Hi,
My phone is Moto XT535 and has O/S ICS 4.0.4. I have recently found a problem that Google Music Player does not update song list after I edit tag of some songs. I have tried some apps in market to rescan media, but problem still exists. Do you have the same problem and could you please share your solution? Thanks!

Hi hacktheheaven,
Thanks for your suggestion. I have used some apps to clear cache. But the song list & infromation are still not updated. Somone in other forums gave the following method for O/S 2.3:
Settings>Apps>All>Media Storage>Clear Data then reboot your phone
But, I can not find similar "Clear Data" funtion in ICS. Pleaes help advise how to clear data in ICS. Thks!

I can access the Android Market, but it will not download any apps. It starts to download for half a second but then stops. I have used the "BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA GINGER 2.3.3 V5 " and "AmeriCanAndroid" ROMs and have the same result.
I have deleted cache and data from all the programs that start with Google and Market but I still cant download any apps. Any tips on what I can do to fix this?
Update to v 11 !!!
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
The ROM type is SD, not NAND.
i had the same problem. you have to move what ever apps you have stored on the "phone" to the sd card. then you'll be able to download new apps and place them back on the phone ie pandora...

go to ----> settings-applications-manage applications-all
google backup transport clear data
google partner setup clear data
google services framework clear data
market clear cache
than reboot

I have tried this and still have the same problem. I have encountered this same error for different SD ROMs like AmeriCanAndroid and RAFDROID HD. I have even flashed my stock ROM to Energy. My radio is 2.15.50.14. Any more tips? I will try the MUIU if I can't it fixed i guess.

I've only managed to install one app, skype so far.
Whenever i try to install a app from Google play, i get error 498
I rebooted my device about 4/5 times, tried with and without SD, and cleared google play cache and userdata.

I got this from Google:
http://answers.informer.com/18729/trying-download-applications-using-google-keeps-displaying
Here is one of the answers:
"Thanks for writing in. It looks like the apps you're trying to download is 38.2M and 35.5M, which is larger than your device's cache partition. Your device is unable to download apps on Google Play that are larger than the cache partition even though you may have enough internal storage space available. Any app larger than 20-25M is too big for certain devices, namely Samsung devices, to download at one time."
Maybe it is a limitation for Blackstone to download that particular app. Since you have downloaded Skype, it appears your device should be able to handle smaller apps.
Hope this helps.
P.S. Please use the Internet to search for answers before posting questions.
Hey Chan,
thanks!
Il check that out!

thanks,
This is actually an old phone of mine, I have a new phone, a samsung s3 mt6575 2 sims, much better!
Thanks though!
When launching S-Voice I get the message "It seems that another application is using the microphone. Please close it and try again"(translation from Spanish).
This started after installing Samsung HD TTS(UK English and Spanish) but uninstalling and clearing data did not solve. Also tried stopping all services related to speech and wiping system and Dalvik cache.
My device is a GT-I9500 running MJ5 Android Jellybean 4.3.
Any clues? Thanks in advance.
More info
Addendum: Tried other apps which make use of mic(Google Now, video recorder, Skype). They all work fine, looks like the issue is related to S-Voice only; in such case maybe removing S-Voice, data/cache and related services and reinstalling could help.
Does anyone know how to do that on 4.3 MJ5 JB?
Thanks in advance.

Hey guys I have a problem: Whenever I get a voicemail in Whatsapp and want to play it, it plays the 2/3 of the voicemail but then it starts bugging and just stops..
When I try to play the voicemails in ES data explorer it says "server died".
I am running Cyanogenmod "12.1-20151204-NIGHTLY-jfltexx"
I already had this issued in previous versions
Any solutions to this?
Hello,
such Bugs should be reported in the development Thread. But please do a factory reset and don't restore WhatsApp via Titanium.
Try enabling awesome player from the developer options.

Thanks it working fine now.
I've been having this problem whenever I try to delete an entire album. I'm assuming it might be something I disabled through Package Disabler and I'm having trouble finding out which one it is. Does anyone know what packages affects this?

please describe your problem in more detail, are you getting any error while deleting the album?
As soon as I press the delete button, it'll show the progress bar for the folder and then immediately get a "Gallery stopped working" error.
Hi dear ,
Did you try to clear the Gallery app data from the settings and then try again to delete any album !?
Try it. It works in most common problem related with ' app stopped working '

i am sorry for late reply, there may be some basic things you can try that will solve this problem. go to application manager search gallery and clear cache, reboot your device, and if problem still not solved then try to clear cache and dalvik cache try to clear RAM with any good RAM cleaner application
Thanks for the help! Clearing the app data and cache fixed the crashes for me.
