Is it possible to fix it by my own, or should I go to a specialist?
Are there already replacement parts for the backcover? What kind of screwdriver do I need if I wanna repair it by my own?
Btw, first broke Nexus 4 ever?
Thanks

Nope.

There currently aren't any replacements for the glass back, not that I have seen at least. Might be a few private shops/stores that are selling them but I highly doubt it, since the phone is new and not as much people still own the phone. I'm really sorry for your "lose" but there isn't much that you can do about it YET.

Alright, I can wait. I'm just happy that my Display is still untouched.
What would you do now? A foil or better a case for protection?

That one is for the glass back. You can do it yourself, you only have to remove the 2 screws.

I have a zagg protection on my phone, so scratches is not a problem
I will google that

I've made one myselfx, it's very easy. Just measure the screen, cut a clear transparent plastic and apply with a few drops of water with dish soap, then use a credit card to remove the air bubbles. Very very easy, cheap and effective. I don't even notice there is a layer of protective film on my screen

If it is still under warranty I would restore to stock and ask for a replacement.

I assume you've tried to press it back in place? Mine did that, and all it needed was to be snapped back.
I have seen some nooks that suffered heat damage similiar to this. The cover may, as was posted, snap back into place. As replacement is not an option for you, you might look at the ifixit app. There is a teardown of the nook showing the correct way to remove the rear cover and reinstall. This might work for you. Just sayin......

[Q] Nexus 4 Leather Pouch

Hello,
Does anyone recognize this leather pouch?
It looks like an OEM pouch for Nexus 4.

I think I should have posted this in Accessories sub forum...
Nobody?
This one?

I have that pouch and it's not oem. It's not even made of real leather. N4 sits in snuggly but it has to be naked meaning no cases or bumpers.
I'm not sure. Is it the same? The upper part looks different.
Forgot to post mine when I made the comment

Thanks a lot for posting the picture.
I guess I'll get one from Bugatti.
You can also go to dodocase.com and pick up a very nice leather wallet pouch from them for the Nexus 4. I'm getting one myself once I can afford it.
The phone is already too large for my taste, so I don't want a huge case like the one from dodocase.com.
I want the smallest possible case or pouch that fits the phone.

Dropped my 1 month old nexus 4, bezel dented :(

Is there any way to repair it? I dropped it from a ~1.5ft. edge and it already has a dent. The dent is on the bezel, and is seen easily if you bend the phone. Pic:

You can put a bumper on it .. it will hide the dent. Other than that, only a new bezel will help you.

Gosh, can I not just open the back part of the phone, and be able to hit the dented part from inside?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
that would void warranty,
you could try open it to push it back with a round metal object, if the phone is fine, either open it or hide it with a case
You're lucky you didn't crack the screen. You would of needed a complete LCD replacement. I would slap a case on it and call it a day.

It is a plastic bezel, so that would not do any good at all.
Like other people have said, it sure does not look as sleek as a naked n4, but just put a case on your phone

NEXUS 6P Screen Replacement? Help

Guys, I've made a huge mistake. I cracked the screen on the 6p and I can't stand looking at it like this. How do I go about getting it fixed? As far as I know, just the screen is cracked. There are no more issues. Any help or advice from you smarter veterans?

Pretty straightforward, actually. Cracked screens aren't covered by limited manufacturer warranty. So you have pretty much 3 choices;
1) Buy a new 6P
2) Buy a replacement online and fix it yourself. You can search YouTube for tutorials on how to do this.
3) Take it to a local phone repair shop.
Nice carpet, by the way. I like it.
