[Q] Android Market "An error occured"

Hi all,
I can no longer install any paid apps on my phone; as soon as I click the "download" button (which shows the price in case of paid apps) I get the error message "an error occured. Please try again". Everything works for free apps; everything also works from my tablet (which uses the same Google account), so it's definitely the phone, not the account that causes the problem.
I have tried it on WiFi as well as on 3G; I have rebooted the phone; I have downgraded the market app from 3.3.1 to 3.2.0. All to no avail :-(
Any help with fixing this is greatly appreciated.
Try to factory restore and when you do set everything up but before go to market and wipe everything and restart
problem resolved?
hi, have you been able to resolve the problem?
i have the exact problem, able to install any free app however no paid ones with same error as you. there is a workaround however, you can purchase from internet browser on your android device.
if you have managed to resolve this, please let me know this is irritating.

No I haven't.I have to admit though that I never tried the factory reset as was suggested. I do not purchase that many apps so the browser work around is OK for me right now.
it could be the rom that ur using.. because when i had MIUI sometimes open others not nd no connection to.. or market has allot of bugs.. try the oldest market not the 1 that looks like applanet the other with top green nd bottom white..

[HELP] regarding whatsapp

hi guys
so i have a nexus 7
whatsapp was fine in JB 4.2
then i installed custom 4.2.1 roms and formatted my storage
i have paranoid android beta rom now
anyway, i installed whatsapp by downloading apk from the official website
then by appguard and removing "identify phone" i managed to get it to work like i did on 4.2
but, when i turned the device off, and on again, whatsapp icon is there but says "app not installed" when i click it..
i tried to install the apk again it loads then says " X app not installed"
i tried many uninstallers and the problem is that none of them detect that i have whatsapp.. and then i did search for any whatsapp file on the storage and deleted it, and still same problem..
what can i do?
i downloaded newer nersion of whatsapp and still same problem
please help me....
(right now im downloading nexus 7 toolkit, hope it helps)
PS, YES I did wipe cache\dalvik cache many times and it didnt help
EDIT: tried installing through the toolkit, also failed

[Q] Games Stop Working

Hello guys,
I have been having this problem for a while now.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 4.2.2 and when run games/apps ie. The Simpsons Tapped Out or Need For Speed, it loads sometimes and sometimes I get an error that says "The Simpsons Tapped Out Has Stopped Working" or "Need For Speed" has stopped working.
I cannot seem to figure out the solution to this problem. I have used Clean Master to "boost" my memory and clean my cache. I have also done a factory rest on my phone but it did not solve the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Please clarify your software version as 4.2.2 jellybean or did you mean 4.4.2 kitkat. In 4.4.2 google decided to limit access to the external sdcard which might be the reason those games are force closing.

Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Galaxy Note 3 Q&A for more relevant answers.
Good luck
Try flashing a stock ROM from sammobile.com with Odin.
