I never have those ON, but if the time zone is correct it shouldnt matter

I locked time zone on S planner settings, but then my new events also play with GMT
Temporary solution, blocking mode / disable notifications between 22:00 and 6:00

Auto Updating time??

all of my previous phones would automatically update when I was in a different timezone or on daylight savings. Is there anyway to enable this in the wizard? it would be nice to have accurate time.
I use mtimesync to synchronize it with time servers over the web. Daylight savings etc should be coming with the regional settings of the OS.
Cheers, M
ive searched but cant find how to edit the reg for the network time
is this even possible?
Where do you get Mtimesync?

[HELP] Annoying Time Zone Settings after each Reboot!

Hello!
I did searches on this forum but seems like I'm the only one with this problem:
After each reboot, the "Time Zone Setting" pops up to choose a zone! I forgot my data cable at home, so I can't post a screenshot.
I got "My Location" activated. My software version can be found in my signature.
Anyone got any idea how to fix it????

DST Problem

Hi everyone. I had a problem with my Leo this morning. It didn't change the time automatically an hour ahead for Daylight Saving Time but I had to change it manually. I live in Italy and so in the time zone GMT +1.
any issue about that?
thank for replies
Bye
Same here... and if I set it manually, it resyncs back to the wrong time itself... And I can't even cheat by changing timezone, it's greyed out...
Do you use the "Internet time sync" option? (Settings tab, Data services, Internet time sync.)
Mine changed automatically for me this morning, which was great since I'd totally forgotten about it and would have gone to work late tomorrow
I had the same problem

It uses your data connection. You don't have to "connect" to the internet to do it.
Yes time sync is on, data connected 24/7... and it insists setting me back to non-DST. My location is even correct... I'll try once more and deactivate if it still does it...
I don't sync with internet time, and mine changed fine.
Mine changed automatically for me too, Internet Time Sync data service was disabled. It's magic (or my service provider).
Time sync is enabled here, but my device switched fine by itself.
I think it must be a registry key.
My wife is using Freyberry's Rom it it updated fine. If I go to the clock options and pull it back to 00:59:50, when the clock changes to 01:00 I'm getting the info that the clock has been updated to daylight saving time, and the clock goes to 02:00.
I'm using NRG's EnergyRom, and if I do the same procedure nothing happens, the clock stays at 01:00. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
We are both using WM 6.5.5.
Thanks in advance.

I think this problem is related with Mylocation update´s.
For example, my clock is set to the current Portuguese time but if I enable Mylocation and make a weather update the clock turns back one hour.
This was since last night when hour changes to summer time.
Now I must have mylocation disable...so this is a Google´s problem related with mylocation.

I´m with the same problem, but I already find the bug, if I have the dummy alarm active, p.e. the one created by g-alarm or cradle alarm, the change doesn't hapen, but if I disable that alarm the change happen fine.

Not here in Portugal, if I enable mylocation and make a weather update the clock goes back to winter time (-1h)
For example, right now it is 19:07 at Portugal when I enable Mylocation and do a weather update the clock turn back to 18:07.
I live in Denmark and had the problem, too. It's working now.
I disabled the location service in Settings, then manually put the clock one hour ahead (so it had the correct time), and turned the location service back on.
Now it keeps the right time, even after updating the weather, receiving SMS messages, and updating the time through gTimeSync (a free program that syncs the time over the Internet).
I think it is working because this morning when I synced with gTimeSync, it would repeatedly tell me that my phone time ("local time") was 1 hour off. After disabling/enabling the location service, it had the right "local time".
I'm not sure whether the disabling/enabling or Google fixing the problem did the magic, but it works for me now (I hope )

Thanks for the info mcnascimento. Just disabled G-Alarm and it worked correctly.
EDIT: It's not a G-Alarm problem, the same thing happens when you use the default Windows Mobile alarm. Can you please confirm?

