If your phone's been switched off for a few days is there any way to see the time incoming text messages were sent? It only shows the time the message is delivered i.e. when you on turn your phone.
So if your phone's been off when you turn it on and receive a load of msgs they all show the same time?
I dont knw..
Bt mostly they shows the time the msg reached u..

I don't mean the telephone number of the receipient. I mean the telephone number of the service provider. This is the number that you have when you go to start/setting/personal/phone, then go to the services tab, and the number that you see in Voice Mail and Text Messages.
I once experinced the same problem using someone's perpaid phone card in another country trying to send out sms messages, only to find out that the last digit of the telephone number in that setting was accidentally erased by him, hence there was no way for me to send SMS messages using his SIM card.
thank u eaglesteve this was the problem i knew it would be it but i didnt know where to find the place where i put the sms number

Hello..
I today tested my friends galaxy s.. and i noticed that he has something i must have also. When his phone is getting a call, he as 3 sliders:
1) answer the call
2) silence/hangup (cant remember wichone)
3)a slider for quick message, when he slides this one.. he gets 10sample messages where to pick. When he picks the message, ringing hangs up and message is send (for example, "In a meeting, calling u later")
And i want now the 3rd slider, just dont know where and how
Im not sure did u guys get what i tried to say.. sorry for the bad grammar

Yeah, I got what you were saying. This is also a feature in Sense ROMs. Not with a slider, but with a predefined message like "Sorry, I'll call later" that is automatically sent when you decline a call.
Not quite the same, but useless nonetheless
