I've searched everywhere for this but somehow can't find anybody else with the same problem.
My lockscreen clock widget keeps on cropping itself really badly when I unlock, like it's too big for the widget space.
Weird thing is I've tried wiping, and I've tried several different roms and kernels (PA, AOKP, Rasbean) but still the same issue. So lost as to why nobody else seems to be experiencing this. Screenshot below:

Anybody think of an explanation? It's doing my head in !
It is too big. Your font is way bigger then the standard font the clock widget was designed with. What's the mystery?

Why is it so big? Know of any way to change it? I've looked everywhere in my settings and searched all the internets.
Just don't understand how it still does it on all roms I use. Ahhhhh
Damn. That woman is fine.
That's all I have to add to this topic.
Unfortunately I can't help, but could you share your wallpaper?
And her name if you know it, I used to know it but I completely forgot
Have you tried removing the widget from the screen and adding it again?

Hi, im using the official rhodium 6.5 rom,
and i realized that when i change wallpaper in the background of the Malina,
the weather animation is gone,
has anyone ever made a application that its still turned on the animation even in other wallpapers?
For the weather animation still to work, the wallpapers need to be converted to Manila files. You could do this using HDWalls or if you can't use that, post the wallpapers and I'll do it for you.
ok....

I'm doing them now, but due to the way they are with borders and text they may not look great.
Tell me what you think.
That's those done.
BTW, these are for WM6.5 with Manila 2.1 - I'm not sure if they'll work on others.

Thaaaanks! They work flawlessly in portrait mode, though bit small in landscape but i don't really use it that way... Btw if i get that straight, i can only use one cab at a time right?
Yeah, unfortunately you can only use one CAB at a time because the wallpapers have to replace the Manila default wallpaper files for the weather animation to work. Thought they might be a bit small in landscape mode when I was doing them.
Anyway, glad they're ok!
And one last qs. To return to the original one all I have to do is uninstall the cab right? Sorry if I'm bugging here, just a bit new to all this modding experience..
Yeah, that should work ok. Don't worry about asking questions
hi, actually I just got this launcher from the other thread, and i already test it on my HD2 android,it works flawlessly...and nice as well...just sometimes you scroll through some pages,it'll a bit buggy...and press HOME button will lead to force close,in some situations....OK...personally,i like this more than samsung galaxy launcher...it includes widgets...awesome...Tested it on shubcraft v1.5
Click here, It'll direct you to the original thread for more informations and download links...Enjoy and play around with it...

Hi,mate...This situation didn't happen to me...Since I'm using shubcraft v1.5...If not mistaken you are using Hyperdroid build, right?I think this problem related to the screen density...I'm using the shubcraft default screen density (which is 240),it works like charm...You may try to adjust it,since Hyperdroid build using lower screen density(so you see more spaces on the homescreen...
Here are some tips about how to change the screen DPI...click here
Hope this works...you may give it a try,see it goes...If all else failed,You can refer back to your Hyperdroid build thread...Pongsters already listed down plenty of useful tips about his build...
Cheers...
nice wallpaper..
can u share it???
thankx
Its always a good Idea to look at things twice. I say this because when i first saw it I thought it was awfully ugly. Second look I decide its not so bad.

Haha, yea, same here...its pretty cool launcher,it helps us categorise our apps...furthermore it includes widget as well...Thats great...unlike the Galaxy S launcher,we cant install touch wiz widget...
The home and their widget only supports 240 dpi. If not everything looks wrong.

Hi all,
I was wondering. I would like to see an unlock screen with 6 (or 9/12) small pictures/icons in random postions. The user can make up a small story so he would know in which order he should slide/swipe to the different pictures to unlock the phone. Also a nice feature would be if the usere could pick the pictures which would be displayed on the lockscreen. The position of the displayed pictures/icons should always be random to ensure security.
Is there something like this out there for android??
Regards, RR69
I think it's too easy and fast to solve. Why not a lockscreen with something like this to solve?

I just got 2 new 9505G's for me and my wife. Out of the box they had a simple blue themed wallpaper that looks kind of cool. I unlocked the bootloader on my phone which of course reset the data and for some reason defaulted to one of the live wallpapers, while my wife's is still on the blue one I mentioned before.
I cannot for the life of me find the blue wallpaper as an option on either phone (even on the one where it is actually being used). Any ideas where this file is stored?

Okay great! I know how it feels to want something and not get it! Glad I could help. Found it on google.
I take it back, that is not the right image file. It appears similar but it is of a lower quality with weird rendering artifact bands across it. No offense to the guy who posted it, but if anybody else still has any ideas, I am all ears.
I found it by searching inside the stock images in the 9505G development forum.
It is buried inside framework-res.apk\res\drawable-xxhdpi\default_wallpaper.png. Seems pretty stupid they would make the default wallpaper something the user can't select again once he's changed it.
I put it online HERE.
I've done a lot of searching on this and the general consensus seems to be that setting wallpapers on 4.3 compresses them (I can attach a photo for reference if someone asks) and I'm using PA too. Some suggest using another app to set wallpapers but I cannot find one that actually lets you set the stock ones.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I use PA too, and I don't have this problem. I have a 1280 x 720 wallpaper, and I don't see any signs of compression.

Thanks for the reply, here's an uncompressed screenshot of my homescreen, if possible do you think you could try applying the same wallpaper and reporting back? That'd be very helpful, thank you!

It happened to me too but just with this wallpaper (the orange one)...
I tried using a wallpaper I downloaded, and if you zoom in you can see compression when it is applied as a wallpaper. The image on the right is the original.
I've got this problem too. Look on my screens.
It's Android 4.3 Gallery problem, use QuickPic to set wallpapers
