Which is the best rom and kernel?

I hv rooted my phone? Can anyone help with the fast performing and battery efficient rom for my sgy

Hey man just go back to some more pages and you can see several threads have been locked because of this question. There are a lot of roms available for galaxyy in developement section. Go there and try some. Dont expect that anyone else will give you answer as i am sure that this thread will be closed by mods.

There is no such thing as a best custom Rom it is subject to the users preferences I.e a good Rom for me can be a horrible 1 for you

[Q]Can I install Chobits Digitalis 1.2 Reloaded Rom after I overclocked SGY to1.2Ghz?

Yes, I overclocked my SGY to 1.2Ghz. (Thanks for BiswajitBarman) My question is that: can I install this ROM without I lose the 1.2Ghz? or I can Install it, but after that I have to do again the overclock? Thanks a lot.

Yes you will have to flash merruks kernel again since in flashing a Rom again you'll first have to flash stock Rom using odin which will flash stock kernel

[Q] samsung galaxy network problems after custom rom flash

well i thought it would be cool getting a custom rom and i did all worked well even the network then i noticed wifi was not working so i decided to go back to stock rom and my network disappeared and i cant make calls or texts or browse the web
my phone is rooted btw
oh and im 14 excuse me spelling or me not making sense :laugh:

Are u on the stock rom native to your region if not

See the part on making your status bar transparent of its a app then the app you'll decompile is the apps apk if it's a system file then you'll be decompiling framework-res.apk
