i have installed 15.DEC 25 Lang HD2 Pdaimatejam Rom Wp7.8 OS 7.10.8858.136 RMT v8.7 >FULLY UNLOCKED> ROM to my htc hd2. Installation went smoothly. But the mobile is rebooting all the time. It rebooted 3 times while setting up and then it will reboot all the time. i tried to install it more than 5 times but i am facing the same problem. can anyone help me with this. previously i have installed 15.DEC 25 Lang HD2 Pdaimatejam Rom Wp7.8 OS 7.10.8858.136 RMT v8.5 >FULLY UNLOCKED> ROM . I had no problem with that but i am facing problem with only v8.7.
problem is in sd card....
is no rules for that: with one version maybe working ok but with another one nonstop restarts

from my experience dont use more than class 4 with 32 or 64 gb cards....

I tried "SanDisk 32GB UHS-I" and sometimes i had reboot issues. Now i bought "SandDisk 32GB Class4" and single boot works fine, then i tried dual=issue.
In the end i found that the problem was in partition > for WP7 i set 16.384MB = without issues or reboots now.

Hi, u can expand upto 32GB micro SD Card. I'm using 8 GB card on my HTC Touch P3450. It works fine.
I have used both a 2gb micro and a 4gb micro HC in my Touch but its the enhanced memory version and I am not sure if the original touch supports HC cards or not? Look in the manual or try HTC website to check.

I want to increase the storage capacity of my gene as i want to have all my books(medical-1.5 GB&stories-1 GB) and songs(around 4 GB) in my gene. Did any one of our member has tried a higher capacity over 4 GB?
Will sandisk 8GB work in Gene after installing SDHC driver available in our forum
I know that if i use one of the custom ROMS available here it can be possible but i am afraid of bricking my gene.
so please share the information that whether it is possible in gene with native WM5 official ROM after applying the SDHC driver update available in our forum.

yeah it does work on the gene but would suggest to use a 4gig bcaz a lotta ppl usin a 4gig card n have no complaints

i have formated my memory card and it came with the phone its a 2gig card.
its a 512mb european not 1024 us.

I'm not sure but 2 gig might not be big enough, that build haas a1 gig data store plus ask other files...
When I had that problem, had to do a panasonic reformat on the sd card.

Agree...a reformat with panasonic SDFormatter solved all my booting problems. Now that's what I use for all my sd cards. Also, the 2Gig sd size might be part of the problem.
Any smaller android builds? and where do i get this panasonic formater?

Just bit the bullet and gone back to the HD2 from the iPhone 4s - was just wondering with pdaimatejam rom can you use the old card unlock cab like you could with yukixbmod rom?

To add a bit more detail for future searchers, as of today, Yuki's ROM is the only commonly used ROM that locks the storage card. pdaimatejam's and Ultrafruit leave the card unlocked. You will need to use partitioning software like EaseUS Partition Master (free) to format it after the fact before Windows can use it, though. I personally recommend pdaimatejam's ROM right now. Ultrafruit is great, but a bit more buggy (reboots), and Yuki seems to have more power drain issues. (Opinion of one, though)

Alright few days ago my dad gave his HD2 to me and I went through many Custom ROMS of Android.
I liked this one much and for me it's stable; NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.7 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860 )
Now I don't know what to do, if I install this ROM with NAND, I can install some apps in the beginning but after it show "invalid package error" due to less space in phone memory and it gets slow too.
Few days ago I bought MicroSD 8GB 4 Class memory card and now I'm thinking to install NativeSD version of it with 1GB EXT4 partition.
Will it work like NAND, I mean will it be fast? Or should I install INT2EXT ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124 ) with NAND only. Its been like 3 weeks I'm just removing and installing ROMS, I just want a stable ROM for my HD2.
If you have any other suggestions please share it with me.

Well if you want stable ics then ur on the right Rom....
If you want stable jelly bean than aokp is the way to go...
And if you want the fastest and most stable sense 3.5 Rom then give our tbd Rom by developer sundawg...
Any how I suggest using nativesd except for with sense we use int2ext
