds since they aren't on his github...

Is there a jellybean branch on his github / on yours (from when you modified it)?
EDIT: Nvm, found it on his but I doubt it has the changes you made

Really? On the porting page all it said was make sure you have your devices branch
I also wanted the JB branch for something else I wanna try...if you have a local copy could you push it to your github? I would really appreciate it

Yeah I did, but the closest thing to CM10 I see is the liquidsmooth JB branch on there...or is that it?
Oh yeah forgot about that. I really didn't make much mods to the device tree, I made all my edits to the CM packages themselves. My device tree is probably no different then Decks, we both just used Evervolvs base and made the 2-3 edits necessary to get it to compile CM

I was wrong about Firefox being ICS based, it says your devices must have at the minimum ICS 4.0.4
Bump

Hey guys, Paranoid android has kernels with calibrated colors- I especially like the Contrasty one. But, its the stock kernel. Is there any way to port these calibrations to other kernels like franco?
git cherry-pick xxxxxxxxxx (commit number)
Or go to github find the code, change it in the source, recompile the kernel

I built the source from ubuntu
I built it using breakfast and brunch
But I got errors for my proprietary files
So I downloaded the proprietary files from the Repo of TheMuppets
The build was successful how ever my camera drivers are messed up and camera (apk file) is not able to connect to my camera(hardware)
So I flashed a known working AOSP kernel Dhollmen kernel
Still the camera doesn't work...
Any help?