Yes, that's right. I already tried with sence, titanium and even without any today plugin, just to test and in fact the thing causing this bug is have some alarm on the Windows Mobile, if you use an app that can define a alarm but doesn't show the information on the WM standart alarm, p.e. spb time, you see that the alarm works and even the time change fine acording to daylight saving.
Know, the only thing is to find a way to solve.

What WM Build are you using? On my wifes Phone she has build 28014 and everything works fine. I'm using build 23549 and I'm having this problem. Maybe it only happens with builds 23***.

Time Change
His problem is the change to the Wintertime. Since them the clock always is one hour later.
I have the same problem and no solution .
I would like to stop the automatic time change.
found a Solution here.

Well they're slightly different because of the HTC Sense and the Windows version, but in the Mini the steps are:
Settings/Menu/All Settings\Personal\Phone\GSM/UMTS Services and then scroll down and you'll see "Time Synchronization". Tap there and then "Get Settings".

I have an issue with the clock as well... Ai just got the phone yesterday.
Actually, during the day at the office, the time changes several time by one hour forward... so suddenly after the time was OK in the morning, around 5 PM it showed 11 PM. What do I need to change so the time stays the same? (in the night it went back by one hour, so the alarm woke me up one hour earlier than it should have...wrrr ;-)
BSB tweaks
I am using BSB tweaks, there is option Auto sync clock - just switch off this parameter, it working perfectly. Milan
Actually, when I am at home and have athe autosync on, the time does not change. As soon as I am moving around, the time changes (even though the auto sync is off then). It seems that it changes when the network changes while moving around. When travelling in roaming this weeknd, the time moved forward by 26 hours in just one hour while travelling in a bus.

Thanks, but that's the same solution posted above. What we are trying to fix now is how can we have the time sync activated
bagalk, mine hasn't gone that far, but is definitely a nice bug from HTC. I wonder it the clock will work properly when they change the time again in March or April
solution
As a colleague was having the same problem I looked around for a solution. Having found nothing that appeared to work I looked to the HD2 which runs a similar software setup. This is what I found (I can't post the URL so must simply copy & paste from the original page)
Hey kids
This was irritating me too, I assumed it was not a phone issue but, I contacted HTC yesterday & their reply is as follows, there are 2 steps to perform. I did this last night & so far the phone has been perfect:

Dear Stuart
This is not a fault with the device or its software, your device updates its time automatically from the Internet and from your mobile provider.
Occasionally there is a difference in the time from the Internet and the time from your provider which can cause the time to appear to be changing when it should be the same.
Normally this will resolve itself within a few days, however, this is very inconvenient so we recommend to disable any automatic time updates on your device.
This will not effect your sync with other things like Exchange and similar
From the Home screen tap:
Start - Settings - Data services - Time synchronization - Untick all here.
AND
Start - Settings - Menu - All settings - Personal/Private - Phone - GSM & UMTS Services - Time synchronization - Get settings - Untick all here.
Sincerely,
Adrian

Calendar shows wrong time?

So the preinstalled Calendar app shows my events from Google Calendar all wrong time... I mean the time is correct but instead of PM, it says AM and vice versa... Did anyone experience something like that? I was trying to figure out how to fix it but haven't found a solution or a setting to adjust.
Thanks.

I had similar. The calendar app has its own time setting. I'm in Chicago and it had me somewhere in Asia. I corrected the time zone and its been fine

Weird... thanks for the tip.. I had to change the "lock to timezone" (which set to Central time and I live in Dallas area) to OFF and it is back to normal... show proper AM and PM on calendar time.

Wife and I got T Mobile S7 Edge's at the same time and my calendar was fine, but hers has this same issue (but 11 hours off.) Haven't checked her time zone yet, she just noticed it, but if something else, I will let everyone know what I had to do.

Yeah it's really weird... I think it's a bug... as the time show PM instead of AM but when I tap on the item, it pops up and shows me the correct one...
Now that I turned off locked to timezone option, it shows correctly.
