Beats audio for Nexus 4? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a mod to enable Beats audio on the nexus 4.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app

Yea there is download search for beats on play store or better still search for awesome beats on xda itself...
You will need to flash the file using a custom recovery such as clockwork mod.

The mod files are attached to the thread... Try opening the link I posted on a desktop browser please
You can find it in "Nexus 4 Themes and Apps -> [MOD] [N4] BEATS+XLOUDER! 4.2.1 [05/02/13] JB Louder Audio Improvement Patch" by Misledz

Just turn the bass up a bit on your music player and it'll be pretty much the same

Here is a version. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2135538

Maybe u are a lucky guy who hv a lucky nexus s. Im having this media problem from the 1st jb rom i flashed. Miui.us is the first jb rom that i fully satisfied because there is no problem with media. It doesnt mean that i dislike the other roms. But yeah. I love rom that can play music and smooth .

I've flashed nearly every jb Rom available for my ns4g, with the exception of miui. I've never liked the look of miui. I've never had a problem with media files, but have seen and helped correct several issues that resulted from the rom manager app update that put the files where they didn't belong...

Everything is actually noticeably faster for me including the web browser. The default music player it has is pretty awesome too. Task bar is good. The only problem I have so far is the default web browser is having trouble with JW player. Every time I try to play a clip it goes to a 403 forbidden error. Other than that, it's a lot snappier than the ICS rom I had before (also MIUI, Oodie Prime).

Sorry, there was supposed to be a picture in my post. It's just one wallpaper that I am after, and it isnt posted in this thread (or any other thread in the nexus 5 forum), hence why I asked for it here. It's the wallpaper that the nexus 5 was marketed with, the one with the colourful curved shapes.

Thanks, now i can make my backup phone a little bit more like my nexus 5

Thanks for your work. But I don't see a way to download items from the site as your OP stated. I'd rather do it manually instead of by way of downloading another app. If it has to be through your app, will the items downloaded stay on the phone without the app?

[MOD] 8-BIT and Super Smash Bros. SOUNDPACK (updated 11-1-14)

UPDATE 10/2014
Hi All, I was asked to share my 8 bit sound pack with you all. I always enjoyed the simplistic 5 channel sounds of the Nintendo Entertainment System (80's Baby) and since I have 8bit icons, wallpaper, etc I wanted matching sounds. Any comments are welcome the aren't perfect for everyone. If you have an idea for a better sound for a specific action or other ringtones or notifications, I am all ears.
Included in this .zip are all ui sounds, ringtones, notifications, and alarms.
Warning this .zip DOES replace your ui sounds, but DOES NOT erase your notification or ringtones simply adds some 8bit ones.
I used this mod with my nexus 4 and been using it forever with aosp based rom (RASTAKAT/L Preview) on my Nexus 5. I am only posting now because the forum is quite quiet lately. If anyone would like to take my little mod and use it in their work just give credit where credit is do.
All the zips are in one folder please ensure that you select the right one for your phone.......

Sup everybody, I just completed the SSB soundpack and I was wondering if anyone would like to give it a try and give me some feedback.
So the pack is inundated with SSB sounds from the UI to the alarms, and when you get a call the crowd cheers for your main SSB character.
If you like SSB Melee, PM, or SSB4 this might be for you.
Feedback is really appreciated.
--quick notes-- works with Lollipop or Jellybean. revert is now in main post^^. revert works for Lollipop or JellyBean.

[Help needed] Volume mod

Anyone know how to increase the volume like we did on the S3? I no longer see snd_soc_msm_2x in the system/etc folder.
I've tried the hack from this thread, but it didn't work as expected: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729652
Cyanogenmod s DSP manager might still work

I don't think so. The volume hack increases all volumes (ringer, alarm, notification, etc). DSP is good for music.

[share][MOD][CM][4.3+]Dolby Digital Plus for music lovers and our grand duos

Hey this is my first post and i would like to share a mod(not my work) that's for music lovers : Dolby digital plus! You can hear Surround:highfive: and clear vocal:laugh: + bass:silly:! I have only tried on AOSB rom.
A higher quality earphone with this Dolby mod brings you a better acoustic fidelity.
Link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/themes-apps/mod-dolby-digital-plus-huawei-t2687470
People who are using poweramp to play music may not launch Dolby digital plus . you need to go to Poweramp >> Settings >> Audio >> Advanced tweaks and uncheck "direct volume control"
And Dolby service will launch in poweramp.
Thankyou. Working amazingly on Carbon 4.4.4. Dolby Effect is so goood.
