I installed boat browser from the play store and flash works ok with it. Think there is also an AOSP browser for 4.2 in the forum somewhere, it should work with it also.
Works with Boat but on mine crashes full screen. I can't get the stock browser to work at all - just crashes on starting it.
Did not work in boat brower

AOSP browser crashes, boat also crashes and firefox beta as well on playing flash in full screen. It worked on AOSP in 4.1.2
I must say it crashes on some sites and for some it works well
I would be most grateful for any help or advice with setting up my Nexus 10.
My first problem is getting browsers that work with flash player. I've installed flash player but there is no option to activate it in the Opera Mobile browser or in the Chrome browser.
Also, I cannot use the BBC iPlayer or the latest BBC Media player for it says they are not compatible.
you can try boat browser. that is what Iuse on my echo and Erik install on my nexus 10 tonight.
I think skyfire supports flash but you have to buy the add on.

Thanks very much for your reply.
I've tried the boat browser and skyfire but they will not allow me to view a web site that uses flash player because I get an error asking me to install flash player which I have already done.
Perhaps those two browsers will only allow you to view video using flash player.
But I'm not sure.
Dolphin browser worked for me after installing flash. It is similar feel to chrome which is nice.

Yes, I've now managed to get flash working and it is great on the Nexus 10
Just got nexus 7, chrome browser lags??
Anyone know why this is?
Its not smooth at all, I am on the latest firmware and completely stock.
Others notice this?
Yes it isn't smooth, If you want smoothness then try Firefox. Its just like on IOs.
Yeah it is choppy . Better try alternatives btw i don't think the sluggishness has anything to do with n7 it could be due lack of optimization of chrome .

Use dolphin browser

Chrome is the worst browser ever. It's sooo bad. Sooo so bad.
Boat Browser, firebox, dolphin, etc are all better than the piece of trash Chrome

So.. Does Firefox have integrated flash or did I get something wrong?
Sorry for the off topic ^^'

Firefox is the only browser I've gotten flash to work with, but you still need to install the flash 11.1 apk separately.
On topic chrome browser is smooth for me.

Oh well then I don't care
I thought it would be integrated...
And I'm also happy with chrome...

Chrome is also fine for me. Plus I can't live without the browser sync.

I use Firefox Beta and it works just fine n.n I just can't live without the addons!
What's strange is that for me Chrome is the only browser that scrolls smoothly, Firefox and opera both lag on my 7 where on my nexus 4 they are both smooth... Go figure.
I use Firefox beta it seems to show Web sites the best out of all the browsers, but it is not the fastest loading

Using Chrome on CM10.1 12-23 nightly and it's for the most part working great.

I m personally fine with using Chrome on my nexus 7..
Tried dolphin with jet pack, it crashes every single time.
Tried Firefox beta, it's super slow at loading pages so slow that I can't tell if it's loading or if it's hanged.
I'm on completely stock 4.2 without any mods at all. Anyone else with the same experience?

The browser sync is exactly why I use Chrome.

What Browser do you mainly use, and why?
On your Nexus 7, not computer, of course!
chrome and firefox are the best

Dolphin....have always used it on my phones.
Sent from my cell phone telephone....
The stock android browser(aosp), tried all the other ones didn't really like any of them.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I use dolphin because it's the most consistent from a performance standpoint, it has the smoothest scrolling, and it supports extensions. Chrome is too choppy, although the latest betas have been getting better.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
The stock Android browser is my go to browser.
1) High performance (smoother and faster than Chrome and most other browsers)
2) Minimal UI (Blends in well with the rest of the GUI)
3) Flash support (Flash might be dying but it's still widely used)
4) Not clunky (Dolphin and Maxathon and some others seem kind of "clunky" to use)
Dolphin & Dolphin Mini for me. DM still has flash support, and has all the smoothness.

Chrome 95% of the time. Firefox if I need to view a flash site.
Chrome usually.
I side-loaded the AOSP (vanilla android) Browser though, as it does text reflow quite nicely, and will sort of play nice with the Adobe flash player. (It freezes up quite often though in the latter case).
If I am going to read a lot of text from a web site, I will use the AOSP browser because of text reflow. That's something that's important to older folks; I suppose Google thinks that nobody over 50 buys smartphones.
I wish the bookmarks in Chrome appeared visually like the way they do in the stock browser - using the website .ico files is a joke.
naked browser

Stock aosp browser.
form me chrome and firefox are the best...
123
boat browser
fast,support flash,night mode(u have to try)
Funnily enough I spent the whole weekend download many browser on Android testing the best.
I always used Chrome, but got bored of the lagging/crashing and general poor performance.
Out of ALL the browser I tried, and there were a few, I found 2 that were exceptional !!
The best I found, by far... which also made me switch my desktop browser from Chrome was: Maxathon
So many good features, such as Private browser, Night Mode, Flash working from the Get-go, Good tab arrangement and Gesture controls.
IF that doesn't tickle your fancy, try Puffin.
Not as good as Maxthon, but by far alot better than FireFox and Chrome.
Chrome.

boat for some quick searching
opera mobile very rare usage, but i keep it cause i use opera for pc
Stock Chrome, Chrome Beta, and Boat (for Flash sites)

Chrome beta right now. Sometimes Dolphin beta.
Dolphin, with the new plugin for desktop browsers. So i now have all my bookmarks from Firefox, kan push a page to the tablet.

Boat Browser for me. I use to use Dolphin Browser but I felt it got to cluttered and laggy for my taste. There are to many things that Dolphin has that aren't exactly related to browsing. Some may like it and some may not. It's just not for me anymore and boat browser appears to me that the main focus is still on web browsing!
Are there any apps that will give flash support on jelly bean or are we just screwed?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Flash works perfectly for me. I'm rooted and replaced the default browser (Chrome) by renaming the BrowserProviderProxy.apk and BrowserProviderProxy.odex and copying in the Browser.apk from the AOSP Nexus browser. Side-loaded flash for mobile from the Adobe site. Search a little and you'll find lots more info about this. Other users claim Flash support on other browsers, but I haven't used them.
People like to use Firefox and install the flash apk. I have honestly never needed to use flash player though.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
I sideloaded the flash player that I backed up from another device and use it with Firefox Beta (no root required).
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I've attached the latest flash player. It worked fro me with Firefox. Mine is rooted. But if you are not you can give it a shot. Let me know if it works.

Works great on boat and maxthon browsers.

Dolphin works. Even newest versions. You need to delete or change some tunny browser file. I forget exactly, just search dolphin and flash. And no....you don't have to use version 8.5.xxx. that will crash if you full screen a video.

I just tried UC browser with flash and it worked. So far it's the only one that hasn't crashed when playing flash videos. Firefox crashes occasionally, boat crashes EVERY time I try to play a flash video.

Many thanks. always want to use newest versions of Dolphin with flash support and now my dream just came true.
After read your comment and google that finally I has found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933179 thread and it work!!
Ok, but I'm not rooted (yet)
Just got my nexus 7 recently, maybe in the future I'll root it.
I would recommend puffin browser or boat browser, both support flash without any extra app. Just download one and 'ur ready to go!
