I have no idea. The update totally screwed up my samsung and gmail accounts. Now, my phone and tablet keep giving my error messages that my password is incorrect. (Resetting the password didn't help)
I can't access anything because of this repeating popup. Evidently...I don't exist anymore.
Grrrrrrr.....

What country?
Not showing available in the UK.

MA5 is the latest 4.1.2 ROM for EU Wi-Fi Note's. It's "DBT" which is for Germany. It's multi-CSC with the UK an included region so N8010 users can install it via Odin from here. It's not an "update," it's a full ROM.

Just delete the accounts in settings and re-add them. I've had to do that a couple of times for my Samsung account.

As long as you don't change the csc, you won't. Never hurts to make a backup, though.

No, you shouldn't, just did it myself a week ago. Flashing takes about 5-7 min. Just needed to reroot, cause flashing this rom will take you back to stock recovery.

Can't confirm that, I had to root it anyway. I just noticed the button to switch it that wasn't available on stock ics.

Nothing wrong with the iPhone. If it weren't for Apple and the iPhone, none of us would be using this phone right now. People seem to get all anti-fanboy about Apple and forget about these little facts
Do I prefer my Android phone? Yes. Do I think the iPhone is crap? Hell no, it was an absolutely phenomenal invention and completely changed the way we use our phones.
Now, can anyone confirm that we can re-root the phone after the upgrade please?
i have to do it all over again but thats ok as long the updates fix the problems
Shouldn't come as a surprise that Kies doesn't let me have this. Where can I download this update so I can update through Odin?
does anybody know if this carrier related or from samsung?

[OTA Captured] German Retail 4.4.4

OTA for German Retail version from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 started to roll out finally.
Download:
http://d-h.st/gUF
The name of the file is Blur_Version.176.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.DE.zip - as always - it is named after the firmware being updated not after the target one.
Were you on stock recovery but rooted when you got this OTA?
I got this Update today too.

You can always GET an OTA but you won´t be able to install it in some scenarios.
Your system partition has to be mostly untouched, but root and Xposed Framework won´t cause any problem. You can use stock or Philz Recovery.
Also got the update but the installation is failing due to unexpected changes to build.prop. I have removed xposed and anything else I can think of that may have changed the system partition but still no go.
Any ideas? Maybe someone could post their build.prop?
I'm also getting the update in The Netherlands. Bought my phone online amazon.de

Well, I can, but can you tell me why are you asking?
I'm rooted and installed the stock recovery then tried doing the Ota (I'm on stock rom if it matters) and it gives an error, just "error" no more information during the installation process.
Anybody can help?

Yes, you have the right version of firmware for this OTA, don´t know why it´s failing for you, there´s too much variables, it´s hard to tell.
As to where the file I posted comes from - it´s right from my phone. Until today morning I was on French 4.4.4, then I flashed the German 4.4.2 firmware to look if I could catch the OTA and it really came, I pulled it from my /cache and posted here. Check out the MD5 sum: d289331e52d0f79d2bcc4b9b390ff338
It´s the same on my local copy, on the cloud copy I posted and also look here:

Apparently the update rolls out depending on that 4 numbers, i think it started from something like 3550 and mine is 3593 so i wanted to see if it is close to my number if you get what i mean.

Why so sceptical? Apart from a different dialer GUI, there´s not much difference you can really feel on 4.4.4, basically there are just some bug fixes.

Perhaps you need to uninstall and remove the modules and the xposed from the system before updating. Xposed and the modules add / modify system files and other sources in the device. Make sure you unroot as the last step as well. Stock recovery is required to install the OTA successfully

Answered in many other threads. OTA is rolling out wave by wave. If you cannot wait, download the full zip (1.4GB) and flash via manual flash option in the same screen (as your screenshot).
Another option, use a VPN with German IP, many users got the OTA through that way.

Did you follow https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/official-oxygenos-4-5-2-7-1-1-ota-t3627003 ??
Another option, the new official TWRP, maybe that one would work: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/development/recovery-twrp-3-1-1-0-touch-recovery-t3632912
It has instructions on how to flash via TWRP if you are rooted.
My OnePlus 5 is not yet rooted or using TWRP (waited for the official version out now).

S8+ Oreo beta - XEU [SOLVED]

I've searched through all the threads but none answered my question. I have an S8+ with XEU/XEU/VOD and have applied for the beta.
Am I even eligible for the update/will I get it?
In recovery and the samsung info app it says that my CSC is XEU, but there is still the VOD at the end...
SOLVED: If you are not getting the Oreo update but you have registered for beta, CLEAN flash either August or September firmware (through ODIN, no KNOX tripping, both available on sammobile) and the Oreo 8.0 update will be waiting for you straight away!

I don't know then, that's what happened to me anyway as you can see from the screen shot in post 2 xeu/xeu/h3g and that was after flashing xeu firmware and the csc (not the home_csc)

Interesting, you're on the September security patch. I'm on October.
Someone was also saying to downgrade and then try to update to oreo. I already have it downloaded so once I get home I'll clean flash the September FW and try to download the beta. Cheers mate!

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Will I get updates?

Hi everyone,
So, around 2 months ago here on XDA, I saw a thread about OneUi 2.0 beta. In the thread they explained a way to get the beta firmware using ADB / SD CARD method.
So I followed the guide and I installed every update where it came. After a while of updates, there was this final stable release update! So I flashed it like all other updates.
Now, my question is, will I get official updates? Or am I stuck at this build, if so, how do I get out of it? What do I need to flash, and will I lose my data?
I hope anyone can help me with this,
Kind regards,
Crewz
Yes, you shold get the normal OTA-Updates. If not, you can flash the software with your CSC via Odin, when it's released. But you have to use the Home_CSC to keep your Data.
But now the January-Patch is only avaliable in Switzerland. You will have to wait a few weeks for the Update.
