[Q] Where do you buy a thrive?

Hello, I can't find anywhere that sells the thrive, any tips? I want a new, not used one btw.

Nvm, I found it on bestbuy!

Does anyone know of a cheaper place than bestbuy? It seems pretty expensive.

Got my 16GB for $229 on 1saleaday as a refurb. It came in a brown box instead of OEM box, but looks and operates like brand new. Not a single mark or scratch anywhere.

Just picked up the OEM Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Docking Station with 3.5mm audio out and USB charging slot for $4.95 at HHGreg. The salesman indicated they are being discontinued. Seemed like a killer deal so wanted to pass it on.

Thanks. Ordered one to pick up in store. There are only two stores in DC metro area have it in stock.

Bought all in Boardman Ohio and all in nearby areas. Putting them on eBay lol.

It's pretty nice. I love the keys. You can do everything on the tab via keys without touching the screen. I have it connected to a usb port on my monitor and it charges the tab pretty fast. HH was selling it for $80 before the clearance.

Doesn't it also have a dock connector which includes a HDMI connection.

Yes it has, but no cable inside (at least mine).

got mine and will be picking it up today. To bad keyboard is gone, I'd like to have had one just to try.

I'm gonna go pick up my dock today, but also noticed the keyboard is on clearance, so I may pick that up as well, even though I have the Logitech keyboard. I'd probably get the microSD adapter too, but I don't think I'd ever use it.

Just walked into my local HH Gregg to pick up the desktop dock I ordered online for $4.95... They had the desktop dock marked down to $0.95 and the keyboard dock for $9.95.

Also who cares about 3g you paid out the ass for it and i tether for free because my n7000 is always with me so why pay more when i can press one button and wala free wifi. ..

^^^ +1 exactly what I say.

I used to be on getting devices with more storage but with the ability to use an sdcard with app2sd I don't really feel the need. When I had my iPad and iPhone I definitely went for 32gbs but now I'm good with 16gbs. But Im jealous you were able to get the 32gb for $50 cheaper than me!!!!! Great buy guys!

Do you know how much accessories are in Thailand? The book case in particular?
On my home this weekend and picking up a SGN101 during my half day lay-over in SeaTac. Wondering if I should grab some accessories, too.
Normally I think accessories are cheaper in Bangkok while the gadgets themselves are more expensive than in the US?

UK best qi chargers

Hi, I am looking to get hold of some qi chargers in the UK and as Google still see fit not to provide us with any orbs I was wondering from the range of qi chargers available - which is the one to get in the UK?
a little ebay search returns :

Cool, I just bought one off that guy in Harrow - shame it comes in only white, why White?!
Anyhow - it arrives wednesday next week - will let you know my thoughts on it. I was thinking of doing a mod with it for the car so when Play do actually stock the official one, I can pick one of them up for the room.

Key advantage when I ordered was that they had it on sale... A-UK didn't even have one listed (any... Not just the Zens)

I've got a Maxell Air Voltage one. It only comes with a mains cable, but works well. I stick it on there over night and then in the morning just pick it up and go. It's about £40 so a bit more expensive than the eBay ones, but it works for me.

If it was me and I was going to spend £40 on a wireless charger and couldn't get the Google Orb one, I'd get the Nokia one. Think it looks coolest.

I'm gonna order one but the black is out of stock.

so I went for the £28 one from Ebay. £30 delivered. Its from a guy in the UK who must be importing them from China in bulk.
Its pretty good so far. It uses a 2A 5V USB charger cable. I tried it on my 700mA samsung charger cable and this wasnt really enough to get the connection stable.
It is extreemly slidey - the surface it lays on must be flat as a pancake.
It has a little green led to say it is on and a blue one to say it is charging that flashes.
I doubt I would want this as a bed-side charger.
The car doesnt also offer enough juice to charge using this. Perhaps 1A isnt enough?
Im pretty chuffed for £30. I couldnt ask for more. Ill buy the official one when it comes out as I do want a bed-side charger.

I have noticed it gets very warm. I guess this was to be expected. It is a bit of a novelty, I suppose I would prefer it if this had some kind of small cradle to hold the phone within, and it would be nicer if it was black too.
I might try to mod it slightly, paint it black and put some small mounting pegs on it perhaps?

I don't shop at Best Buy enough to get tied into that stuff. But tax free and work to murder me over the next week is enough for me to wait for my tablet. Newegg also had free shipping. I'm not gonna complain much there!

So they give you a free headset that won't work with the device! The N7 does not support input in the headphone jack. The mic won't work.

I can confirm that the new n7 does have mic in via the audio jack... The headset I used to test gave a terrible buzzing noise though, so can't confirm if the input is any good
